Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for providing a fashion item recommendation service to a user by using a service server. Particularly, the method comprises the steps of: checking whether permission to acquire an image from a user device exists, and acquiring an image from which the user can be identified when the permission exists; generating a user fashion database by extracting a plurality of fashion items worn by the user from the image from which the user can be identified; combining the plurality of fashion items so as to search, in a style database including style images from which a style label expressing human feelings as computer-recognizable data is extracted, for an item similar to the specific fashion item on the basis of image similarity, when a recommendation service request for a specific fashion item stored in the created user fashion database is received; determining, to be a coordination item, an item of a category differing from that of the similar item from a style image from which the similar item is retrieved; and determining, to be a recommended product, a product similar to the coordination item on the basis of image similarity from a product database configured by indexing labels extracted from the contents of products.
