At least the following matters will be made clear by the present specification and the description of the accompanying drawings.
An absorbent body, a skin side sheet disposed on the skin side of the absorber in the thickness direction, and a non-skin side of the absorber, which include a longitudinal direction, a width direction, and a thickness direction orthogonal to each other. And a non-skin side sheet that is provided on both sides of the absorber in the width direction, and has side sheets that are separate from the skin side sheet and the non-skin side sheet. The side sheet has a skin-side folded-back portion that is folded back to the skin side from an outer end in the width direction, and a non-skin-side folded portion that is folded back to the non-skin side. The tip of the portion is joined to the skin side of the skin-side sheet by a pair of skin-side joints along the longitudinal direction, and the tip of the non-skin-side folded-back portion is the thickness direction. Between the absorber and the non-skin side sheet, in the longitudinal direction The non-skin side sheet is joined to the non-skin side sheet by a pair of non-skin side joint portions, and the non-skin side joint portion is the first non-skin side provided on the front side portion in front of the central portion in the longitudinal direction. Of the joint portion, the second non-skin side joint portion provided on the rear side portion on the rear side of the central portion, and at least the first non-skin side joint portion and the second non-skin side joint portion. And a third non-skin side joint portion provided between the third non-skin side joint portion, the first non-skin side joint portion and the second non-skin side joint portion. It is an absorbent article characterized by being located inside.
According to such an absorbent article, in the crotch part of the wearer, the side sheet is compressed inward in the width direction, and is deformed so as to stand up on the skin side starting from the third non-skin side joint portion. A leak wall is formed. By deforming the side sheets provided on both sides in the width direction, it is possible to soften the contact of the wearer with the groin area on the skin and to prevent lateral leakage of excrement by the leak preventive wall. In addition, since the skin-side sheet and the side sheet are separate members, the movement of excrement is easily restricted by the joint (step) between the skin-side sheet and the side sheet, and side leakage of excrement is more easily suppressed. ..
In such an absorbent article, it is desirable that an outer end of the third non-skin side joint section is located inside a tip of the skin side folded section in the width direction.
According to such an absorbent article, on the non-skin side, when the side sheet is bent and deformed from the outer end of the third non-skin side joint portion as a starting point, the entire skin side folded portion on the skin side stands up on the skin side. It becomes easy to deform like. Thereby, the leak preventive wall is formed sufficiently high, and it is possible to more easily suppress the lateral leak.
In such an absorbent article, it is desirable that the side sheet has a portion in which two or more sheet members are laminated.
According to such an absorbent article, the strength of the side sheet can be increased in the portion where two or more sheet members are laminated, and excrement can be made difficult to penetrate. Thereby, when the side sheet stands up as a leak preventive wall, the movement of the excrement to the outside in the width direction is restricted, and the side leakage can be more easily suppressed.
In such an absorbent article, it is desirable that the side sheet has a two-layer structure in which one sheet member is folded back and laminated at the tip of the skin side folding portion.
According to such an absorbent article, since the edge of the sheet member that constitutes the side sheet (edge portion) is not exposed at the tip of the skin-side folded portion, the edge portion of the sheet member touches the wearer's skin. It is possible to suppress the bite. This softens the skin contact at the tip of the skin-side folded-back portion, and makes it difficult for the wearer to feel discomfort.
In the absorbent article, the side sheet has a portion in which the sheet members are laminated, and a portion in which the sheet members are not joined, in a portion where the sheet members are laminated, Is desirable.
According to such an absorbent article, a void is formed in a portion where the sheet members that form the side sheet are not joined to each other, and thus the void can restrict movement of excrement. That is, since the excretion part (liquid) hardly penetrates into the side sheet, it is possible to more easily suppress the lateral leakage of excrement.
In such an absorbent article, it is desirable that the tip of the skin-side folded-back portion is not joined to the skin-side sheet.
According to such an absorbent article, a dry edge is formed at the tip of the skin-side folded portion, and the rigidity at the tip can be reduced. As a result, when the absorbent article is worn, the skin contact of the tip portion becomes softer, and it is possible to make it difficult for the wearer to feel discomfort.
In such an absorbent article, it is desirable that the side sheet and the skin side sheet are compressed in the thickness direction at the skin side joint portion.
According to such an absorbent article, the rigidity of the side sheet can be increased and the thickness can be increased. Therefore, it is possible to easily stand up on the skin side as a leak preventive wall and easily maintain the shape after standing up. it can. Further, since the sheet members are joined together by the squeezing process, the air permeability is higher than that in the case where an adhesive or the like is used, and the touch can be improved.
In such an absorbent article, it is desirable that the side sheet is formed of a sheet member having higher hydrophobicity than the skin side sheet.
According to such an absorbent article, excrement is more likely to move from the skin side to the non-skin side of the skin side sheet in the thickness direction than in the width direction from the inside to the outside of the side sheet. As a result, the excrement can be promptly absorbed by the absorbent body while suppressing the lateral leakage of the excrement.
In such an absorbent article, it is desirable that the non-skin side folded-back portion is a single layer in a portion where the third non-skin side joint portion is formed in the width direction.
According to such an absorbent article, the rigidity of the portion where the third non-skin side joint portion is formed is lower than that in the case where the sheet member forming the side sheet has two or more layers, and the side sheet Is easily deformed. That is, the skin-side folded-back portion is easily erected with the bending point as the bending point of the third joint region. This facilitates the formation of a leak preventive wall and facilitates the lateral leakage of excrement.
Such an absorbent article, having a plurality of folding lines for folding the absorbent article in the longitudinal direction at a predetermined position in the longitudinal direction, and in the longitudinal direction, a front end of the second non-skin side joint portion. Is preferably located on the front side of the folding line provided on the rearmost side.
According to such an absorbent article, in the region on the rear side of the folding line provided on the rearmost side in the longitudinal direction, the gap in the width direction between the absorber and the second non-skin side joint portion becomes short, The height at which the side sheet (leakage prevention wall) can stand on the skin side can be lowered. Therefore, when the absorbent article is worn, the absorbent article can be easily kept in a substantially flat shape in the region located in the buttocks of the wearer, and can be easily fitted along the roundness of the buttocks of the wearer.
In this absorbent article, at least the skin-side sheet and the absorber have a main body squeezing portion for squeezing in the thickness direction, and in the width direction, the third non-skin-side joint portion is the main body. It is desirable that it is located outside the squeezing section.
According to such an absorbent article, when a force for compressing from the outer side to the inner side in the width direction is applied, the side sheet or the like is bent and deformed with the third non-skin side joint section as a bending start point before the main body compression section. Cause That is, it is possible to prevent the main body compression unit from bending and becoming a starting point. Thereby, the side sheet can be firmly erected on the skin side in the thickness direction, and the leakproof wall can be easily formed.
In such an absorbent article, it is desirable that the side sheet is not joined to an outer end of the absorbent body in the width direction.
According to such an absorbent article, the side sheet can be freely deformed independently of the absorber. Therefore, the side sheet is erected on the skin side to form a leak preventive wall, and at the same time, the side sheet is easily deformed so as to be crushed in the width direction and easily exerts a function as a cushion for relaxing the compression force. As a result, side leakage of excrement can be suppressed while improving the skin contact.
=== First Embodiment ===
Hereinafter, the embodiment will be described by taking a sanitary napkin as an example of the absorbent article according to the present invention, but not limited to a sanitary napkin, such as a panty liner, or a light incontinence pad, for the user's clothing. Any absorbent article that is fixed and used may be used.
<Basic configuration of sanitary napkin 1>
FIG. 1 is a plan view of a sanitary napkin 1 (hereinafter also referred to as “napkin 1”) viewed from the skin side. FIG. 2 is a plan view of the napkin 1 viewed from the non-skin side. FIG. 3 is a schematic sectional view of the napkin 1 taken along the line AA in FIG.
The napkin 1 has a longitudinal direction, a width direction, and a thickness direction that are orthogonal to each other. In the longitudinal direction of the napkin 1, the side in contact with the lower abdomen of the user is called "front side", and the side in contact with the buttocks of the user is called "rear side". Further, in the thickness direction of the napkin 1, the side in contact with the user's skin is referred to as “skin side”, and the opposite side is referred to as “non-skin side”. The line XX in the figure is the center line in the width direction.
The napkin 1 has a pair of wing portions 1W extending from the central portion in the longitudinal direction to both outer sides in the width direction. Hereinafter, in the longitudinal direction of the napkin 1, a portion provided with the wing portion 1W is referred to as a central portion 1B, a portion forward of the central portion 1B is referred to as a front side portion 1A, and a portion rearward of the central portion 1B is referred to as a rear side portion 1C.
Also, the napkin 1 has a skin-side sheet 2, an intermediate sheet 3, an absorber 10, a backsheet 4, and a sidesheet 6 at the center in the width direction. A skin side sheet 2, an intermediate sheet 3, an absorber 10 and a back sheet 4 are laminated in this order from the skin side in the thickness direction, and the side sheet 6 is from the widthwise end of the skin side surface of the skin side sheet 2. The absorber 10 is arranged across the widthwise end of the non-skin side surface. That is, the side sheet 6 is arranged so as to sandwich the respective members 2, 3 and 10 in the thickness direction. The side sheet 6 of this embodiment has a structure in which sheet members are laminated in two or more layers in at least a partial region. In FIG. 3, a two-layer structure is formed by folding back and stacking one sheet member, but a structure in which two sheet members are stacked and joined in the thickness direction may be used. Details of the side seats 6 will be described later.
The skin side sheet 2, the intermediate sheet 3, the absorber 10, the back sheet 4, and the side sheet 6 are bonded and fixed using an adhesive such as a hot melt adhesive. The adhesive is applied in an arbitrary application pattern over the skin surface side and the non-skin surface side of each member, and can be selected from application patterns such as Ω pattern, spiral pattern, and stripe pattern. Note that, in FIG. 3 and the like, the adhesive is omitted for the sake of convenience.
The skin side sheet 2 is a liquid permeable sheet member and is a cotton sheet. The skin-side sheet 2 is a portion that directly contacts the wearer's skin during wearing. Therefore, by using cotton, which is a hydrophilic natural fiber, for the skin-side sheet 2, it is possible to further improve the feel of the wearer. In particular, it is known that the wearer's skin tends to be sensitive during the period of menstruation when wearing a sanitary napkin. In this respect, by using cotton for the skin-side sheet 2 of the napkin 1, it is possible to reduce irritation to the wearer's skin and to easily reduce the possibility of itching or rash of the wearer's skin, or to visually It is easy to give the impression that it looks soft, and you can feel the luxury.
The intermediate sheet 3 is a liquid-permeable sheet member, and examples thereof include air-through nonwoven fabric and spunbond nonwoven fabric. Each of the wing sheet 5 and the side sheet 6 is a hydrophobic sheet member, and examples thereof include an air-through nonwoven fabric and a spunbond nonwoven fabric. The back sheet 4 is a liquid impermeable sheet member, and a polyethylene (PE) resin film or the like can be exemplified. The back sheet 4 has a plane size larger than that of the absorber 10 and covers the entire plane of the absorber 10.
The wing portion 1W is formed by a wing sheet 5 and a back sheet 4 extending outward from both sides in the width direction of the skin side sheet 2 or the like. The napkin 1 may not have the wing portion 1W. Hereinafter, the back sheet 4 and the wing sheet 5 may be collectively referred to as "non-skin side sheet 7".
The absorber 10 is a member that absorbs excrement and holds it inside. As shown in FIG. 3, the absorbent body 10 has an absorbent core 11 and a cover sheet 12 that covers the absorbent core 11. The absorbent core 11 is formed into a predetermined shape by adding a liquid-absorbent granular material such as a super-absorbent polymer (so-called SAP) to a liquid-absorbent fiber such as pulp fiber or cellulosic absorbent fiber. It is a thing. The cover sheet 12 is a liquid-permeable sheet and can be exemplified by a tissue or the like.
On the non-skin side surface of the napkin 1 (that is, the non-skin side surface of the back sheet 4), a central adhesive portion 8 to which an adhesive is applied is provided. In FIG. 2, the eleven rectangular central adhesive portions 8 having long sides in the longitudinal direction are arranged at intervals in the width direction, but the central adhesive portion 8 has a shape, number, and The arrangement is not limited to this. The central adhesive portion 8 is attached to the skin side surface of clothing such as underwear when the napkin 1 is used, so that the napkin 1 is fixed to the underwear or the like.
Similarly, the wing adhesive portion 9 is provided on the non-skin side surface (non-skin side surface of the back sheet 4) in the thickness direction of each wing portion 1W. In FIG. 2, the wing adhesive portions 9 are four rectangular wing adhesive portions 9 having long sides in the longitudinal direction and are arranged at intervals in the width direction. And the arrangement is not limited to this. When the napkin 1 is used, the wing portion 1W is bent to the non-skin side, and the wing adhesive portion 9 is attached to the non-skin side surface such as underwear. As a result, the wing portion 1W is fixed to underwear or the like.
The napkin 1 also has a plurality of linear squeezing portions Es, a plurality of main body squeezing portions Eb, and a plurality of holes H. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 3, when the napkin 1 is viewed from the side of the skin, the linear compressed portion Es, the main body compressed portion Eb, and the hole H can be visually recognized. The plurality of linear squeezing portions Es are arranged in substantially the entire area where the skin-side sheet 2 and the intermediate sheet 3 are overlapped with each other, and are formed by subjecting at least the skin-side sheet 2 to squeezing in the thickness direction. ing. In the present embodiment, one linear compressed portion Es compresses the skin-side sheet 2 and the intermediate sheet 3 in the thickness direction to form one linear compressed portion. Due to the pressing, the fiber density of the skin-side sheet 2 and the fiber density of the intermediate sheet 3 are higher than those of the unpressed portion. In addition, although the linear compressed portion Es of the napkin 1 is linear due to a set of dot-shaped (circular) compressed portions, it is not limited to this. For example, it may be a linear compression unit Es having a linear compression unit. However, by using the linear compressed portion Es formed by a set of dot-shaped (circular shaped) compressed portions like the napkin 1, as compared with the case of a continuous linear compressed portion, the skin-side sheet 2 and the intermediate sheet It is possible to reduce the risk that 3 becomes excessively hard, and to improve the touch when worn.
The plurality of holes H are arranged in a substantially zigzag manner in the central portion in the longitudinal direction and the central portion in the width direction of the napkin 1. The hole H is a circular hole in a plan view which penetrates the skin-side sheet 2, the intermediate sheet 3, and the absorber 10 from the skin side. The hole H of the napkin 1 is formed by piercing a pin or the like from the skin side surface to the absorber 10, and the hole H is larger than the size of one circular compressed portion that constitutes the linear compressed portion Es in plan view. Is larger in size. The hole H of the napkin 1 has a depth that reaches the non-skin side surface of the absorbent body 10, but is not limited to this. The depth of the hole H may be such that it penetrates the skin-side sheet 2 and the intermediate sheet 3 from the skin side and reaches the absorber 10.
The main body squeezing portion Eb is provided in a shape that surrounds an area where the wearer's vaginal opening is supposed to come into contact with when worn. The main body squeezing section Eb is a squeezing section formed into a desired shape by subjecting the skin side sheet 2, the intermediate sheet 3, and the absorber 10 to a squeezing process in the thickness direction. Due to the pressing, the fiber density of the skin-side sheet 2, the fiber density of the intermediate sheet 3, and the fiber density of the absorber 10 are higher than those of the unpressed portion.
<Details of side seat 6>
Next, details of the configuration and functions of the side seats 6 will be described. FIG. 4 is a schematic sectional view for explaining the structure of the side seat 6. 4 corresponds to an enlarged view of the right end regions of the absorber 10 and the side seats 6 in FIG.
The side sheets 6 are composed of a pair of sheet members such as a non-woven fabric having a substantially rectangular shape provided along the longitudinal direction in a pair on both sides of the absorbent body 10 in the width direction, and are arranged at the outermost ends 6e in the width direction as shown in FIG. And is folded back to the skin side and the non-skin side in the thickness direction. Hereinafter, of the side sheet 6, a portion folded back to the skin side in the thickness direction is referred to as a skin side folded portion 6f, and a portion folded back to the non-skin side is referred to as a non-skin side folded portion 6b.
The tip of the skin-side folded-back portion 6f (the innermost end in the width direction of the skin-side folded-back portion 6f in FIG. 4) 6fe is arranged closer to the skin than the skin-side sheet 2 in the thickness direction. Then, the skin-side folded-back portion 6f is a skin-side portion of the skin-side sheet 2 by a pair of skin-side joint portions 30 and 30 formed on the left and right sides along the longitudinal direction in a predetermined region (tip portion) on the tip 6fe side. Is joined to. That is, the non-skin-side surface of the skin-side folded portion 6f and the skin-side surface of the skin-side sheet 2 are joined by the skin-side joining portion 30. In the present embodiment, the skin-side joint portion 30 is formed by pressing the side sheet 6 and the skin-side sheet 2 using a known pressing means such as embossing.
On the other hand, the tip of the non-skin side folded-back portion 6b (the innermost end in the width direction of the non-skin side folded-back portion 6b in FIG. 4) 6be is located between the absorber 10 and the non-skin side sheet 7 in the thickness direction. It is located in. Although the non-skin side sheet 7 is composed of the back sheet 4 and the side sheet 6 in FIG. 4, the back sheet 4 alone or the side sheet 6 alone may be treated as the non-skin side sheet 7. Further, a sheet member different from the back sheet 4 and the side sheet 6 may be disposed on the non-skin side of the absorber 10 to form the non-skin side sheet 7.
The non-skin side folded-back portion 6b is formed by a pair of non-skin side joint portions 40, 40 formed on the left and right sides along the longitudinal direction in a predetermined region (tip portion) on the tip 6be side. Is bonded to the skin side. That is, the non-skin side surface of the non-skin side folded-back portion 6 b and the skin side surface of the non-skin side sheet 7 are joined by the non-skin side joint 40. The skin side surface of the tip of the non-skin side folded-back portion 6b is joined to the non-skin side surface of the absorbent body 10 by a pair of absorbent body joint portions 50, 50 formed on both left and right sides along the longitudinal direction.
FIG. 5 is a schematic plan view illustrating the arrangement of the non-skin side joint 40. The non-skin side joint portion is composed of three joint portions, a first non-skin side joint portion 41, a second non-skin side joint portion 42, and a third non-skin side joint portion 43. Each of the non-skin side joints 41 to 43 is formed by applying an adhesive material such as a hot melt adhesive in a strip shape along the longitudinal direction.
The first non-skin side joint portion 41 is provided along the longitudinal direction in a part of the front side portion 1A on the front side of the central portion 1B in the longitudinal direction. Similarly, the second non-skin side joint portion 42 is provided along the longitudinal direction in a part of the rear side portion 1C on the rear side of the longitudinal central portion 1B. The first non-skin side joint portion 41 and the second non-skin side joint portion 42 are provided at the same position in the width direction. Further, as shown in FIG. 5, an adhesive is provided in the region sandwiched by the rear end 41ef of the first non-skin side joint portion 41 and the front end 42ef of the second non-skin side joint portion 42. However, the region is a non-bonded portion.
The third non-skin side joint 43 is provided at least between the first non-skin side joint 41 and the second non-skin side joint 42 in the longitudinal direction. That is, the third non-skin side joint portion 43 is provided at least in the central portion 1B in the longitudinal direction. In addition, in FIG. 5, the front end 43ef of the third non-skin side joint portion 43 is located rearward of the front end 1ef of the napkin 1 in the longitudinal direction. Similarly, the rear end 43eb of the third non-skin side joint portion 43 is located on the front side of the rear end 1eb of the napkin 1 in the longitudinal direction. That is, the third non-skin side joint portion 43 is not provided over the entire region of the napkin 1 in the longitudinal direction. However, the third non-skin side joint portion 43 may be provided over the entire area of the napkin 1 in the longitudinal direction.
Then, the third non-skin side joint portion 43 is located inside the first non-skin side joint portion 41 and the second non-skin side joint portion 42 in the width direction. Therefore, in the width direction, the distance h3 between the outermost end 10e of the absorber 10 and the outer end 43eo of the third non-skin side joint portion 43 is equal to the outermost end 10e of the absorber 10 and the first non-skin side. It is larger than the interval h1 (= h2) between the outer end 41eo of the joint portion 41 (the outer end 42eo of the second non-skin side joint portion 42) (h3> h1, h2).
In addition, as shown in FIG. 4, the side sheet 6 is formed by folding one sheet member back to the opposite side in the width direction at the tip (inner end in the width direction) 6fe of the skin side folding portion 6f. Are formed by stacking. In the portion where the sheet members are laminated, the sheet members are joined together by a plurality of side sheet joining portions 60 formed by intermittently applying an adhesive material such as a hot melt adhesive between the facing sheet members. ing. The side sheet joint portion 60 is formed, for example, such that a plurality of strip-shaped adhesive portions extending in the longitudinal direction are arranged side by side along the width direction of the side sheet 6. In this embodiment, the side sheet 6 having a two-layer structure is formed by bending and stacking one sheet member, but the side sheet 6 is formed by stacking and joining two different sheet members. It may be formed.
The side seat 6 having such a structure has a function of enhancing leakage prevention of the napkin 1 and enhancing cushioning property of the wearer's groin by partially deforming when the napkin 1 is worn. FIG. 6 is a schematic cross-sectional view illustrating the deformation of the side seats 6 when the napkin 1 is worn. In FIG. 6, a state when the side seat 6 is deformed from the state of FIG. 4 is shown.
When wearing the napkin 1, the central portion 1B is sandwiched between the wearer's legs and between the wearer's legs (groin area) in the inseam of the wearer, and a force is applied to compress the napkin 1 from both lateral sides inward. Therefore, the compressive force acting inward in the width direction also acts on the side seats 6 provided on both outer sides in the width direction. As described above, since the side sheet 6 is made of a soft material such as spunbonded nonwoven fabric, the side sheet 6 is deformed in shape by receiving the compressive force.
Specifically, on the non-skin side of the absorbent body 10, the side sheet 6 (non-skin side folded-back portion 6b) stands up on the skin side from the outer end 43eo in the width direction of the third non-skin side joint portion 43 as a starting point. A bending deformation occurs. A sheet member having low rigidity such as the side sheet 6 and the cover sheet 12 of the absorber 10 is arranged in a region outside the third non-skin side joint portion 43 (outer end 43eo) in the width direction, and compresses the compressive force. Deformation is likely to occur when receiving. On the other hand, in the region where the side sheet 6 (non-skin side folded-back portion 6b) is joined to the non-skin side sheet 7 via the third non-skin side joining portion 43, the rigidity is high and deformation is unlikely to occur. That is, a rigidity difference occurs in the side seats 6 with the outer end 43eo as a boundary. Therefore, the side sheet 6 is likely to be bent and deformed on the non-skin side with the outer end 43eo as a starting point.
As indicated by the broken line in FIG. 5, the absorbent core 11 of the absorbent body 10 has a narrowed constriction in the width direction in the crotch of the wearer (the central portion 1B of the napkin 1). It has a portion 11c. Therefore, in the crotch portion (central portion 1B), there is a low possibility that the highly absorbent core 11 will hinder the deformation of the side sheet 6. That is, the side seat 6 is freely deformable at least within the range of the interval h3 in the width direction of FIG.
On the other hand, on the skin side of the absorbent body 10, a part of the side sheet 6 compressed inward in the width direction is deformed so as to be pushed out to the skin side in the thickness direction. As a result, the side sheet 6 stands up on the skin side as shown in FIG. 6 and forms a so-called leakproof wall. As described above, since the side sheet 6 can be deformed in a wide range of the interval h3 in the width direction of FIG. 5, the amount of the cloth pushed out to the skin side also increases, and the leak-proof wall can be formed higher accordingly. it can.
As described above, in the napkin 1 of the present embodiment, the side seats 6 provided on both sides in the width direction are deformed by being compressed inward in the width direction to form a leak preventive wall protruding to the skin side. As a result, excrement or the like absorbed by the skin-side sheet 2 is prevented from leaking out from the surface of the skin-side sheet to the outside in the width direction. At that time, in the napkin 1 sandwiched between the groins of the wearer, the side sheet 6 deforms while being crushed in the width direction, thereby functioning as a cushion for the groins and improving the skin contact when the napkin 1 is worn.
As described above, in the napkin 1, the third non-skin side joint part 43 is provided on the inner side in the width direction than the first non-skin side joint part 41 and the second non-skin side joint part 42. An interval h3 in the width direction between the absorber 10 and the third non-skin side joint portion 43 is wide. Therefore, when a compressive force in the width direction is applied, the side seats 6 are likely to be greatly deformed, and cushioning properties and leakproofness are easily ensured.
Further, in the napkin 1, since the skin side sheet 2 and the side sheet 6 are formed by separate members, the skin side surface of the skin side sheet 2 and the side sheet 6 (skin side folded portion 6f) as shown in FIG. A step in the thickness direction is formed between the tip and the tip 6fe. Therefore, even if the excrement in the skin-side sheet 2 tries to move from the inner side to the outer side in the width direction, the movement is likely to be restricted by the step difference of the tip 6fe. Thereby, the lateral leakage of excrement can be suppressed more effectively.
Further, as shown in FIG. 4, the third non-skin side joint portion 43 of the napkin 1 is arranged inside the tip 6fe of the skin side folded portion 6f in the width direction. In other words, the tip 6fe of the skin-side folded-back portion 6f is located outside the widthwise outer end 43eo of the third non-skinside joint portion 43 in the widthwise direction. Therefore, when the side sheet 6 is erected on the non-skin side from the outer end 43eo of the third non-skin side joint portion 43 as a starting point, the side sheet 6 is deformed in a portion located outside the outer end 43eo in the width direction. Is likely to occur. That is, the entire skin-side folded-back portion 6f is easily deformed so as to stand on the skin side (see FIG. 6). Thereby, the leak preventive wall is formed sufficiently high, and it is possible to more easily suppress the lateral leak.
Further, in the napkin 1, at least a part of the side sheet 6 is formed by laminating two or more sheet members such as nonwoven fabric. As described above, since the side sheet 6 has a portion in which two or more sheet members are laminated, the strength of the side sheet 6 can be increased and the excrement can be made difficult to penetrate. Therefore, when the side sheet 6 stands up as a leak preventive wall, the movement of the excrement in the widthwise direction is restricted, and the lateral leakage of the excrement can be more easily suppressed. Although the side sheet 6 having a two-layer structure has been described in the above example, the side sheet 6 may have a laminated structure of three or more layers. By doing so, it is possible to more easily suppress the lateral leakage of excrement.
The side sheet 6 in this embodiment has a two-layer structure in which one sheet member is folded back at the tip 6fe of the skin-side folded portion 6f and laminated. That is, at the tip 6fe of the skin-side folded-back portion 6f, the edge portion (edge portion) of the sheet member (nonwoven fabric or the like) forming the side sheet 6 is not exposed. As is clear from FIG. 4 and FIG. 6, the tip 6fe is a portion that is likely to come into direct contact with the skin of the wearer when the napkin 1 is worn. Therefore, if the edge of the sheet member is exposed at the tip 6fe, the edge of the sheet member may bite into the skin of the wearer when the napkin 1 is worn, which may cause discomfort to the wearer. .. On the other hand, in the present embodiment, since the sheet member is folded back at the tip 6fe, the contact with the skin at the tip 6fe becomes soft, and it is possible to make it difficult for the wearer to feel discomfort.
The side sheet 6 is not joined to the skin-side sheet 2 at the tip (the innermost end in the width direction) 6fe of the skin-side folded portion 6f. Further, the stacked side sheets 6 are not joined to each other at the tip 6fe. That is, no joint is formed at the tip 6fe of the skin-side folded-back portion 6f, which is a so-called dry edge, and the rigidity is low. As a result, the contact of the tip 6fe with the skin when the napkin 1 is worn becomes softer, and the wearer is less likely to experience discomfort.
Further, the skin-side folded-back portion 6f of the side sheet 6 is joined to the skin-side sheet 2 by the skin-side joined portion 30 formed by using a pressing means such as embossing. Since the skin-side folded-back portion 6f and the skin-side sheet 2 are joined to each other in a laminated state, the rigidity of the side sheet 6 is increased in the region where the skin-side joined portion 30 is provided, and The thickness can be increased. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 6, the skin-side folded-back portion 6f can be easily made to stand on the skin side as a leak preventive wall, and the shape after standing can be easily maintained. Further, since the skin-side joint portion 30 is formed by pressing (embossing), the ventilation can be performed as compared with the case where the skin-side joint portion 30 is formed by applying a hot melt adhesive or the like over a wide range. It is possible to reduce the area of the portion where the rigidity is improved and the side seat 6 is increased in rigidity. As a result, the side sheet 6 (leakage prevention wall) can have a good feel to the touch.
Further, since the compressed skin-side joint portion 30 is provided outside the tip (the innermost end in the width direction) 6fe of the skin-side folded portion 6f in the width direction, as described above, the tip 6fe. In the above, the dry edge is easily formed, and the feel of the napkin 1 when worn can be softened.
Also, the side sheet 6 is formed of a sheet member (nonwoven fabric or the like) having a higher hydrophobicity than the skin side sheet 2. The term "hydrophobic" refers to the property that the sheet member liquid is unlikely to spread when the liquid is dropped on the surface of the sheet member. The side sheet 6 of the present embodiment preferably has a characteristic that the dropped liquid has a contact angle larger than 90 °. With such a configuration, it becomes easy to suppress excrement from permeating the side sheet 6 from the skin side sheet 2 side and leaking to the outside in the width direction. Moreover, the excrement is more likely to move from the skin side of the skin side sheet 2 to the non-skin side (the absorber 10 side) in the thickness direction than in the width direction from the inside to the outside of the side sheet 6. As a result, excrement can be quickly absorbed by the absorbent body 10 and leakage of excrement can be more easily suppressed.
Also, in the portion where the third non-skin side joint portion 43 is provided, the side sheet 6 (non-skin side folded portion 6b) has a single layer (1 layer) structure. As described above, the side seat 6 of this embodiment basically has a two-layer structure in which sheet members are laminated. However, as shown in FIG. 4, the sheet member does not have a two-layer structure in a part of the non-skin side folded-back portion 6b. Specifically, of the two-layer sheet member (nonwoven fabric) forming the non-skin side folded-back portion 6b, the inner end 6be1 of one sheet member in the width direction and the inner end 6be2 of the other sheet member in the width direction. The positions of and are displaced in the width direction. That is, the non-skin side folded-back portion 6b has a single-layer structure in the region between the end 6be1 and the end 6be2 in the width direction. Therefore, in this region, the side sheet 6 has lower rigidity as compared with the case where the side sheet 6 has a two-layer structure, and bending deformation is likely to occur. It becomes easier to stand up. This facilitates the formation of a leak preventive wall and facilitates the lateral leakage of excrement.
By the way, when the napkin 1 is put on the market as a product, the napkin 1 is folded in three in the longitudinal direction along fold lines F1 and F2 provided at predetermined positions in the longitudinal direction as shown in FIG. The individual wrapping body (not shown) wrapped with a predetermined wrapping material is provided. Then, in the napkin 1, in the longitudinal direction, the front end 42ef of the second non-skin side joint portion 42 is located on the front side of the folding line (F2 in FIG. 5) provided on the rearmost side. Therefore, in FIG. 5, the second non-skin side joint portion 42 is provided in the entire region on the rear side of the folding line F2 arranged on the rearmost side in the longitudinal direction. The region on the rear side of the folding line F2 is included in the rear side portion 1C of the napkin 1 and is a region located on the buttocks of the wearer when the napkin 1 is worn. Therefore, in the region behind the fold line F2, it is desirable that the napkin 1 maintain a substantially flat shape along the roundness of the buttocks of the wearer without standing the side sheet 6 on the skin side.
In the present embodiment, on the rear side of the folding line F2, the space h2 in the width direction between the absorber 10 and the second non-skin side joint portion 42 is short, and the area of the freely deformable portion of the side seat 6 is small. Is becoming Therefore, in the region on the rear side of the folding line F2, the side sheet 6 is suppressed from standing up high on the skin side, and it becomes easier to fit the buttocks of the wearer.
In the longitudinal direction, the region h1 in front of the folding line F1 arranged on the most front side also has a short interval h1 in the width direction between the absorbent body 10 and the first non-skin side joint portion 41. It is difficult for the sheet 6 to stand on the skin side. Since this region is located on the wearer's abdomen when the diaper 1 is worn, it is desirable that the napkin 1 keeps a substantially flat shape along the shape of the wearer's abdomen. In the napkin 1, since the side sheet 6 is suppressed from standing up high on the skin side in the area, the napkin 1 can be easily fitted even on the abdomen of the wearer.
Further, as shown in FIG. 5, the third non-skin side joint portion 43 is located outside the main body compressed portion Eb in the width direction. Since the main body squeezing portion Eb squeezes the skin-side sheet 2, the intermediate sheet 3, and the absorber 10 in the thickness direction, when a compressive force directed inward in the width direction acts on the napkin 1, the main body squeezing portion Eb At Eb, a bending starting point may be formed. On the other hand, in the present embodiment, when a compressive force is applied to the napkin 1 inward in the width direction, the bending start point is formed in the third non-skin side joint portion 43 before the main body squeezing portion Eb. Since the side seats 6 are bent and deformed, it is unlikely that the main body squeezing portion Eb becomes a bending start point. Therefore, the side sheet 6 can be firmly erected on the skin side in the thickness direction, and the leak-proof wall can be easily formed.
Further, in the napkin 1, the side sheet joining portions 60 that join the facing sheet members are intermittently arranged in a portion where the sheet members (nonwoven fabric or the like) forming the side sheet 6 are laminated (FIG. 4). reference). That is, in the region of the side sheet 6 where the sheet members are stacked, the portion where the sheet members are joined (the portion where the side sheet joining portion 60 is provided) and the sheet members are not joined. The portions (the portions where the side sheet joining portions 60 are not provided) are alternately arranged. By arranging the side sheet joining portions 60 intermittently in this way, a void is formed in a portion where the sheet members are not joined, and it is possible to make it difficult for the excrement to permeate the side sheet 6. That is, the excrement (moisture) that moves in the thickness direction along the fibers of the sheet member that constitutes the side sheet 6 is blocked by the gap formed between the laminated portions and is more difficult to move. As a result, side leakage of excrement is easily suppressed.
Further, the outer end 10e of the absorbent body 10 in the width direction and the side sheet 6 are not joined to each other (see FIG. 4). Thereby, the side sheet 6 can be freely deformed independently of the absorber 10. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 6, while standing upright on the skin side to form the leak preventive wall, it can be deformed so as to be crushed in the width direction, and can exert a function as a cushion for relaxing the compressive force.
Although it has been described that when the napkin 1 is worn, the side sheet 6 is deformed so as to stand upright on the skin side to form the leak-proof wall, but since the side sheet 6 is made of a soft sheet member such as nonwoven fabric, It does not always deform as described in FIG. FIG. 7 is a schematic cross-sectional view illustrating another modified example of the side seat 6 when the napkin 1 is worn. In FIG. 7, as in the case of FIG. 6, a state in which a force for compressing the napkin 1 from both outer sides to inner sides in the width direction is shown.
7, on the non-skin side in the thickness direction, as in the case of FIG. 6, the non-skin side folded-back portion 6b of the side sheet 6 is bent from the third non-skin side joint portion 43 (end 43ef) as a starting point, Stand up on the skin side. That is, the standing point of the leak preventive wall is the same as in the case of FIG. On the other hand, on the skin side in the thickness direction, the tip 6fe of the skin-side folded-back portion 6f stands up toward the skin side. That is, the leak-proof wall is formed so that the tip 6fe of the skin-side folded-back portion 6f becomes the apex. Even in such a case, as described above, while the side sheet 6 is deformed so as to be crushed in the width direction, the contact of the deformed side sheet 6 to the groin portion of the wearer is improved, and the deformed side sheet 6 moves to the skin side. By standing up and forming the leakproof wall, side leakage of excrement can be effectively suppressed. In addition, in the case of FIG. 7, the tip 6fe of the side folded portion 6f rises to the wearer's skin side, so that it is easier to contact the wearer's skin. However, in the napkin 1, since the sheet member is folded back at the tip 6fe and the edge is not exposed as described above, it is possible to keep the skin contact in the relevant portion soft, which causes a discomfort to the wearer. It can be made difficult to cause.
