Abstract

The invention relates to a reusable nappy with a triple anti-leak barrier, which comprises a cover (1) as an element of external anatomical support on the user's body; a pouch (2) as a waterproof intermediate element with gripping tabs useful for holding when coupling or uncoupling the pouch and the cover, with a continuous elastic strap on the inside face at a distance from the border on the opening perimeter, which keeps an absorbent pad in position and allows the pouch to be suitably stretched and placed on the baby's crotch; and an absorbent pad (3), which is removably fastened to the pouch. According to the invention, the triple anti-leak barrier comprises a pre-emptive barrier, an internal barrier and an external barrier. In use, the pouch and the skin enclose the absorbent pad and, with the cover, form an efficient seal against leaks.

Description

REUSABLE DIAPER WITH TRIPLE ANTI-LEAK BARRIER TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to the technical field of external body hygiene, particularly to articles intended to absorb and retain body secretions, and more particularly to reusable cloth diapers.

The invention comprises a cover as a support element, a cover as a waterproof intermediate element and a pad as an absorbent element, which together make up a reusable diaper with a triple leak-proof barrier suitable for positioning in the crotch area of a baby or child.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Today there are many families of related products in this field, and although washable products have been around for a long time, the first designs had a very simple way that consisted of having to fold a square of cotton or flannel fabric and fasten it with a pin. or any other means of restraint, being a complicated system to put on the user especially if the baby is in motion, although with the advantage of being reusable. More recent are cloth diapers that include a waterproof material and different fasteners. They are undoubtedly more elaborate than pre-folded diapers and are also an economical solution to counteract the high cost and environmental impact of disposable diapers, but the vast majority of cloth diapers on the market require frequent washing, in addition to having a bulky shape and without completely solving the leakage problem.

Publication US9592165B2 describes a reusable diaper comprising an absorbent insert and a waterproof outer cover in which it is possible to insert and remove an absorbent insert in the cover pocket, due to the fact that it has an envelope-type opening. The insert can be washable or disposable; The inner and outer layers that make up this diaper are reusable, but must necessarily be washed each use, therefore a particularly important maintenance.

Patent US6926705B1 describes a washable underwear formed by an inner pocket connected to an intermediate part which in turn is connected to an external waterproof part. The inner pocket exhibits an elasticized edge extending over all or part of its inner edge with a covering of the absorbent element. The presence of a soft intermediate material between the pocket and the outer part can generate tension problems because, in contact with the edges of the pocket, it can leak by capillary action, as well as in the stitches particularly between the pocket and the underwear. Another problem results from the movements of the user in a sitting and standing position, as well as the weight due to the liquid contained in the structure, the assembly can give way and leakage can occur in the crotch. Such a design does not achieve permanent contact between the intermediate element and the wearer's skin. Document FR2975587A1 describes a reusable diaper made up of an inner part, an outer part and an absorbent element, in the inner part there is a permanently connected pocket that has an elastic edge. A surface of the opening is approximately lower than a surface of the removable absorbent member, such that the removable absorbent member is held between the housing and the inner wall. A significant problem is the low probability of permanent contact with the skin in the wearer's crotch, which causes frequent leakage problems, and the pocket being fixed does not allow any of its components to be reused. The forward adjustment with hook and loop closure of such thickness is surely uncomfortable on the wearer, especially when a baby crawls or sits, which happens in much of the infant stage.

Patent document EP2810629B1 describes a similar reusable diaper consisting of a cover of waterproof material for absorbent pad and associated diaper-pants. In this cover it is possible to protect the absorbent pad since it has a front pocket and a back pocket that receive the ends of the pad. The cover is attached to the diaper-pants by press buttons, and although they are hidden from the baby's skin they are slightly less practical than they seem mainly when it comes to removing the cover after use and with solid content, since it does not have with an area specifically designed to serve this function. Furthermore, if the male connectors are pointed in the direction of the user, the possibility of skin markings in the event of a disconnection between the push buttons increases. The back of this system is cut higher and wider than the front and adjusts to the user using a hook and loop closure from the waist to the back. Its hook and loop closures are wide, not so easy to open and close, sometimes it becomes loose during washing, and they are not very quiet so at night it can be uncomfortable for a baby sensitive to noise. Also, because the zippers are at the upper limits of the fit appointment it is highly likely that the tiny hooks will stick to the wearer's back, causing skin irritation. Carrying the baby head-on with this diaper system will cause frequent irritation to the adult's arm from contact with the bottom of the tiny hooks on the closure. The prior art solution does not achieve permanent contact at the wearer's crotch, nor does it offer good permanent fixation of the absorbent pad in the proper position, so the risk of leakage will occasionally occur.

A similar concept is illustrated in the patent publication FR2941148A1 since it describes a washable cloth diaper that consists of an outer element of the diaper-pant type adjustable by hook and loop closure, a cover in the shape of a hammock made of waterproof material and an element flat absorbent. A highlight are the fastening means arranged along the width of the cover, made of semi-rigid plastic material, which allow a temporary coupling with the outer element. This assembled system shows that during its use the user could experience some discomfort due to the rear semi-rigid strap that will be in constant pressure to the back, as well as the front semi-rigid strap will be in continuous pressure with the belly, being a solution to place and remove the intermediate element and maybe guarantee a fit, but in the end something annoying and uncomfortable for the user during use. Also the seam edges on the upper face of the cover give a slight feeling of discomfort. Another deficiency found is the adjustment to the front as it limits the possibilities to place the washable diaper on the user, to only the front. The solution of the prior art does not achieve an efficient seal against leaks, the chances of a leak reaching the clothing is relatively fast since the system depends entirely on the contact between the intermediate element and the skin not to fail, therefore that the risk of leakage will happen occasionally.

Other examples of the process for manufacturing or obtaining diapers are known from the published documents US9872800B2, US9095478B2, US9675499B2, US20130023846A1, US5217447A, US5725518A, US8679085B2, FR3064176A1, FR2872028A1, WO200841938A1, WO8020004A1, WO8032824A1, WO8032240A1. In general, in an attempt to minimize the leakage seal of the absorbent member, known diapers have some disadvantages in terms of comfort, functionality and performance.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The development of the present invention is based on a reusable diaper with triple leakage barrier capable of overcoming the disadvantages of the diapers of the aforementioned techniques.

The solution of the present invention is a reusable diaper with a triple anti-leak barrier that guarantees an efficient seal against leaks, with great comfort and ergonomics, with a practical system to use and care, suitable and safe for a baby or child.

The technical advantages presented by the invention described is a reusable diaper with triple anti-leakage barrier that is intuitive to use, easy to attach and detach each of its parts, with simple care in washing and drying, without complicated maintenance. Being completely reusable, this type of product offers economic advantages in terms of reducing costs on diapers, practical advantages with less time in care and quick drying in two of its three main elements, ecological advantages that are very necessary for the preservation of a sustainable ecosystem .

In a global sense, the invention refers to a reusable diaper with a triple anti-leak barrier that comprises an anatomical cover to the user's body, a cover as an intermediate element with an elastic tape of a continuous piece sewn on the inside at a distance from the edge. , consequently, it presents pleats at all opening lengths, allows the cover to be stretched and adapted to the wearer's crotch, and an absorbent pad that is removably attached to the cover. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

Figure 1 illustrates a reusable diaper with triple leakage barrier according to the invention that particularly comprises a cover 1 as an external support element adjustable to the user's body, it is considered an external element because it is the element visible from a perspective external to the user's body and, in order of layers, the one that is furthest from the wearer's crotch. It has adjustment means at the waist that close towards the user's back, it includes an opening for each thigh. The cover comprises a brief-like shape.

The invention further comprises two elements inside the reusable diaper, a cover 2 as an intermediate element of waterproof material that comprises useful gripping tabs for grasping, transporting, depositing, the cover 2 is suitable to be placed on the user's crotch; and an absorbent pad 3 in contact with the wearer's skin and ensuring an effective connection between the absorbent pad 3 and the cover 1. The cover 2 and the user's skin enclose the absorbent pad 3, forming a seal against possible leakage.

Figure 2 illustrates a schematic plan of the cover 1 in a vertical position from the axis X ^" , symmetrical with respect to the longitudinal axis and asymmetric with respect to the transverse axis, it is comprised of an intermediate part 11, a front part 12, a rear part 13, and a clamping area 14 in the thigh openings. The clamping area 14 extends over the intermediate part 11 on both sides along the longitudinal line, allowing the invention to be properly adjusted in the thigh area of the user and form a leakage barrier.

In a main embodiment and in a fourth embodiment the cover 1 is comprised of a synthetic fabric, in a second embodiment it is comprised of a natural fabric, in a third embodiment it is comprised of a combination of synthetic fabric and natural fabric. To make the cover 1, first the intermediate part 11, the front part 12, the rear part 13 and the clamping area 14 are cut separately. The width of the clamping area 14 is obtained by means of a rectangle twice the distance from an inner edge 15 to an outer edge 16, then folding in half and joining with mechanical reinforcement by stitching 17 with intermediate portion 11 along the inner edge 15. The intermediate part 11 has a front edge (f) with a longitudinal distance (d) that joins the front part 12 by seam 17, it has a rear edge (F) with a longitudinal distance (D) that joins the rear part 13 by seam 17.
