Abstract

The present invention is a washing machine which will be said as "cup cum drinking glass and bowl washing machine and more particularly drinking glass washing apparatus". This machine is structured to clean a number of glasses simultaneously. This is a portable semi-automatic, efficient and very convenient machine which can be used to clean glasses completely (inside as well as outside).

Description

CUP CUM DRINKING GLASS AND BOWL WASHING MACHINE
Field of Invention

The present invention relates to a cup cum drinking glass and bowl washing machine and more particularly drinking glass washing apparatus which is structured to clean a number of glasses simultaneously. This is a portable semi automatic efficient and very convenient machine which can be used to clean glasses completely (inside as well as outside)
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[002]. Cleaning of glasses is not an easy task as these are not flat and to wash them thoroughly one has to use brushes. It takes time as well as lot of effort but still sometimes the cleaning is not effective so it does not fulfill the purpose of hygiene.
[003]. In general at the time of parties or other functions like birthday, marriages etc. cleaning of Glasses is very difficult as they are deeper and brushes are required to clean the bottom of these glasses otherwise the cleaning will not be hygienic.
[004]. Conventional dish or cup washer available in market are relatively large and require substantial floor space, they are not portable and most of them are not particularly for glasses. Some technical disadvantages are also there that is dishes/ cups are supplied in sequence through racks and there is a possibility of breakage of dish/cups. In case any of them is pushed off its rack position due to any reason it may block the rotating mechanism.
[005]. Most of the hotels, restaurants engage labourers to clean glasses and bowls. They dump all the used cups, bowls and glasses in a tank containing detergent mixture. In this process sanitary conditions are very bad. In addition to this manual labour which is involved is not easily available and if available then it is costly. So to overcome these problems people prefer using disposals. [006]. These disposals are made up of plastic or thermocol which is not eco- friendly and also injurious to health as it has been proved through researches. Use of these disposals may cause cancer. Another major problem being faced is accumulation of these used disposals in huge heaps causing pollution.

Therefore, there has been an urgent need for the development of a small portable, efficient, easy to use automatic or semiautomatic cup cum glass and bowl washing machine which can simultaneously wash a number of cups/glasses/bowls thereby reducing the time and effort of work at home and commercial places.
[008]. In this regard there have been many attempts to develop a solution for the same but still there is a huge gap to fulfill the needs because conventional machines commonly used are not portable and not particular for cups/glasses/bowls and have many technical lapses.
Prior art and drawbacks of conventional glass washing machines
[009]. Cups/glasses/bowls having rather long internal structure and shape are washed manually only as they are deep inside. Further a dish washing machine which is mainly used for washing cups/glasses and the like could not help in washing deep cup/glasses because cup/glasses to be washed were either placed upside down or in an upright position so either the external surfaces or internal surface of cups/glasses were able to be washed.

[0011]. So a large amount of time and effort were required to wash cups glasses etc. Manual labour was also involved which is sometimes not easily available or if available then it increases the expenses.
[0012]. These machines also do not fulfill the purpose of hygiene also which is a very important requirement. Therefore, there was an urgent need for the development of an automatic washing machine which can simultaneously wash a large number of cups/glasses both inside and outside surface thereby reducing the time and effort both at home and restaurants. There have been many attempts to develop various automatic cup/glasses washing apparatus but these conventional apparatuses were mainly using water pressure to wash cups/glasses and thus were not able to wash the inside of the cups properly.
[0013]. Moreover, in the conventional cup/dish/glass washing apparatus repeated use of the same water in washing cup/glasses was not meeting the purpose of hygiene also.
[0014]. Technical solution in order to solve the above mentioned problems:

The present invention will automatically and simultaneously wash number of cups/bowls/glasses both inside and outside cleanly using clean water and detergent/Cleaning solution thereby reducing the time and efforts while maintaining the sanitary conditions of the cups/glasses/bowls being washed.
Summary of invention

Briefly, the present invention is a cup cum drinking glass and bowl washing machine and more particularly drinking glass washing apparatus which is structured to clean a number of glasses simultaneously. This is a portable semi automatic, efficient and very convenient machine which can be used to clean glasses completely (inside as well as outside).
[0017]. This invention comprises:
1. A combination of revolving spindles (9).
2. These spindles (9) revolve by a motor (17) and a combination of gears
(20).
3. A timer (31) operates motor (17), pumps (22,23) and buzzer (33) at
specific time intervals. 4. These spindles (9) revolve around a hollow pipe stand (20) with the help of motor (17), gears (20) and bushes (26).
5. The hollow pipe stands (20) comprises head (7) mounted on the top of it which sprays water/cleaning solution.
6. These spindles (9) are covered with brushes (8) which help to remove dirt and greasy substance from vessels.
7. Combination of cleaning cubes (11), boxes (5,12), grill (6) and flip arrangement (4) mechanism helps to put vessels at right direction and place.
8. Pump one (22) and pump two (23) pump water and cleaning solution into heads and Sprayers (16). They spray clean water and cleaning solution all over the vessels which remove dirt and greasy substance from vessels.
9. Fans (31, 32) dry the vessels by blowing air on it.
10. Buzzer (33) indicate the completion of cleaning process.

[0019]. Referring to figure - 8. An apparatus illustrating a Cup, glass and bowl cleaning machine for all kinds of drinking glasses, cups and bowls. The apparatus comprises box two (12) contains cleaning cubes (11) in which the user puts dirty glasses/cups/bowls. Then the user puts this box two (12) in box one (5) then user will insert the grill (6) on the top of box two (12). It will make sure that none of the glasses falls down. This grill (6) is having holes created by rings. This will allow spindles (9) to get in position in the glasses/bowls/cups.
[0020]. User presses box one (5) down side. In this process the flip stand arrangement (4) mechanism will flip box one (5) at 180 degrees and box one (5) will get position as shown in figure - 7.
[0021]. Now user will press the power button (2) and the machine starts. The timer (31) will first start pump one (22). It will pump fresh water into heads as well as on the back side of glasses/cups/bowls with the help of sprayers. At the same time timer (31) will start motor (17). Motor (17) will rotate gears (18) and gears will rotate spindles (9). After ten seconds timer will stop pump one (22) and start pump two (23). Pump two (23) will pump cleaning solution into heads (7) and sprayers (16). After ten seconds timer will stop pump two (23) and again start pump one (22). Pump one (22) will pump fresh water into spindles (9) and sprayers (16). After forty seconds timer (31) will stop pump one (22) and motor (17) and will start Fan one (31) and fan two (32) for twenty seconds. It will dry glasses/bowls/cups. Now timer (18) will blow buzzer (33) that will indicate the completion of the said process.
[0022]. User will again lift box one (5). The flip stand (4) mechanism will flip box one (5) at 180 degrees again, by this box one (5) will get initial position. User can collect the clean cups/bowls/glasses. Method in brief:
[0023]. User will insert dirty cups/bowls/glasses in the cleaning cubes (11) and then put box two (12) in the box one (5). After this user will insert grill (6) over box two (12) and push box one (5) down side. Flip stand (20) mechanism flip the box one (5) by 180 degrees and set all vessels on the spindles (9). Now user will press start button, it will start timer (31) and timer will start the cleaning process by starting motor (17) as well as pump one (22), pump two (23) at specific time intervals. This will clean all cups/bowls/glasses. At last, timer (31) will blow buzzer (33). User now will lift up the box one (9), the flip stand (20) mechanism will again flip the box one (5) by 180 degrees. Finally, completely cleaned glasses/bowls/cups are ready to use again.

Claims

CLAIMS im:
(1) A cup cum drinking glass and bowl washing machine (figure - 8) and more particularly drinking glass washing apparatus comprising
(a) A power cord (1) to supply power to machine.
(b) A power on/off button (2).
(c) A timer (31) that will control motor (17), pump one (22) and pump two (23).
(d) A plurality of two fans. Fan one (31) and fan two (32)
(e) A box (10) which will contain the complete inside arrangements of spindles (9), motor (17), gears (18), water and detergent supply lines (19).
(f) A flip stand arrangement (4) that will flip the box one (5) at 180 degrees.
(g) A box one (5) that will hold box two (12).
(h) A box two (12) that will hold cleaning cube (11).
(i) A plurality of Cleaning cubes (11).
(j) A locking grill (6) that will lock box two (12) within box one (5).
(k) A plurality of Spindles (9).
(l) A water out let (27).
(m) A fresh water inlet (28).
(n) A cup cleaning solution inlet (29).
(o) A fresh water tank (21).
(p) A cup cleaning solution tank (24).
(q) A pump one (22) to pump fresh water.
(r) A pump two (23) to pump cup cleaning solution.
(s) A plurality of hollow pipe stands (20).
(t) Pipes/tubes (26) to flow liquid.
(u) A plurality of sprayers (16) (v) A buzzer (33)
(w) A plurality of bushes (26)
(2) The apparatus box (10) as claimed in claim 1, wherein:
a. A timer (31) which will control motor (17), pump one (22), pump tow (23), buzzer (33).
b. A plurality of gears (30) that are fixed with spindles (9).
c. A motor (17) to rotate gears (30) with spindles (9).
d. A plurality of bushes (26) on which spindles (9) rotate.
e. A plurality of hollow pipe stands (20) (It contain two plastic/rubber pipes for supply of liquids) around which spindles (9) will rotate.
f. A plurality of liquid supply lines (19).
g. A buzzer (33).
(3) The apparatus cleaning cubes (11) as claimed in claim (1), wherein: a. Plurality of bunches of nylon brushes (8) situated inside wall of cube (11).
(4) The apparatus spindle (9) as claimed in claim 1, wherein:
a. A plurality of bunches of nylon brushes (8) situated outside wall of spindles (9).
b. A plurality of spray head (7) fixed on the top of hollow pipe stands (20).
(5) The apparatus hollow pipe stands (20) as claimed in claim 1, wherein: a. A hollow pipe of hard material like steel, plastic which contains a plurality of two inlet tubes/pipes to flow water and cleaning solution to heads (7).
(6) The apparatus head as claimed in claim 1, where in: a. A plurality of three sprayer nozzles mounted on a plate/D shaped plastic object.
(7) The apparatus flip stands (4) as claimed in claim 1, where in
a. A stand with a mechanism that flip box one (5) at 180 degrees.
(8) The apparatus timer (31) as claimed in claim 1, where in
a. An electronic circuit which will on/off motor (17), pump one (22), pump two (23), buzzer (33) on scheduled time interval.
(9) A method for Cup, glass and bowel cleaning machine (figure 8) for all kinds of drinking glasses and bowls, said method comprising these steps:
a. In first step user will put dirty glasses/bowls in cleaning cubes that are situated in box two.
b. In second step user will put box tow in box one and insert the grill over box two so that the glasses will not drop down.
c. In third step user will first flip and then push box one towards bottom. Box one will get position as shown in figure - 9.
d. In fourth step user will press switch. Timer will first start pump one, it will pump fresh water that will make a spray in all glasses/bowls through spindles as well as from the bottom sprayers (16) situated at the bottom of box one and Simultaneously motor will rotate spindles.
e. In fifth step timer will stop pump one and will start pump two that will do the same process as mentioned in step four but fresh water will be replaced by cleaning solution.
f. In sixth step timer will stop pump two and will start pump one again that will do the same process as mentioned in step four. This time cleaning solution and dirt will be cleaned. g. In seventh step after completing steps Ist to 6th cleaning process will be stopped and timer will start both fans which will blow air to dry the glasses/bowls/cups.
h. In eighth step after one and quarter minute buzzer will sound.
Now user can/will lift box one.
i. In ninth step flip arrangement will again flip the box one. Finally cleaned vessels are ready to use.
