Abstract
The present invention relates to a system (1) which enables to gather verified biometric data on non-biometric data entries made from devices and applications that can gather biometric data, process these data in order to develop a central common biometric profile and ensures that the common biometric profile developed can be used in devices and applications that accept biometric data entry.
Description
A SYSTEM FOR CREATING A COMMON BIOMETRIC PROFILE
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a system enables to gather verified biometric data on non-biometric data entries made from devices and applications that can gather biometric data, process these data in order to develop a central common biometric profile and ensures that the common biometric profile developed can be used in devices and applications that accept biometric data entry.
Background of the Invention
Today, various biometric data are used about the users when they are required to log in to take action on user devices, web pages, mobile applications. These biometric data are distinctive physiological characteristics such as tone of voice, fingerprint, palms map, iris. Due to the fact that biometric data provided by a user are used during logins performed by biometric data, they are less secure than logins performed by non-biometric data such as user name and user password. In order that biometric solutions can operate, the user has to provide the biometric data to the related system at first. For example, the user can enter the biometric data before using the system. The user has to photograph his/her face from different angles at first in a system that is logged in by face recognition. The user has to introduce his/her fingerprint to the system a few times at first in a system that is logged in by fingerprint. As another method, the system gathers biometric data from the user while the user uses the system normally and when these data reach a certain saturation, they are used in biometric logins. However, biometric data cannot be updated because the installation step is carried out only one time in current studies and applications. For example, when a user -whose sound data was made during childhood- grows up, s/he has to update the current biometric profile.
Considering the studies and the deficiencies in the existing technology, it is understood that there is need for a system which enables to create a biometric profile by gathering the data required for the biometric profile while the user does not perform any biometric login and to update the created profile continuously by data entries.
