Description

A SYSTEM FOR EXCHANGE OF OPERATOR SUBSCRIBER RIGHTS
AMONG SUBSCRIBERS
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a system which enables to exchange rights of mobile network subscribers such as talk minute, short message transmission and mobile data usage that are granted to them by the operator where they get service from, with other subscribers getting service from the same operator.
Background of the Invention Today, mobile network users have rights such as talk, short message transmission and cellular data usage that are granted to them by operators upon purchasing or undertaking packages prepared by operators and including various services. Subscribers choose related packages according to their demands and needs; for example, a subscriber having high internet usage but less talk needs may prefer a package offering more internet quota and less talk minutes. Situations may occur such as subscribers use up some of their rights before the package renewal date due to various reasons however a certain part of the rights are available at the end of the package. Considering the studies and the deficiencies in the state of the art, it is understood that there is need for a system which enables to meet needs of parties through exchange of rights to be realized among subscribers by enabling to exchange rights of mobile network subscribers such as talk minute, short message transmission and mobile data usage that are granted to them by the operator where they get service from, with other subscribers getting service from the same operator.
The invention mentioned in the United States patent document no. US6424706, an application in the state of the art, discloses a system for enabling a subscriber to purchase unit minutes, to transfer these unit minutes to another subscriber, to purchase phone minutes instead of unit minutes, to pay the price for unit minutes and to use for various goods and services. The said invention provides a method for enabling subscribers to convert their minutes into money from any ATM or retail point-of-sale (POS) terminal and transfer it to their minute accounts. Within the relevant method, a debit card associated with his/her prepaid minute account is issued to the subscriber. The said card can be used to make purchases at any merchant’s POS terminal, to make cash withdrawals at an associated ATM terminal, to place orders over the telephone or to shop via online websites. In the relevant method, before the unit minutes are used via the debit card, the subscribers must transfer their unit minutes to a redemption bank account associated with a financial institution. The associated value of the transferred unit minutes is then accessible via the debit card. The unit minute transfers between the subscribers are performed by the sending subscriber calling a special telephone number associated with the telecommunication-switch and inputting the desired transaction, including the receiving subscriber’s identifier (phone number) and the amount of unit minutes to transfer. The unit minute system then performs the transfer transaction by subtracting the transferred unit minutes plus an associated transaction fee, if any, from the sending subscriber’s unit minute account.
Summary of the Invention
An objective of the present invention is to realize a system which enables to exchange rights of mobile network subscribers such as talk minute, short message transmission and mobile data usage that are granted to them by the operator where they get service from, with other subscribers getting service from the same operator.
Detailed Description of the Invention
“A System for Exchange of Operator Subscriber Rights Among Subscribers” realized to fulfil the objective of the present invention is shown in the figure attached, in which:

The inventive system (1) which enables to exchange rights of mobile network subscribers such as talk minute, short message transmission and mobile data usage that are granted to them by the operator where they get service from, with other subscribers getting service from the same operator comprises:
- at least one electronic device (2) which is configured to establish connection with a remote server by means of any remote communication protocol that it owns and to run at least one application on it; - at least one web-based application (3) which comprises at least one interface that is adapted to enable subscribers to generate their demands about exchange of right by realizing identity authentication safely, to generate the subscriber’s demand, to search for a specific demand for right offer, to present the exchange options offered about the subscriber’s demand to the subscribers over an image like a list;
- at least one subscriber right database (4) which is configured to ensure that the data about the rights granted by the operator to the subscriber who is demanded from the mobile network operator over the mobile device (2) upon the subscribers are triggered with a successful identity authentication transaction by accessing the web-based application (3);
- at least one subscriber demand database (5) which is configured to ensure that data about the subscribers’ exchange demands generated by means of the interface provided over the web-based application (3) are recorded such that they are they are matched with the GSM No of the subscriber;
- at least one server (6) which configured to carry out identity authentication transactions of the subscribers upon being triggered with the transactions carried out by the subscriber by means of the interface provided over the web-based application (3), to receive and process exchange demands, to enable data exchange by means of the communication established with the operator of the subscriber over the electronic device (2), ensure that the subscriber is informed over the electronic device (2) as a result of the transactions carried out.
The electronic device (2) included in the inventive system (1) is a device such as mobile phone, tablet computer, portable computer or desktop computer that is configured to run at least one application on it. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the electronic device (2) is configured to use a wireless data bus such as Internet. In a preferred embodiment, the electronic device (2) is configured to get service from a mobile communication network by means of a SIM card that it has. The electronic device (2) is configured to enable users to make data entry by means of an entry unit such as at least one keypad or touch screen that it has.
The web-based application (3) included in the inventive system (1) is configured to ensure that the electronic device (2) accesses a web portal by means of the communication protocol that it has, and the interface provided over the web portal is used. The web-based application (3) is configured to provide at least one interface that is adapted to enable subscribers to generate their demands about exchange of right by realizing identity authentication safely, to generate the subscriber’s demand, to search for a specific demand for right offer, to present the exchange options offered about the subscriber’s demand to the subscribers over an image like a list.
The subscriber right database (4) included in the inventive system (1) is configured to ensure that the data about the rights granted by the operator to the subscriber who is demanded from the mobile network operator over the mobile device (2) as a result of a successful identity authentication transaction by the subscribers accessing the web-based application (3).
The subscriber demand database (5) included in the inventive system (1) is configured to ensure that data about the subscribers’ exchange demands generated by means of the interface provided over the web-based application (3) are recorded.
The server (6) included in the inventive system (1) is configured to establish connection with the electronic device (2), the web-based application (3), the subscriber right database (4) and the subscriber demand database (5) over any remote communication protocol and to realize data exchange over this connection established. In one embodiment of the invention, the server (6) is configured to establish connection over a data network such as Internet and to realize data exchange over this connection established. The server (6) is configured to ensure that a password or code is sent to the subscriber by using an identity authentication method such as a single-use password over the electronic device
(2) in order to realize an identity authentication transaction upon being triggered with the entry demand of the subscriber by means of the interface provided over the web-based application (3). The server (6) is configured to ensure that the records matching with the combination that the related subscriber wants to exchange as a result of the query made in the subscriber right database (4) about the search transaction carried out by the subscriber, are shared with the subscriber over an image like a list by means of the interface provided over the web-based application (3). The server (6) is configured to perform control about the situation whether the subscriber has the right that s/he will give in return for the right to be right to be taken from the other subscriber by making a query on the subscriber right database (4) by receiving the subscriber’s demand for right exchange by means of the interface provided over the web-based application (3). The server (6) is configured to inform the subscriber and to update the data about the demand by means of the interface provided over the web-based application (3) in order to ensure that the demand information are updated when it is detected that the subscriber does not have the right that s/he will give in return for the right to be right to be taken from the other subscriber. The server (6) is configured to transfer the subscriber demand to the subscriber demand database (5) so as to be recorded by means of any remote communication protocol that it has in the event that the subscriber has the right that s/he will give in return for the right to be right to be taken from the other subscriber. The server (6) is configured to enable to determine the other party with whom exchange will be made by being triggered upon the subscriber makes a choice among the demands provided over an image like a list; to send a demand over the mobile device (2) to the party with whom it is aimed to realize exchange by using the GSM No recorded in the subscriber demand database (5) of the party with whom exchange will be made; to ensure that a password or code is sent to the subscriber to whom exchange will be made, by using an identity authentication method such as a single-use password over the electronic device (2) in order to realize an identity authentication transaction upon being triggered by receiving an approval about the demand sent to the party with whom exchange will be realized; to carry out the identity authentication transaction of the subscriber with whom exchange will be made by using the password or the code entered by using the interface that is provided over the web-based application (3) by the subscriber with whom exchange will be made; to provide information about the related exchange transaction to the mobile network operator of the subscriber over the electronic device (2) in order to provide the related exchange transaction by being triggered upon the subscriber with whom exchange will be realized enters the web-based application (3) by providing identity authentication and approves the demand sent about the related transaction. The server (6) is configured to provide information to the subscribers over the electronic device (2) about the exchange transaction by the information related to the realization status of the exchange transaction obtained from the mobile network operator.
It is possible to develop various embodiments of the inventive system (1); the invention cannot be limited to examples disclosed herein and it is essentially according to claims.

Claims

1. A system (1) which enables to exchange rights of mobile network subscribers such as talk minute, short message transmission and mobile data usage that are granted to them by the operator where they get service from, with other subscribers getting service from the same operator; comprising
- at least one electronic device (2) which is configured to establish connection with a remote server by means of any remote communication protocol that it owns and to run at least one application on it;
and characterized by
- at least one web-based application (3) which comprises at least one interface that is adapted to enable subscribers to generate their demands about exchange of right by realizing identity authentication safely, to generate the subscriber’s demand, to search for a specific demand for right offer, to present the exchange options offered about the subscriber’s demand to the subscribers over an image like a list;
- at least one subscriber right database (4) which is configured to ensure that the data about the rights granted by the operator to the subscriber who is demanded from the mobile network operator over the mobile device (2) upon the subscribers are triggered with a successful identity authentication transaction by accessing the web-based application (3);
- at least one subscriber demand database (5) which is configured to ensure that data about the subscribers’ exchange demands generated by means of the interface provided over the web-based application (3) are recorded such that they are they are matched with the GSM No of the subscriber;
- at least one server (6) which configured to carry out identity authentication transactions of the subscribers upon being triggered with the transactions carried out by the subscriber by means of the interface provided over the web-based application (3), to receive and process exchange demands, to enable data exchange by means of the communication established with the operator of the subscriber over the electronic device (2), ensure that the subscriber is informed over the electronic device (2) as a result of the transactions carried out.
2. A system (1) according to Claim 1; characterized by the electronic device (2) which is a device such as mobile phone, tablet computer, portable computer or desktop computer that is configured to run at least one application on it.
3. A system (1) according to Claim 1 or 2; characterized by the electronic device (2) which is configured to use a wireless data bus such as Internet.
4. A system (1) according to any of the preceding claims; characterized by the electronic device (2) which is configured to get service from a mobile communication network by means of a SIM card that it has.
5. A system (1) according to any of the preceding claims; characterized by the electronic device (2) which is configured to enable users to make data entry by means of an entry unit such as at least one keypad or touch screen that it has.
6. A system (1) according to any of the preceding claims; characterized by the web-based application (3) which is configured to ensure that the electronic device (2) accesses a web portal by means of the communication protocol that it has, and the interface provided over the web portal is used.

A system (1) according to any of the preceding claims; characterized by the web-based application (3) which is configured to provide at least one interface that is adapted to enable subscribers to generate their demands about exchange of right by realizing identity authentication safely, to generate the subscriber’s demand, to search for a specific demand for right offer, to present the exchange options offered about the subscriber’s demand to the subscribers over an image like a list.

A system (1) according to any of the preceding claims; characterized by the subscriber right database (4) which is configured to ensure that the data about the rights granted by the operator to the subscriber who is demanded from the mobile network operator over the mobile device (2) as a result of a successful identity authentication transaction by the subscribers accessing the web-based application (3).
9. A system (1) according to any of the preceding claims; characterized by the subscriber demand database (5) which is configured to ensure that data about the subscribers’ exchange demands generated by means of the interface provided over the web-based application (3) are recorded.

A system (1) according to any of the preceding claims; characterized by the server (6) which is configured to establish connection with the electronic device (2), the web-based application (3), the subscriber right database (4) and the subscriber demand database (5) over any remote communication protocol and to realize data exchange over this connection established.
11. A system (1) according to any of the preceding claims; characterized by the server (6) which is configured to establish connection over a data network such as Internet and to realize data exchange over this connection established.

A system (1) according to any of the preceding claims; characterized by the server (6) which is configured to ensure that a password or code is sent to the subscriber by using an identity authentication method such as a single-use password over the electronic device (2) in order to realize an identity authentication transaction upon being triggered with the entry demand of the subscriber by means of the interface provided over the web-based application

A system (1) according to any of the preceding claims; characterized by the server (6) which is configured to realize an identity authentication transaction by being triggered upon the subscriber makes data entry to any field wherein data entry is requested for the identity authentication that is provided on the interface provided over the web-based application (3) by the subscriber.

A system (1) according to any of the preceding claims; characterized by the server (6) which is configured to demand the data about the rights granted to subscriber by the operator from the mobile network operator over the electronic device (2) by being triggered upon the subscriber generates demand for right exchange by means of the interface provided over the web-based application (3) in the event that the identity authentication transaction is successful.

A system (1) according to any of the preceding claims; characterized by the server (6) which is configured to transfer the rights granted to subscriber by the operator from the mobile network operator, to the subscriber right database (4) by means of any remote communication protocol owned by it in order to record it.
16. A system (1) according to any of the preceding claims; characterized by the server (6) which is configured to enable the subscriber to make a search in order to make exchange of right with any combination by means of the interface provided over the web-based application (3).
17. A system (1) according to any of the preceding claims; characterized by the server (6) which is configured to make query on the subscriber demand database (5) by being triggered upon the subscriber makes search by means of the interface provided over the web-based application (3).

A system (1) according to any of the preceding claims; characterized by the server (6) which is configured to ensure that the records matching with the combination that the related subscriber wants to exchange as a result of the query made in the subscriber right database (4) about the search transaction carried out by the subscriber, are shared with the subscriber over an image like a list by means of the interface provided over the web-based application (3).

A system (1) according to any of the preceding claims; characterized by the server (6) which is configured to perform control about the situation whether the subscriber has the right that s/he will give in return for the right to be right to be taken from the other subscriber by making a query on the subscriber right database (4) by receiving the subscriber’s demand for right exchange by means of the interface provided over the web-based application (3).

A system (1) according to any of the preceding claims; characterized by the server (6) which is configured to inform the subscriber and to update the data about the demand by means of the interface provided over the web-based application (3) in order to ensure that the demand information are updated when it is detected that the subscriber does not have the right that s/he will give in return for the right to be right to be taken from the other subscriber.

A system (1) according to any of the preceding claims; characterized by the server (6) which is configured to transfer the subscriber demand to the subscriber demand database (5) so as to be recorded by means of any remote communication protocol that it has in the event that the subscriber has the right that s/he will give in return for the right to be right to be taken from the other subscriber.

A system (1) according to any of the preceding claims; characterized by the server (6) which is configured to make a query on the subscriber demand database (5) upon being triggered by the exchange demand of the subscriber by means of the interface provided over the web-based application (3) and to ensure that the records matching with the subscriber demand are shared with the subscriber over an image like a list over the web-based application (3).

A system (1) according to any of the preceding claims; characterized by the server (6) which is configured to enable to determine the other party with whom exchange will be made by being triggered upon the subscriber makes a choice among the demands provided over an image like a list; to send a demand over the mobile device (2) to the party with whom it is aimed to realize exchange by using the GSM No recorded in the subscriber demand database (5) of the party with whom exchange will be made; to ensure that a password or code is sent to the subscriber to whom exchange will be made, by using an identity authentication method such as a single-use password over the electronic device (2) in order to realize an identity authentication transaction upon being triggered by receiving an approval about the demand sent to the party with whom exchange will be realized; to carry out the identity authentication transaction of the subscriber with whom exchange will be made by using the password or the code entered by using the interface that is provided over the web-based application (3) by the subscriber with whom exchange will be made; to provide information about the related exchange transaction to the mobile network operator of the subscriber over the electronic device (2) in order to provide the related exchange transaction by being triggered upon the subscriber with whom exchange will be realized enters the web-based application (3) by providing identity authentication and approves the demand sent about the related transaction.

A system (1) according to any of the preceding claims; characterized by the server (6) which is configured to provide information to the subscribers over the electronic device (2) about the exchange transaction by the information related to the realization status of the exchange transaction obtained from the mobile network operator.
