Abstract
The invention relates to a device for operating a machine tool, in particular a laser machining tool, wherein the machine tool can be operated at least temporarily in a first operating mode in which an advancing speed of the machine tool is controlled by means of a control device. The device comprises an input interface for inputting first data by a user, and the device is designed to influence first data received via the input interface and a control variable of the control device for controlling the advancing speed of the machine tool in accordance with the first data.
