Abstract

Selon l'invention, un procédé de traitement de support visuel consiste à effectuer une conversion entre un bloc actuel de données de support visuel et une représentation codée correspondante du bloc de vidéo actuel, la conversion du bloc actuel consistant à calculer un gradient spatial en fonction de différences d'échantillon d'échantillons spatialement voisins et/ou un gradient temporel en fonction d'échantillons temporellement voisins associés au bloc actuel, et une technique utilisée pour calculer le gradient spatial étant la même qu'une technique utilisée pour calculer le gradient temporel.
