It is not supposed to be installed. It is also assumed that the number of wireless base stations to be installed is given in advance, and a method for calculating the number of wireless base stations is also required.
- the cover area of the radio base station is determined by manually drawing a circle on the drawing of the installation area with a compass, and each radio is located in the center of that area.

- Step S2 of selecting a division ratio that minimizes the diagonal length of the divided area according to the vertical and horizontal lengths of the installation area, and the difference m between the divided number d and the number of wireless base stations s is set to 0 for each divided number d.
- step S3 has an aspect ratio close to 1: 1 and is closest to the center of gravity of the installation area among the x divided areas on the short side of the installation area.
- y divided areas on the long side are divided into y + 1 equal parts or y-1 equal parts, repeated until the difference m becomes 0, and finally the division number d becomes equal to the AP number s.

- y division areas on the long side are divided into y + 1 equal parts or y-1 equal parts, repeated until the difference m becomes 0, and finally the division number d becomes equal to the AP number s. It is a configuration for performing.
- the present invention it becomes possible to automatically calculate the installation positions where a predetermined number of wireless base stations are evenly and statically installed in the installation area by simple calculation.
- FIG. 6 is a flowchart showing a procedure for calculating the installation position of a wireless base station (AP) according to the present invention. It is a figure which shows the example of the processing result of step S2. It is a figure which shows the example of the processing result of step S3. It is a figure which shows the other example of installation of the wireless base station (AP) by this invention.
- the feature of the present invention is that the number of APs to be installed in the installation area is given to the information such as the number of wireless terminals evenly accommodated in the installation area of the radio base station (AP), and each in the installation area. This is a procedure for calculating installation positions for uniformly installing APs. At this time, each AP in the installation area is installed so that the radio wave intensity in the installation area is substantially equal.
- AP radio base station
- FIG. 1 shows an installation example of a radio base station (AP) according to the present invention.
- FIG. 1 shows an example in which 11 AP11s are installed in a rectangular installation area 10 having a short side a and a long side b.
- the installation area 10 is divided into 11 divided areas 12, and the AP 11 is arranged at the center of gravity of each divided area 12.
- the cover area 13 of each AP 11 is represented by a circle, and each divided area 12 is covered, and the entire installation area 10 is covered by the cover areas 13 of the 11 AP 11.
- FIG. 2 shows a procedure for calculating an installation position of a radio base station (AP) according to the present invention.
- steps S1 to S5 are executed.
- Step S1 One or more candidates for the number of divisions d of the installation area are determined according to the given number of APs s. This is because when the number of divisions s and the number of divisions d are set to be equal and the division pattern of the installation area is limited, the following processing is performed assuming the number of divisions d including before and after the number of APs s.
- the minimum value of the candidate of the division number d is the maximum square number of s or less
- the maximum value of the candidate of the division number d is the minimum square number of s or more.
- Step S2 The division number d is represented by a division ratio x:y (x ⁇ y), and the division ratio that minimizes the diagonal length of the division area is determined according to the vertical and horizontal lengths of the installation area for each division number d.
- the minimum diagonal length means that the aspect ratio of the divided area is closest to 1: 1 (square).
- the division ratio x: y with respect to the division number d (9 to 16) according to the AP number 11 is as follows.
- the installation area is a rectangle with short sides a and long sides b (aspect ratio a:b)
- x is the number of divisions on the short side
- y is the number of divisions on the long side.
- the division ratio that minimizes the diagonal length of the divided area depends on the aspect ratio a:b of the installation area. Therefore, the division ratio that minimizes the diagonal length is determined for each division number d (9 to 16) according to the aspect ratio a:b of the installation area.
- each divided area is square, the cover area (13 in Fig. 1) of each AP can be minimized.
- the cover area 13 in Fig. 1
- Step S3 For each division number d, the division pattern is adjusted until the difference m between the division number d and the AP number s becomes 0.
- the adjustment of the division pattern means that among the x divided areas on the short side, the aspect ratio is close to 1:1, and among the divided areas closest to the center of gravity of the installation area, y divided areas on the long side are arranged. Is divided into y + 1 equal parts or y-1 equal parts, repeated until the difference m becomes 0, and finally the division number d becomes equal to the AP number s. If the division ratio x: y is represented by a division pattern, it is represented by y-y-...- y and x y's.
- the division pattern is adjusted for each division number d (9 to 16) according to the difference m between the division number d and the AP number s.
- Step S4 When the adjustment of the number of APs s, the number of divisions d, the difference m, the division ratio x:y, and the divided areas is completed by the processing up to step S3, the total sum of the diagonal lengths of the divided areas is calculated for each divided number d.
- the division pattern with the smallest total sum is selected.
- a division pattern in which the diagonal length of each division area is the smallest (square or close to a square) is selected for each division number d, but the division number d becomes equal to the AP number s by the adjustment of the division area in step S3.
- the optimum division pattern is the one in which the sum of the diagonal lengths of each division area is minimized.
- the difference m between the number of divisions d and the number of APs s is +1, it is necessary to reduce the number of division areas by one, resulting in y-1 equal division.
- the total of the diagonal lengths is different between changing the 4-division of FIG. 3(2) to 3 divisions and changing the 6-division of FIG. 3(3) to 5 divisions. Sum becomes smaller.
- the division pattern 4-3-4 is selected instead of the division pattern 6-5. This process is executed for each number of divisions d (9 to 16), and the division pattern that minimizes the sum of the diagonal lengths of the respective division areas is selected.
- Step S5 Finally, each AP is placed at the center of gravity of each division area of the selected division pattern.
- the s APs can be evenly and geometrically arranged with respect to the installation area having a size of a ⁇ b. An example of this is shown in FIG.
- the installation area has been described so far as a rectangle, but the present invention is not limited to this and the present invention can be applied to other figures.
- FIG. 5 (1) when the installation area can be divided into rectangles in combination, the given number of APs s is divided according to the area ratio of the divided installation areas, and the divided rectangles are divided.
- the processing procedure of FIG. 2 is executed for each installation area.
- FIG. 5(2) in the case of an installation area including diagonal lines and curves, the processing procedure may be similarly performed by approximating a plurality of rectangular installation areas.
- the installation area is a three-dimensional space, it can be easily handled by replacing one rectangular area with a rectangular parallelepiped and performing the processing procedure of FIG. 2 by three-dimensional calculation.
- the procedure is as follows.
- the short side of the installation area is a and the long side is b.
- the AP cover area is represented by a circle
- the length of one side of the inscribed quadrangle is l.
- the number of divisions in the short-side direction and the long-side direction can be calculated by moving up the decimal places of a/l and b/l.
- the number of divided areas multiplied by the number of divisions is the required number of APs, and the APs are arranged at the center of gravity.

Description

d=10 分割比2:5,1:10
d=11 分割比1:11
d=12 分割比3:4,2:6,1:12
・・・
d=16 分割比4:4,2:8,1:16
d=10 分割比2:5,1:10
d=11 分割比1:11
d=12 分割比3:4,2:6,1:12
・・・
d=16 分割比4:4,2:8,1:16
(対角線長)2=(a/x)2+(b/y)2
(対角線長)2=(a/x)2+(b/y)2
