Abstract
L'invention concerne un système de télémétrie électromagnétique (EMT). Un sous-ensemble émetteur-récepteur de fond de trou est couplé à un outil de fond de trou. Le sous-ensemble émetteur-récepteur de fond de trou et l'outil de fond de trou sont positionnés dans un puits de forage ayant un tubage s'étendant le long d'une longueur du puits de forage. Le sous-ensemble émetteur-récepteur de fond de trou transmet des données en provenance de l'outil de fond de trou en faisant passer un courant à travers le tubage pour rayonner des champs électromagnétiques. Un sous-ensemble émetteur-récepteur de trou vers le haut est disposé au niveau du trou vers le haut par rapport au sous-ensemble émetteur-récepteur de fond de trou. Le sous-ensemble émetteur-récepteur de trou vers le haut a pour fonction de mesurer les champs électromagnétiques. Les champs électromagnétiques mesurés sont décodés pour obtenir les données provenant de l'outil de fond de trou.
