Abstract

Provided are a system and method for implementing a 3D-VR multi-sensor system-based road facility management solution. The system comprises: a sensor data collecting unit for collecting observation data and temporal information of a road facility from an image sensor, a navigation sensor and a 3D measurement sensor for obtaining 3D geographic data, respectively; a data convergence unit for performing data convergence for geometric models on the basis of geometric structure information comprising an inner geometry and an outer geometry defined for each sensor; an image data processing unit for generating image data for spatial information by registering, in pixel units of image data, 3D spatial information generated from point cloud data-related information comprising at least 3D location data with reference to the index, geometric structure information and temporal information; an object detection and recognition unit for detecting and recognizing object information related to the road facility on the basis of the image data for spatial information; and a database unit for linking and storing the image data for spatial information and the object information.
