In the inventive diode power detector of microwave signals, including a metal housing connected to the input and output coaxial connectors, between which are a dielectric plate with a matching circuit located on it, made using thin-film passive elements, the output of which is connected to the first output of a semiconductor low-barrier diode made on a gallium arsenide substrate, the second output of which is connected to a low-pass filter formed by a capacitor and the first resistor, the second output of which is connected to the central conductor of the output coaxial connector, according to the proposed solution, a hermetic input is introduced, which is connected between the input coaxial connector and the matching circuit, which introduced two parallel-connected circuits in a microstrip design, containing a second resistor and an adjustable inductance closed to the housing, and a third resistor connected in series in front of the diode, while od has breakdown negative voltage of at least 4 V, junction capacitance of not more than 50 fF and video resistance in the range from 0.7 kOhm to 2.5 kOhm, direct loss resistance of not more than 40 Ohm.
In the particular case, the diode can be turned on in the forward or reverse direction.

3. The claimed invention is illustrated by drawings, which show: in FIG. 1 is a top view of the device, in FIG. 2 is a section AA of the device of FIG. 1, in FIG. 3 is a section BB of the device of FIG. 1, showing an example of its specific implementation; in FIG. 4 is an equivalent circuit diagram of the device of FIG. 3.
In a microwave signal power diode detector (Figs. 1 and 2), the housing 1 is connected to an input coaxial connector 2, the output of which is connected to those located in the housing 1 through a pressure seal 3 with a matching circuit located on the dielectric plate 4, to the output of which a diode 5 is connected in series and a low-pass filter including a capacitor 6 and a first resistor 7 (Fig. 3, Fig. 4). The capacitor 6 is closed to the housing, the first resistor 7 is located on the dielectric plate 8, while the second terminal of the first resistor 7 is connected to the central conductor of the output coaxial connector 9 using a welding wire 10, which is connected to the housing 1. The matching circuit is made in the form of two parallel connected circuits, each of which contains a second resistor 11 and an adjustable inductance 12 connected in series, and a third resistor 13 connected in series to a diode 5, using a microstrip transmission line 14. The adjustable inductance 12 is made in the form of three welding procrastination. In FIG. 4, the second resistor 11 and the adjustable inductance 12 of the two circuits are indicated by equivalent resistor 15 and inductance 16, respectively. A resistance 17 and an external load capacitor 18 are connected in parallel to the output of the device, forming the equivalent resistance and load capacity, respectively, connected to the output connector of the detector.
The device operates as follows. The high-frequency signal through the input coaxial connector 2 is fed to the input of the detector. Part of the energy is dissipated at the equivalent resistor 15 and inductance 16, the rest of the energy is supplied through the third resistor 13 to the diode 5, where the non-linear conversion of the negative half-periods of the input signal occurs, and a detected signal of negative polarity is released at the load of the detector 17. In this case, the capacitor 6, the first resistor 7, the resistance 17 and the capacity 18 of the external load, perform the function of a low-pass filter, limiting the high-frequency components of the output signal.
The amplitude of the output voltage of the inventive detector is proportional to the power level of the input microwave signal. When you turn on the cathode of the diode 5 to the matching circuit, and the anode to the low-pass filter, the negative half-waves of the input signal are detected and the output signal of negative polarity is formed. When the diode is turned on in the opposite direction, an output signal of positive polarity is achieved.
The inventive detector operates in the frequency range from 10 MHz to 50 GHz. With increasing frequency of the input signal, the equivalent resistance of the semiconductor diode 5 decreases due to a decrease in the reactance of the capacitance of its transition. This leads to an increase in the VSWR detector. The inductance reactance increases with increasing signal frequency. Through the use of an adjustable matching circuit the inductance 12, the equivalent resistance of the diode 5 is compensated. The adjustable inductance 12 is made in the form of parallel-connected welding wires connecting the second resistors 11 to the housing 1, allows you to change the equivalent inductance 16 by pressing part of the wire from the short side to the plane with zero potential, providing correction VSWR in the device.
