Abstract

The present invention is provided with a currency deposit unit 10a and a separation unit 10b. The separation unit 10b is provided with: a stopper 174 which restricts the conveyance of coins K being conveyed to the currency deposit unit 10a if a leading coin K among the coins K makes contact with the stopper 174 in a state of protruding further rearward than a rear end part of an upper-side tensioned portion 12a of a currency deposit belt 12; a left and right pair of separation belts 172 which are endlessly tensioned between a front and back pair of separation pulleys 171 in a gradually downward inclining manner toward the rear; and separation pins 173 extending in the left-right direction and set across the separation belts 172. When the separation belts 172 are displaced in the extension direction thereof by the rotation of the separation pulleys 171, the separation pins 173 press against the leading coin K making contact with the stopper 174 and separate the leading coin K from the other coin Ks, and the separated coin K is conveyed while being sandwiched against an auxiliary conveyor belt 182 which inclines gradually downward toward the rear.

Description

Coin separator
The present invention relates to a coin separating device, and more particularly to a coin separating device that supplies a plurality of deposited coins in a separated state.
Conventionally, for example, a coin processing machine applied as a change machine is provided for each denomination by automatically taking in the coin identified as a true coin after identifying the authenticity and denomination of the coin inserted into the deposit port. Store in the coin storage box. Further, the coin processing machine dispenses coins stored in the coin storage box to the dispensing port as coins of a required amount of coins in response to a change dispensing request from an external device or the like.
The coin processing machine has a coin separating device that supplies the deposited coins in a state where they are separated one by one. In the coin separating device, a rotary body having a plurality of coin passage holes is stored in a bottomed cylindrical rotary body storage portion so as to be rotatable about a central axis. This coin separating device guides coins to a rotary storage unit and supplies coins that have passed through the coin passage holes one by one from a supply port formed in the rotary body storage unit (for example, refer to Patent Document 1).
Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2018-92609
However, since the coin separating device guides coins to the rotary storage unit and supplies the coins that have passed through the coin passage holes of the rotating rotating body one by one from the supply port, the coins to be guided to the rotary storage unit are If the coin cannot pass smoothly through the coin passage hole, the time required for separating the coins becomes long as a result.
In view of the above situation, an object of the present invention is to provide a coin separating device that can reduce the time required for separating coins.
In order to achieve the above object, a coin separating device according to the present invention includes a first belt stretched endlessly between a pair of front and rear first pulleys in such a manner as to incline upward gradually toward the rear. The rotation of the first pulley causes the upper stretched portion of the first belt to be displaced rearward, thereby placing a plurality of deposited coins on the upper stretched portion so as not to overlap each other. A coin separating device comprising: a depositing unit for transporting the coins backward and a separating unit for supplying the coins transported by the depositing unit in a separated state, wherein the separating unit is the depositing unit. Among the coins conveyed to the first coin, when the first coin comes into contact with itself in a state of protruding rearward from the rear end portion of the upper side stretched portion of the first belt, the coin is irrelevant regardless of the displacement of the first belt. Between the pair of front and rear second pulleys and a pair of left and right second belts stretched endlessly in a manner of gradually inclining rearward, and extending along the left-right direction. And a pin member provided between the second belts, and the pin member abuts on the stopper when the second belt is displaced along the extending direction by the rotation of the second pulley. It is characterized in that the leading coin is pressed to be separated from other coins, and the separated coin is fed by being pinched and conveyed by a third belt which is gradually inclined downward toward the rear.
The present invention is also characterized in that, in the coin separating device, the displacement of the second belt is synchronized with the displacement of the conveying member at the destination of the separated coins.
According to the present invention, when the first coin among the coins conveyed to the depositing unit comes into contact with itself in a state of projecting rearward from the rear end of the upper stretched portion of the first belt, A pair of left and right second belts stretched endlessly between the pair of front and rear second pulleys and a stopper that regulates the conveyance of coins regardless of the displacement of the first belt, and is gradually inclined downward toward the rear. And a pin member that extends in the left-right direction and is installed between the second belts, and the second belt is displaced by the rotation of the second pulley, so that the pin member is Since the leading coin abutting the stopper is pressed to separate it from other coins, and the separated coin is fed by being sandwiched and conveyed by the third belt which gradually inclines downward and backward, As compared with the case of passing through the coin passing hole of the rotating rotating body, it is possible to reduce the time required for separating the coins.

The coin processing machine 1 exemplified here is applied as a change machine, for example, and is configured to include a coin separating device 10, a coin checking device 20, a coin transporting device 30, and a coin storing device 40.
The coin separating device 10 supplies the coins deposited through the deposit port 2 in a state where they are separated one by one. The configuration of the coin separating device 10 will be described later.
The coin inspection device 20 discriminates the authenticity and denomination of the coins supplied from the coin separating device 10 and sends out the true coins to the coin carrying device 30, while sending out the false coins to a payout unit (not shown). Is. This payout unit sends out coins paid out to itself to the pay-out section 3 and pays it out from a coin payout outlet 4 provided in the pay-out section 3.
The configuration of the coin inspection device 20 will be described. The coin coin checking device 20 includes a carrying pulley 21, a carrying belt 22, and a carrying member 23.
The transport pulleys 21 are installed in a front and rear pair. The transport pulley 21a on the front side is linked to an output shaft of a transport motor (not shown). The front-side transport pulley 21a is a drive pulley that is driven by the transport motor and rotates about its own central axis as its axis. The transport pulley 21a on the front side rotates counterclockwise when viewed from the left by being applied with the driving force of the transport motor.
The conveyor belt 22 is configured to have a left-side conveyor belt 22L and a right-side conveyor belt 22R that are paired on the left and right, and are endlessly stretched between the conveyor pulleys 21. Such a conveyor belt 22 is displaced along its extending direction by the rotation of the conveyor pulley 21a on the front side. More specifically, the transport belt 22 is displaced in such a manner that the upper stretched portion faces rearward and the lower stretched portion faces forward as the transport pulley 21a on the front side rotates.
The rear-side transport pulley 21b, which is linked to the front-side transport pulley 21a via the transport belt 22, is rotated by the front-side transport pulley 21a so that the rear-side transport pulley 21b is counter-rotated with the center axis of the rear-side transport pulley 21a. Rotate clockwise. That is, the rear-side transport pulley 21b is a driven pulley that rotates according to the rotation of the front-side transport pulley 21a.
A plurality of the transport members 23 are provided, and each of the transport members 23 straddles the pair of left and right transport belts 22 and is provided at equal intervals along the extending direction of the transport belt 22.
In such a coin inspection device 20, the transporting motor is driven to rotate the transporting pulley 21a on the front side, and the transporting belt 22 is displaced along the extending direction. When coins are supplied from the coin separating device 10, the conveying member 23 moving rearward due to the displacement of the conveying belt 22 comes into contact with the coins and moves the coins rearward. During the movement, the discrimination section 24 discriminates the authenticity and denomination of the coin. Then, the coin discriminated as a true coin is paid out to the delivery port 25 and is delivered to the coin transporting device 30 through the delivery port 25 while being moved backward. On the other hand, the coin discriminated as a counterfeit coin is dropped downward through the counterfeit coin opening 26, the transport member 23 moving forward contacts the coin, and the coin is moved forward to dispense unit. To send to.
The coin transfer device 30 transfers the coins (genuine coins) sent from the coin inspection device 20 along the transfer path, sorts them by denomination, and supplies them to the coin storage device 40. The coin storage device 40 stores coins for each denomination and dispenses coins to the dispensing unit 3 in response to a dispensing command.
FIG. 4 is a perspective view showing a main part of the coin separating device 10 shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, and FIG. 5 is a coin check device showing a main part of the coin separating device 10 shown in FIGS. 2 and 3. It is sectional drawing shown with the principal part of 20.
As shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the coin separating device 10 includes a depositing unit 10a and a separating unit 10b. The deposit unit 10a supplies the coins deposited through the deposit port 2 to the separation unit 10b.
The depositing unit 10a includes a depositing pulley (first pulley) 11, a depositing belt (first belt) 12, and a depositing reverse roller 13.
The depositing pulleys 11 are installed in a front and rear pair, and the depositing pulley 11a on the rear side is arranged above the depositing pulley 11b on the front side. The depositing pulley 11a on the rear side is linked to the output shaft of the depositing unit motor 14 via a linking member 15. The money depositing pulley 11a on the rear side is a drive pulley that is driven by the money depositing unit motor 14 to rotate about its own central axis. The depositing pulley 11a on the rear side is rotated counterclockwise when viewed from the left by being applied with the driving force of the depositing unit motor 14.
The deposit belt 12 is stretched endlessly between the deposit pulleys 11. More specifically, it is stretched endlessly in such a manner that it gradually inclines upward toward the rear. Such a deposit belt 12 is displaced in the extending direction thereof by the rotation of the deposit pulley 11a on the rear side by the drive of the deposit unit motor 14. That is, the deposit belt 12 is displaced in such a manner that the upper tensioned portion 12a is directed rearward as the deposit pulley 11a on the rear side rotates. The front depositing pulley 11b linked to the rear depositing pulley 11a via the depositing belt 12 is rotated by the rear depositing pulley 11a so as to be opposite from the left side with its central axis as an axis. Rotate clockwise. That is, the front-side deposit pulley 11b is a driven pulley that rotates in accordance with the rotation of the rear-side deposit pulley 11a.
The deposit reverse roller 13 is arranged above the upper stretched portion 12a of the deposit belt 12. The deposit reverse roller 13 is linked to the rear deposit pulley 11a via the linking member 15 and rotates around its own axis as the rear deposit pulley 11a rotates. Due to the displacement of the deposit belt 12, the depositing reverse roller 13 comes into contact with coins in a state in which a plurality of coins are superposed on the upper stretched portion 12a, so that the coins do not overlap each other on the upper stretched portion 12a. It is intended to be placed.
The separation unit 10b includes a guide mechanism section 16, a separation mechanism section 17, and an auxiliary transport section 18. The holding guide shaft portion 162a constitutes the front end portion of the coin holding guide 162, and is pivotally supported by the guide body 161. The holding guide acting portion 162b is a portion extending rearward from the holding guide shaft portion 162a.
In the normal state, such a coin holding guide 162 is gradually biased rearward on an extension line on the rear side of the upper stretched portion 12a of the deposit belt 12 by being biased by a biasing means (not shown). The posture is such that it tilts upward. The coin holding guide 162 can swing downward about the holding guide shaft portion 162a.
The coin pressing guide 163 is provided near the opening on the upper surface of the guide body 161. The coin pressing guide 163 is a plate-like member extending along the front-rear direction and has a pressing guide shaft portion 163a and a pressing guide action portion 163b.
The pressing guide shaft portion 163a constitutes a rear end portion of the coin pressing guide 163, and is pivotally supported by a support member (not shown). The pressing guide acting portion 163b is a portion extending forward from the pressing guide shaft portion 163a. The pressing guide acting portion 163b is bent upward while extending.
The separation mechanism portion 17 is arranged rearward of the guide mechanism portion 16 and separated from the guide mechanism portion 16, and includes a separation pulley (second pulley) 171, a separation belt (second belt) 172, and a separation belt. A pin (pin member) 173 and a stopper 174 are provided.
The separation pulleys 171 are installed in a front and rear pair, and the front separation pulley 171a is arranged above the rear separation pulley 171b. The separation pulley 171b on the rear side is linked to the carry motor through a linking means (not shown). The separation pulley 171b on the rear side is a drive pulley that is driven by the conveyance motor to rotate about its own central axis as its axis. The separation pulley 171b on the rear side rotates clockwise when viewed from the left by being applied with the driving force of the conveyance motor.
The separation belt 172 is configured to have a left-side separation belt 172L and a right-side separation belt 172R that are a pair of left and right, and are endlessly stretched between the separation pulleys 171. More specifically, it is stretched endlessly in such a manner that it is gradually inclined downward toward the rear. Such a separation belt 172 is displaced along the extending direction thereof by the rotation of the separation pulley 171b on the rear side. More specifically, the separation belt 172 is displaced in such a manner that the lower tension portion 172b faces rearward while the upper tension portion 172a faces forward by the rotation of the rear separation pulley 171b.
As described above, since the separation pulley 171b on the rear side is rotated by the drive of the transport motor, the displacement of the separation belt 172 is synchronized with the displacement of the transport belt 22, that is, the displacement of the transport member 23.
The front separation pulley 171a, which is linked to the rear separation pulley 171b through the separation belt 172, rotates from the rear separation pulley 171b, and when viewed from the left with the center axis of the front separation pulley 171a as the axis. Rotate around. That is, the separation pulley 171a on the front side is a driven pulley that rotates according to the rotation of the separation pulley 171b on the rear side.
A plurality (two in the illustrated example) of separating pins 173 are provided and extend along the left-right direction. The separation pins 173 are installed between the separation belts 172 in a state of being separated from each other, and are displaced according to the displacement of the separation belt 172.
The stopper 174 is formed by bending a sheet metal or the like, and is installed between the separation pulleys 171a on the front side. The stopper 174 is provided with an abutting portion 174a facing the opening on the rear surface of the guide body 161, on the extension line on the rear side of the upper side stretched portion 172a of the deposit belt 12.

The auxiliary transport pulleys 181 are installed in a front and rear pair, and the front auxiliary transport pulley 181a is disposed above the rear auxiliary transport pulley 181b. The front side auxiliary transport pulley 181a is obliquely above the rear side of the money depositing pulley 11a on the rear side, and is partially disposed between the coin holding guides 162.
The auxiliary transport pulley 181b on the rear side is linked to the transport motor through a linking means (not shown). The auxiliary transport pulley 181b on the rear side is a drive pulley that is driven by the transport motor to rotate about its own central axis as its axis. The auxiliary transport pulley 181b on the rear side rotates counterclockwise when viewed from the left side by being applied with the driving force of the transport motor.
The auxiliary conveyance belt 182 is stretched endlessly between the auxiliary conveyance pulleys 181. More specifically, it is stretched endlessly in such a manner that it is gradually inclined downward toward the rear, and the upper stretched portion 182a is substantially parallel to the lower stretched portion 172b of the separation belt 172. It is located in. Such an auxiliary transport belt 182 is displaced along the extending direction of the auxiliary transport pulley 181b on the rear side as it rotates. More specifically, the auxiliary transport belt 182 is displaced in such a manner that the upper stretched portion 182a moves rearward as the auxiliary transport pulley 181b on the rear side rotates.
As described above, since the auxiliary transport pulley 181b on the rear side is rotated by the drive of the transport motor, the displacement of the auxiliary transport belt 182 is synchronized with the displacement of the separation belt 172 and the displacement of the transport member 23.
The front auxiliary transport pulley 181a, which is linked to the rear auxiliary transport pulley 181b via the auxiliary transport belt 182, rotates leftward about its own central axis as a result of rotation of the rear auxiliary transport pulley 181b. It rotates counterclockwise as seen from the above. That is, the front side auxiliary transport pulley 181a is a driven pulley that rotates according to the rotation of the rear side auxiliary transport pulley 181b.
The coin separating device 10 having the above configuration can supply the coins deposited in the following manner to the coin checking device 20 in a state where the coins are separated one by one.
As the deposit belt 12 is displaced and the deposit reverse roller 13 is rotated by the drive of the deposit unit motor 14, as shown in FIG. 6, the upper stretched portion 12a of the deposit belt 12 is arranged so that the coins K do not overlap each other. Place it on and transport it backwards. In a normal state, the coin holding guide 162 in the guide mechanism portion 16 is in a posture in which it gradually inclines upward toward the rear on the extension line on the rear side of the upper stretched portion 12a of the deposit belt 12, so The coin K conveyed to the upper stretched portion 12a of the belt 12 is allowed to move rearward as it is.
As shown in FIG. 7, when the frontmost coin K, which is the rearmost coin K transported by the depositing unit 10a, comes into contact with the contact portion 174a of the stopper 174, the transfer of the coin K is stopped. To do. In other words, the stopper 174 conveys the coin K regardless of the displacement of the deposit belt 12 when the leading coin K comes into contact with itself in a state of protruding rearward from the rear end of the upper stretched portion 12a of the deposit belt 12. Regulate. In this way, even when the leading coin K comes into contact with the contact portion 174a, the posture of the coin K can be maintained by the coin pressing guide 163.
Then, when the leading coin K abuts on the abutting portion 174a of the stopper 174, the separating belt 172 and the auxiliary conveying belt 182 are displaced in synchronization with the displacement of the conveying member 23 by driving the conveying motor. As a result, as shown in FIG. 8, the separating pin 173, which is displaced together with the separating belt 172, comes into contact with the upper surface of the leading coin K and presses the coin K downward.
In this way, when the separating pin 173 presses the leading coin K, as shown in FIG. 9, the coin holding guide 162 swings downward against the biasing force of the biasing means and the coin pressing The guide 163 swings upward. Thereby, the leading coin K can be separated from the other coins K.
As shown in FIG. 10, the leading coin K separated in this manner is sandwiched between a separation pin 173 that is displaced together with the separation belt 172 and an auxiliary conveyance belt 182 that is displaced in synchronization with the separation pin 173. Then, the coins are conveyed and supplied to the coin inspection machine 20, as shown in FIG. The coin K supplied to the coin inspection device 20 is conveyed rearward by the conveying member 23.
As described above, according to the coin separating device 10 according to the embodiment of the present invention, the leading coin K of the coins K conveyed by the depositing unit 10a so that the stopper 174 does not overlap each other is the depositing belt 12. When abutting on itself in a state of projecting rearward from the rear end of the upper side stretched portion 12a, the conveyance of the coin K is regulated regardless of the displacement of the deposit belt 12, and the separation belt 172 is rotated to cause the separation belt 172 to rotate. By being displaced along the extending direction, the separating pin 173 presses the leading coin K that abuts against the stopper 174 to separate it from other coins K, and the separated coin K is gradually moved downward toward the rear. Since it is supplied by sandwiching it with the auxiliary conveyor belt 182 inclined to the front, the time required for separating the coin K is shortened as compared with the case of passing through the coin passage hole of the rotating body as in the related art. Can be planned.
Moreover, conventionally, the coins conveyed in the deposit unit are stacked in the coin storage portion so that they are not overlapped with each other, so that the coins that have not been overlapped with each other are overlapped in the coin storage portion. In the above coin separating device 10, the leading coin K among the coins K conveyed so as not to overlap each other by the depositing unit 10a is separated from the other coins K and supplied. Therefore, there is no waste in the form of carrying the coin K, and the shortening of the carrying time is more remarkable.
Further, according to the coin separating device 10, since the displacement of the separating belt 172 and the displacement of the auxiliary conveying belt 182 are synchronized with the displacement of the conveying member 23 of the coin checking device 20, the coins separated and supplied. The K can be delivered and received smoothly, and the transfer time can be shortened.
The preferred embodiment of the present invention has been described above, but the present invention is not limited to this, and various modifications can be made.
The guide mechanism unit 16 is provided in the above-described embodiment, but in the present invention, the guide mechanism may not be provided as long as the posture of the coin conveyed by the depositing unit can be maintained.
Further, in the present invention, as shown in FIG. 11, an attitude control flapper 19 for controlling the attitude of the coin K may be provided in the area where the coin K is supplied to the coin inspection device 20. The attitude control flapper 19 controls the attitude of the coin K, so that the coin K can be delivered in a stable manner and the occurrence of defective conveyance of the coin K in the coin inspection device 20 can be suppressed. ..
