[0002] The method of treatment by using heat source to diffuse directly essential oils from medicinal herbs or drugs, etc., into chakras, acupuncture points (especially in areas where treatment is needed) through the skin has become popular for hundreds of years (hereinafter referred to as the method of sauna), especially in Asian countries such as China, Vietnam, Japan, India, Korea, etc., this treatment method is used much.

However, this moxibustion device is still not really effective because it is only better than the conventional methods in the point that the blower is used instead of using the mouth to blow the smoke of essential oils and heat into the area to be ventilated. All other operations such as burning the wormwood and pouring wormwood into the wormwood tube are by hand and allowing the free fire without temperature control, thus creating much smoke and causing bums if it not operated proficiently by physicians. Therefore, with diseases that require sauna in many different areas of the body, the above handheld devices will not meet the treatment requirements.

However, the device is still cumbersome, inconvenient in pouring water and removing herbal residue after inhalation; the therapeutic effect is still not high and the equipment has not been automated.

[0008] An object of the present invention is to provide a sauna chair with herbal essential oils, which is capable of achieving the highest inhalation effect, the effectiveness, convenience and hygiene safety as well as device automation.

[0009] The sauna chair according to the present invention has the effect of bringing essential oils into the body through acupuncture points, chakras to cells or areas needing treatment. The scent of herbs stimulates nerve, helping reduce stress, relax, and stimulate nervous excitement and positive feels. In addition, heat energy is also provided and increases energy, increasing body temperature, thereby increasing the ability of the immune system and thus enhancing the natural defense resistance to prevent diseases, supporting for effective treatment of diseases such as depression, shoulder pain, hand numbness, degeneration of vertebrae, flu, prevention of seizures, mumps, hyperactivity, autism, respiratory diseases, gynecological diseases, and some cardiovascular diseases, etc.

[0016] Here after, the present invention will be described in detail through the preferred embodiments of the present invention and attached drawings, but it should be understood that the invention is not limited therein. The attached drawings are simple drawings that merely illustrate the principle and technical nature of the present invention, so in fact it can be modified or improve similarly but not beyond the scope of the present invention as defined in the below claims.

[0020] As shown in from Fig. 3 to Fig. 5, the herbal essential oil producer 20 is configured to include: the body 21 formed with a long-closed rectangular box which forms the hollow space 22 inside the body 21, in which the body 21 formed with the first outlet 211 formed on the top face, the second outlet 212 formed on one side, the fitting outlet 213 formed on one end of the body 21, and the pair of the guiding rails 214 mounted on the two inner surfaces of the corresponding sides of the body 21 ; the blower box 23 fixed to one side of the body 21 and communicated to the hollow space 22 through the second outlet 212, the blower box 23 has the air intake hole 231 and the blower 232 arranged inside the blower box 23; the medicinal tray 24 inserted into the hollow space 22 from the fitting outlet 213 and is slid on the guiding rails 214 of the body 21 ; the thermal generating plate 25 operates as heat radiation plate, which installed inside the hollow space 22 from the fitting outlet 213 of the body 21 and located under the medicinal tray 24 to provide heat between 60°C and 90°C for the medicinal tray 24, in which the thermal generating plate 25 is electrically connected to the controller 40, the power supply 50 (not shown in the figure) to be controlled under the predetermined program; the herb essential oil dispenser 26 arranged on the top of the body 21 and connected to the body 21 through the first outlet 211, in which the herb essential oil dispenser 26 has a plurality of dividers 261.
[0021] As shown in Fig. 6, the herbal essential-oil conducting pipe and supply system 30 is composed of: the backrest essential-oil conducting pipe 31 having backrest essential-oil output 311 at its one end; the shoulder essential-oil conducting pipe 32 having a pair of shoulder essential-oil outputs 321 at its one end; the head essential-oil conducting pipe 33 having a head essential-oil output 331 at its one end; the pair of the armrest essential-oil conducting pipes 34 having a pair of armrest essential-oil outputs 341, respectively; the food essential-oil conducting pipe 35 having the food essential-oil output 351 at its one end; and connection box 36 to which all other ends of the essential-oil conducting pipes 31, 32, 33, 34, 35 connected. Wherein, the backrest essential- oil output 311, the pair of the shoulder essential-oil outputs 321, the pair of the armrest essential-oil outputs 341, and the pair of the food essential-oil outputs 351 are connected respectively to the outputs 17 of the backrest and headrest portion 12, the leg support portion 14 and the arm support portions 15. However, the present invention is not limit to the number and layout of the essential-oil conducting pipes 31, 32, 33, 34, 35 and the essential-oil outputs 311, 321, 331, 341, 351 of the essential oil conducting pipe and supply system 30. The number and configuration of the essential-oil conducting pipes and the essential-oil outputs may be more or less in other locations corresponding to acupuncture points in the human body.
[0022] And also as shown in Fig. 6, the other ends of the backrest essential-oil conducting pipe 31, the shoulder essential-oil conducting pipe 32, the head essential-oil conducting pipe 33, the pair of the armrest essential-oil conducting pipe 34, and the food essential-oil conducting pipe 35 connected respectively to the dividers 261 of the medicinal essential oil dispenser 26 of the herbal essential oil producer 20 through the connection box 36, whereby the essential oils produced from the herbal essential oil producer 20 may be guided into the human body through the essential oil conducting pipe and supply system 30.
[0023] According to the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the backrest essential-oil conducting pipe 31, the shoulder essential-oil conducting pipe 32, the head essential-oil conducting pipe 33, the pair of the armrest essential-oil conducting pipes 34, and the food essential-oil conducting pipe 35 of the essential oil conducting pipe and supply system 30 are made of soft material, such as silicon, and embedded in the chair body 10.
[0024] Moreover, according to the preferred embodiment, the herbal essential oil producer 20 also includes a temperature sensor 27 arranged inside the essential oil dispenser 26 for sensing the thermal zone which set the range from 37°C to 42°C (will be described in detail later).
[0025] In accordance with the present invention, the power supply 50 supplies a voltage of 24V for the operation of the chair 1, and the controller 40 is preprogrammed with the control program for controlling the blower 232, the thermal generating plate 25 and the temperature sensor 27.
[0026] According to the preferred embodiment, the sauna chair 1 of the present invention may be equipped with a control panel (not shown in the figure) on the pair of the arm support portions 15 to facilitate the use of the sauna chair 1 of the present invention.
[0027] The following is the operation principle of the sauna chair 1 will be described in detail through the steps and operations of the components.
[0028] The preparatory work includes steps: pulling the medicinal tray 24 sliding on the guiding rails 214 out of the hollow space 22 from the fitting outlet 213, then loading dry medicinal herbs with a predetermined amount according to each type of treatment into the medicinal tray 24; inserting the medicinal tray 24 into the hollow space 22 of the herbal essential oil producer 20; adjusting the seat position appropriately such that the user feels most comfortable and relaxed, preferably it should not use the sauna chair in a too cold room because the herbal heating process will be reduced, which causes power loss; and supplying power to the power supply 50 through the adapter (not shown in the figures).
[0029] The operation of the thermal generating plate 25 : the thermal generating plate 25 is powered by the power supply 50 through the control program of controller 40 to generate heat in the range from 60°C to 90°C for the medicinal tray 24, thereby the medicinal herbs inside the medicinal tray 24 which indirectly heated to produce hot vapor of herbal essential oil to be guided into the essential oil dispenser 26; the temperature sensor 27 senses the thermal zone set in the range between 37°C and 42°C inside the essential oil dispenser 26, in case the thermal zone inside the essential oil dispenser 26 is outside the predetermined temperature range from 37°C to 42°C, the controller 40 will turn on/off the power supply 50 powering to the thermal generating plate 25 and/or the blower 232.
[0030] The operation of the blower 232 is activated/stopped by the preprogrammed control of the controller 40; in details, the blower 232 will operate to blow the hot oil vapor from the herbal essential oil conducting pipe and supply system 30, and the blower 232 will stop operating after a predetermined time or the temperature in the area around the temperature sensor 27 is outside the pre-determined range from 37°C to 42°C.
[0031] The principle of treatment by the sauna chair 1 of the present invention: with a pre-determined temperature from 37°C to 42°C, it is the most suitable for dilating capillaries and pores, easily accessible into the system of chakras, acupuncture points and target organs on the body that need sauna, specifically at the positions of the plurality of the outputs 17 including the back, shoulders, head, arms and feet. The high quality and safety of the herbal essential oil produced by the sauna chair of the present invention will be diffused, absorbed and guided directly into parts of the human body so that the therapeutic and treatment effect is fast.

Claims

[CLAIMS]
[Claim 1]
A sauna chair with herbal essential oils (1) is configured to include a chair body (10), an herbal essential oil producer (20), an herbal essential oil conducting pipe and supply system (30), a controller (40), and a power supply (50), wherein:
the herbal essential oil producer (20) is configured to include: a body (21) formed with a long-closed rectangular box forming the hollow space (22) therein, wherein the body (21) formed with a first outlet (211) formed on the top surface, a second outlet (212) formed on one side, a fitting outlet (213) formed on one end of the body (21), and a pair of guiding rails (214) mounted on two inner surfaces of corresponding sides of the body (21); a blower box (23) fixed to one side of the body (21) and communicated to the hollow space (22) through the second outlet (212), wherein the blower box (23) has an air intake hole (231) and a blower (232) arranged inside the blower box (23); a medicinal tray (24) inserted into the hollow space (22) from the fitting outlet (213) and slides on the guiding rails (214); a thermal generating plate (25) operates as radiant heat plate which installed inside the hollow space (22) from the fitting outlet (213) and located under the medicinal tray (24) to provide heat between 60°C and 90°C for the medicinal tray (24); and a herb essential oil dispenser (26) disposed on the top of the body (21) and communicated to the body (21) through the first outlet (211), wherein the herb essential oil dispenser (26) has a plurality of dividers (261).
[Claim 2]
The sauna chair of claim 1, wherein the chair body (10) configured to include: a support frame (11); a backrest and headrest portion (12), a seat portion (13), a leg support portion (14), a pair of arm support portions (15) connected respectively by dynamic joints so that they can be rotated relatively to each other, and supported on the support frame (11); a seat reclining adjustment mechanism (16) disposed on the support frame (11); a plurality of outputs (17) disposed at the predetermined positions on the backrest and headrest portion (12), the leg support portion (14) and the arm support portions (15), the outputs 17 from which the medicinal essential oils penetrating enter the body of the person sitting on the chair (1).
[Claim 3]
The sauna chair of claim 2, wherein the rotary angle adjustment mechanism (16) is the hydraulic mechanism operated by the controller (40) for adjusting the postures of the backrest and headrest portion (12), the seat (13), the leg support portion (14), the arm support portions (15).

The sauna chair of claim 1, wherein the herbal essential-oil conducting pipe and supply system (30) configured to include: a backrest essential-oil conducting pipe (31) having a backrest essential-oil output (311) at its one end; a shoulder essential-oil conducting pipe (32) having a pair of shoulder essential-oil outputs (321) at its one end; a head essential-oil conducting pipe (33) having a head essential-oil output (331) at its one end; a pair of the armrest essential-oil conducting pipes (34) having a pair of the armrest essential-oil outputs (341), respectively; the food essential-oil conducting pipe (35) having the food essential-oil output (351) at its one end; and connection box (36) to which all essential-oil conducting pipes (31, 32, 33, 34, 35) connected, wherein, the backrest essential-oil output (311), the pair of the shoulder essential-oil outputs (321), the pair of the armrest essential-oil outputs (341), and the pair of the food essential-oil outputs (351) connected respectively to the outputs (17) of the backrest and headrest portion (12), the leg support portion (14) and the arm support portions (15).
[Claim 5]
The sauna chair of claim 4, wherein the other ends of the backrest essential-oil conducting pipe (31), the shoulder essential-oil conducting pipe (32), the head essential-oil conducting pipe (33), the pair of the armrest essential-oil conducting pipes (34), and the food essential-oil conducting pipe (35) connected respectively to the dividers (261) of the medicinal essential oil dispenser (26) of the herbal essential oil producer (20) through the connection box (36), whereby the essential oils produced from the herbal essential oils producer (20) to be guided into the human body through the essential oil conducting pipe and supply system (30) and the blower (232).
[Claim 6]
The sauna chair of claim 4 or 5, wherein the backrest essential-oil conducting pipe (31), the shoulder essential-oil conducting pipe (32), the head essential-oil conducting pipe (33), the pair of the armrest essential-oil conducting pipes (34), and the food essential-oil conducting pipe (35) of the essential oil conducting pipe and supply system (30) are made of soft material and embedded in the chair body (10).
[Claim 7]
The sauna chair of claim 1 , wherein the herbal essential oil producer (20) further includes a temperature sensor (27) arranged inside the essential oil dispenser (26) for sensing temperature of range from 37°C to 42°C under the program of the controller (40).
[Claim 8]
The sauna chair of any claims from 1 to 7, wherein the blower (232) blows the medicinal essential oils produced from the medicinal herbs inside the medicinal tray (24) going the backrest essential-oil conducting pipe (31), the shoulder essential-oil conducting pipe (32), the head essential-oil conducting pipe (33), the pair of the armrest essential-oil conducting pipes (34), and the food essential-oil conducting pipe (35) of the essential oil conducting pipe and supply system (30) through the essential oil dispenser (26) and outputting from the plurality of outputs (17), wherein the blower (232) starts/stops under the program of the controller (40).
