Abstract

The present invention relates to a smart wardrobe system and algorithm thereof that facilitates the necessity of dressing and that prevents time loss by automating combination making in daily life characterized in that it comprises of; control panel (1) that allows the user to record his/her belongings such as outfits, accessories, shoes into the system and that allows to make combinations without taking these items out of the wardrobe, LEDs (3) positioned on wardrobe doors or on hangers that indicate where items that the user is looking for are located within the wardrobe in consequence of confirming the combination made by the user, and a housing portion (4) that houses the tablet which can be used as control panel (1).

Description

SMART WARDROBE SYSTEM AND ALGORITHM THEREOF
Technical Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a smart wardrobe system and algorithm thereof that facilitates the necessity of dressing and that prevents time loss by automating combination making in daily life.
State of the Art
Generally, people are undecided while making choices about their clothing and accordingly they waste a lot of time while making combinations. For instance, assuming the fact that a person who possesses 20 t-shirts, 10 pants and 5 pairs of shoes can change clothes every 30 seconds, it takes approximately 8 hours for this person to try out all options. A situation such as this causes people to lose a lot of time.
Various inventions were exhibited for the purpose of eliminating abovementioned disadvantages in the state of the art.
The patent application bearing the number of TR201503766 in the state of the art discloses an interactive wardrobe that is capable of performing RFID-aided object recognition, positioning and making combinations. Said invention relates to a smart wardrobe system that utilizes smart tags (RFID) that can determine the specific characteristics of outfits and personal belongings, which combination goes well with these clothes and personal belongings as well as where clothes and belongings of the user are located within the wardrobe.
The patent application bearing the number of TR201603865 discloses a "Smart Combination App". Said invention relates to a smart combination app that can make customized outfit choices and that can prevent time loss by means of making everyday life routine more enjoyable and offering alternatives for special nights, meetings, parties as well as for activities/organizations by taking weather conditions into account.
The patent application bearing the number of TR201615259 discloses a "Mobile Application System that provides dressing management and coordination for people". Said invention relates to a mobile application system which users can operate by installing the application system to their smartphones or computers and by creating an account in the system, that allows its users to get opinions of other users by means of making combinations of users’ available clothes and potential clothes that they are considering to purchase and by displaying these combinations to other users, thus ensuring its users to come to a decision easily by wasting less time while shopping for outfits.
The patent application bearing the publication number of US2017011452 A1 discloses a "System and Network for Outfit Planning and Wardrobe Management". Said invention relates to system and a method thereof for managing a wardrobe and compiling outfits wherein said system comprises a computer memory, a computer processor and a plurality of electronic fashion combinations stored on the computer memory. The patent application bearing the publication number of W02014074072 A1 discloses a "Clothing Matching System and Method". Said invention provides a clothing matching system and a method thereof for generating at least an outfit suggestion comprising the steps of determining a color classification of a user, providing a plurality of articles of clothing, selecting a dress code based on the user preference.
In the hyperlink under the address of https://www.hackster.io/seevouu/smart-wardrobe- 5e6320 an invention called smart wardrobe is disclosed. Said invention provides assistance to users in managing their outfits within the wardrobe. In addition to an attached display, all data are stored on a cloud application and these data are synchronized with the mobile application. This relates to an application where users can receive suggestions regarding what they can wear within the day on the basis of smartphone application. In hyperlinks provided under the addresses of https://40plusstvle.com/organise-your- clothes-with-these-apps-and-online-managers/ and http://allthingsd.com/20130214/what-to-wear-apps-for-managing-your-closet'' various applications are provided in which users can upload their outfits. These applications provide a platform where users can upload their daily outfits and can make combinations accordingly.
Applications in which users can make virtual combinations were discussed in abovementioned applications and hyperlinks. However, said apps do not function in integration with a real wardrobe. Additionally, the fact that these apps cannot determine the location of outfits or accessories uploaded to system by the user constitutes a significant disadvantage. Consequently, there is a necessity for a novel technology that is capable of eliminating above mentioned disadvantages, that functions in integration with user's smartphone, computer or tablet, that shows the location of the item that the user is looking for, and that is easy to use and to set-up as well as time saving. Disclosure of the Invention
The present invention is a smart wardrobe system and algorithm thereof characterized in that it is a novel technology that can function in integration with user's smartphone, computer or tablet that shows the location of the item that the user is looking for, that is easy to use, time saving and easy to set up.
In order to achieve all objects both mentioned above and will be understood clearly from the detailed description provided below, the present invention prevents time loss as a consequence of facilitating the need of dressing by means of automating combination making in daily life. The inventive smart wardrobe system comprises an individual control panel which allows for displaying all clothes uploaded to the inventive smart wardrobe system. The user can make outfit combinations as he/she desires without taking clothes out of the wardrobe and can display accessories and shoes if recorded in the system. Furthermore, the user can determine whether the outfit combinations fitting to fashion trends or not after making outfit combinations of his/her desire. If the user likes the combination, then favored outfit combination can be located by means of lights positioned on each hanger and on each wardrobe door. Thus, the user can get the items he/she wants easily. Moreover, the inventive smart wardrobe system can offer outfit suggestions to the user depending on the daily weather forecast or can give notifications reminding the user to take his/her umbrella along.
The inventive smart wardrobe system and all advantages thereof will be understood clearly by means of the figures given below and the detailed description provided by making references to these figures, therefore, the evaluation of the inventive smart wardrobe system should be conducted by taking said figures and the detailed description into account.
Description of the Figures
The present invention will be disclosed by making references to annexed figures so that characteristics of the inventive smart wardrobe system can be understood and recognized clearly, however, the purpose herein is not to impose any restrictions or limitations on the present invention with specific embodiments. On the contrary, the aim herein is to ensure that the present invention comprises all alternatives, alterations and equivalents that can be involved within the scope defined by the annexed patent claims. It should be understood that details presented herein are provided for the disclosure of the preferred embodiments of the present invention and for the purpose of providing a description for embodiments of methods as well as for fundamentals and conceptual characteristics of the invention in the most practical and comprehensible manner. Description of the Invention
The present invention is comprised of control panel (1) that allows the user to record his/her belongings such as outfits, accessories, shoes into the system and that allows to make combinations without taking these items out of the wardrobe, LEDs (3) positioned on wardrobe doors or on hangers that indicate where items that the user is looking for are located within the wardrobe in consequence of confirming the combination made by the user, and a housing portion (4) that houses the tablet which can be used as control panel (1). The inventive smart wardrobe system utilizes Wi-Fi/Bluetooth connection (2) that allows the wardrobe to function in integration with smartphone, computer or tablet which can be used as the control panel (1).

Detailed Description of the Invention
The inventive smart wardrobe system is comprised of control panel (1), Wi- Fi/Bluetooth connection (2), LED (3), and housing portion (4).
The inventive smart wardrobe system has an individual control panel (1) on which all outfits and clothes that are recorded into the system can be displayed. Thus, requested clothes can be made into combinations on the system without taking clothes out of the wardrobe. Furthermore, accessories and shoes can also be displayed and made into combinations in the control panel (1) in case they are recorded into the system. After the combinations are made, artificial intelligence algorithm can determine whether the combination is fitting to fashion trends or not upon the user's request. Upon receiving confirmation from the user regarding the combination, the user is allowed to locate combination items by the aid of LEDs (3) positioned on each door and hanger. Moreover, the inventive smart wardrobe system can offer outfit suggestions to the user based on the daily weather forecast or give notifications reminding the user to lake his/her umbrella along by means of the artificial intelligence algorithm. In addition to these features, the user can utilize the housing portion (4) that allows him/her to store and restore the tablet which is used as the control panel (1) inside the wardrobe in case the user does not want this tablet to be visible from the outside. The inventive smart wardrobe system can be operated in integration with user's smartphone, computer or tablet by means of the Wi-Fi/Bluetooth connection (2) upon user's request.

Claims

CLAIMS 1- Smart wardrobe system and algorithm thereof characterized by comprising; - control panel (1) that allows the user to record his/her belongings such as outfits, accessories, shoes into the system and that allows to make combinations without taking these items out of the wardrobe, - LEDs (3) positioned on wardrobe doors or on hangers that indicate where items that the user is looking for are located within the wardrobe in consequence of confirming the combination made by the user, - and a housing portion (4) that allows for housing the tablet which can be used as control panel (1). 2- Smart wardrobe system and algorithm thereof according to Claim 1 characterized by comprising, Wi-Fi/Bluetooth connection (2) that allows the wardrobe to function in integration with smartphone, computer or tablet which is used as the control panel (1). 3- Smart wardrobe system and algorithm thereof according to Claim 1 characterized by comprising, artificial intelligence algorithm that can determine upon user's request whether the prepared combination is fitting to fashion trends or not and that can offer at least 3 standard combination suggestions daily by perceiving user's taste based on previous combinations made by the user accordingly. 4- Smart wardrobe system and algorithm thereof according to Claim 1 characterized by comprising, artificial intelligence algorithm that can perceive the color, fabric, and type (shirt, pants, t-shirt, jumper, etc.) of clothes at every clothing recorded into the system by utilizing image processing technology and that can categorize these clothes. 5- Smart wardrobe system and algorithm thereof according to Claim 1 characterized by comprising, housing portion (4) that allows the user to store and restore the tablet which is used as the control panel (1) inside the wardrobe in case the user does not want this tablet to be visible from the outside. 6- Smart wardrobe system and algorithm thereof characterized by comprising the process steps of; - communicating (10) control panel (1) having Wi-Fi/Bluetooth connection (2) with the wardrobe, - recording user's accessories or shoes into the system (20) through control panel
(1) that becomes integrated with wardrobe,
- making combinations (30) by means of the control panel (1) without taking items out of the wardrobe,
- evaluating whether the prepared combination is fitting to fashion trends and offering outfit suggestions depending on the daily weather forecast or making notifications (40) reminding the user to take his/her umbrella along by means of the artificial intelligence,
- confirming the combination (50) determined through the control panel (1),
- lighting LEDs (3) on wardrobe doors or hangers (60) on which items that the user is looking for are located for the purpose of indicating the location of confirmed combination to the user.
