Description

Aircraft restroom unit
The present invention relates to an aircraft restroom unit.
In an aircraft, a plurality of seats, a plurality of restrooms, a plurality of galleys, and the like are arranged in a limited space of the body.
Various proposals have been made from the viewpoint of increasing the number of seats.
For example, Patent Literatures 1 and 2 disclose movable aircraft restroom units, and propose aircraft restroom units capable of changing the layout.
US 2008/0179456 A1US $ 2008 / 0179456A1 US 2009/0283636 A1US $ 2009/0283636 A1
However, even if the layout of the aircraft restroom unit is changed, the area occupied by the aircraft restroom unit does not change, so there is a limit in increasing the number of seats.
On the other hand, when attention is paid to an aircraft restroom unit, a washstand having a sink is often provided along a side wall in a restroom inside the unit. The portion of the washstand where the sink is located protrudes from the side wall to the inside of the restroom, and the space in the restroom where the sink is located is narrowed. Therefore, there is a limit in reducing the width of the aircraft restroom unit.
In recent years, it has been estimated that there are many cases in which parts other than hands such as arms, necks, and feet are washed on the sink of a wash basin due to local customs and the like, in which case water drops scatter around the sink and floors are washed. There is a problem that the surface is wet and the cleaning work is troublesome.
The present invention has been devised in view of the above circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to reduce the width of an aircraft lavatory unit and increase the number of seats without impairing the usability of a sink during hand washing. It is an object of the present invention to provide an aircraft restroom unit which is advantageous and makes it difficult to wash a portion other than the hand with a sink and suppresses floor wetness due to splashing of water droplets.

The depth H may be intuitive to a user of the aircraft restroom unit 20 from the viewpoint of ensuring ease of use of the sink 34 even if the depth D is shortened as described above, and intuitively to the user of the aircraft restroom unit 20. From the viewpoint of making it difficult to wash a part other than the hand, 120 mm ≦ H ≦ 240 mm is satisfied, and preferably 150 mm ≦ H ≦ 200 mm.
The depth of the sink 34 of the conventional aircraft restroom unit is about 90 mm.
That is, in the present embodiment, the depth H of the sink 34 is formed to be deeper than in the related art.
As described above, the side surface 3404 of the sink 34 is approximately one-half of the depth H of the sink 34 from the bottom surface 3402 of the sink 34 from the upper surface 3202 of the counter table 32 to almost half the depth H of the sink 34. The height of the sink 34 from the upper surface 3202 of the counter table 32 to the depth H of the sink 34 is formed by gradually decreasing the horizontal cross-sectional area of the sink 34 by a very small amount as it goes downward. Since the horizontal cross-sectional area of the sink 34 up to almost half the height is ensured, in terms of ensuring the ease of use of the sink 34, the arm and the arm are intuitively provided to the user of the aircraft restroom unit 20. This is advantageous in that parts other than the hands such as the neck and feet are difficult to wash.
According to the present embodiment, the hand washing can be performed without any trouble by the sink 34, and the depth D is formed shorter than before and the depth H is formed deeper than before, so that the sink 34 is easy to use for hand washing and the like. In addition, it is possible to reduce the amount of projection of the counter table 32 where the sink 34 is located into the restroom 24 while reducing the width L of the aircraft restroom unit 20 without reducing the space inside the restroom 24. This is advantageous in achieving
Specifically, in the present embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the width L of the aircraft restroom unit 20 is reduced to a minimum, and as shown in FIG. Compared to the conventional structure in which the seats 90 are arranged at the rear end of each of the seat groups 12, the seat rows 12 A of each of the seat groups 12 are narrowed by several inches, for example, 1 to 2 inches, so that each seat group 12 has a seat. It becomes possible to add one column 12A.
Therefore, as compared with the arrangement structure of the conventional example in FIG. 6, it is possible to provide six more seats 1202 while maintaining the number of aircraft restroom units 20 at two, which is advantageous in increasing the number of seats. The room unit 20 is obtained.
Note that the number of vertical passages 14 and the layout of the seat groups 12 and the like differ depending on the aircraft 10. For example, a plurality of, for example, two vertical passages 14 are provided at intervals in the width direction of the aircraft 10, and both sides of the vertical passages 14 are provided. In the case where a total of three seat groups 12 are provided, and an aircraft restroom unit 20 is provided at the rear end of each seat group 12, the front and rear seat rows 12A of each seat group 12 are provided. By narrowing the interval by, for example, 1 to 2 inches, three seat rows 12A can be increased. For example, when the seat row 12A is constituted by three seats 1202, nine seats 1202 can be increased. .
Alternatively, a plurality of, for example, three seat groups 12 are arranged in the front-rear direction of the body 10 on both sides of the vertical passage 14, that is, a total of six seat groups 12 are provided, and an aircraft restroom unit is provided at the rear end of each seat group 12. In the case where 20 seats are provided, the front-back spacing of the seat rows 12A of each seat group 12 is reduced by, for example, 1 to 2 inches to increase the number of six seat rows 12A. For example, the seat row 12A includes three seats 1202. In this case, 18 seats 1202 can be increased.
In addition, the sink 34 of the present embodiment has a shorter depth D and a greater depth H than the sink of the conventional aircraft restroom unit. Intuitively makes it difficult to put parts other than hands such as arms, necks and feet in the sink 34, and makes it intuitive that the parts other than hands such as arms, neck and feet are difficult to wash with the sink 34 It becomes possible. Therefore, washing parts other than the hands, such as the arms, neck, and feet, on the sink 34 is advantageous in eliminating problems such as water droplets scattered on the floor surface around the sink 34 and the floor surface getting wet.
In addition, the hand-washing faucet 40 is provided at a position of the side surface 3404 of the sink 34 that is separated from the upper surface 3202 of the counter table 32 downward, in other words, since the hand-washing faucet 40 is provided inside the sink 34, At the time of hand washing, the user's hand is located inside the sink 34, and the water for hand washing is spouted from the inside of the sink 34. This is advantageous in preventing water droplets from scattering on the floor surface and eliminating problems such as wetting of the floor surface, as compared with the case in which this is done.
In addition, since the hand dryer 46 is provided on the side surface 3404 of the sink 34 away from the upper surface 3202 of the counter table 32 downward, when a hand is put inside the sink 34, the hand washing and drying are automatically performed inside the sink 34. This is advantageous in that no wet hands are positioned outside the sink 34, water droplets are prevented from scattering on the floor, and problems such as wet floors are eliminated. This is advantageous in improving the convenience of the system.
