- the Fitzpatrick Skin Type classification may be used for the skin type. In this classification, it is classified into skin types I to VI according to the reaction of the skin when exposed to ultraviolet rays. Since the skin color changes depending on the skin type, it has a large effect on the UPE strength of the skin type and also affects the oxidative properties caused by ultraviolet rays. Since UV prevention habits and makeup habits differ depending on the gender, the oxidation characteristics may differ depending on the gender.
- the oxidative properties identified using the learning model refer to the degree of oxidation in the skin, and can be determined by measuring the oxidative state of stratum corneum proteins, lipid peroxide, and the like. Determining the oxidative properties of the skin was invasive and required testing with reagents and was not provided as readily available information to the subject. Since UPE is a luminescence phenomenon associated with a biochemical reaction in a living body, it is closely related to oxidative properties. Therefore, UPE intensity can be used as an explanatory variable, and other incidental information that can affect the oxidative properties can be used as an explanatory variable to determine the oxidative properties of the skin.

Description
UPE(Ultra-weak photon emission)とは、生体から放射される微弱な発光であり、生体内での生化学反応に伴う発光現象である。

68, No. 8 1998)。
