Abstract

What does Hoo-haz do? Hoo-haz is the first online platform of its kind which facilitates the renting of everyday house hold items between household-to-household by providing a platform to list various under-utilised items for rent. Hoo-haz calls the renter of item a "Hazzer". Hoo-haz provides two unique benefits to the Hazzer; 1. Provides a Hazzer with a means to generate ongoing revenue, it would ordinarily not receive, from under-utilised household items it has purchased 2. Provides a Hazzer with a way to have a positive effect on the environment by reducing consumption and therefore production of household items by making available their underutilized item for others to rent. Of equal importance is the household which is searching for a particular item and chooses to rent the under-utilised item from the Hazzer instead of purchasing the item. hoo-haz calls this household the "Renter".
