Definitions
- the present invention relates to the field of mobile communications, and in particular, to a method and device for information notification.
- a terminal device In a Long Term Evolution (LTE) system, a terminal device supports simultaneous access to two network devices. This access method is called Dual Connectivity (DC). One of the network devices is the main network device. The other network device is a secondary network device.
- DC Dual Connectivity
- One of the network devices is the main network device.
- the other network device is a secondary network device.
- Terminal equipment also supports simultaneous access to LTE network equipment and NR network equipment, because LTE is also called Evolved Universal Terrestrial Radio Access (Evolved Universal Terrestrial Radio Access, E-UTRA), so this access method is called Evolved Universal Terrestrial Wireless Access and New Air interface dual connection (E-UTRA, NR, Dual Connectivity, EN-DC).
- E-UTRA Evolved Universal Terrestrial Wireless Access and New Air interface dual connection
- LTE network equipment is the main network equipment
- NR network equipment is the secondary network equipment.
- NR E-UTRA Dual Connectivity, NE-DC
- Frequency Division Duplex (FDD) mode and Time Division Duplex (TDD) mode can be divided into Frequency Division Duplex (FDD) mode and Time Division Duplex (TDD) mode according to the different duplex modes.
- FDD Frequency Division Duplex
- TDD Time Division Duplex
- the system usually contains only one working frequency band, so this frequency band is also called unpaired frequency band.
- the entire working frequency band is only used for downlink communication or only for uplink communication in the area covered by the same network device for a period of time;
- FDD mode the system Usually contains two pairs of frequency bands for communication, one of which is used for downlink communication from the network device to the terminal device, and the other is used for uplink communication from the terminal device to the network device.
- a typical deployment method is that NR is deployed in unpaired frequency bands using the TDD mode, such as a frequency band near 3.5GHz, and LTE is deployed in paired frequency bands, such as a frequency band near 1.8GHz.
- terminal equipment working in EN-DC mode works in FDD mode on the LTE side, and works in TDD mode on the NR side.
- terminals operating under EN-DC they only send uplink signals at one frequency point at the same time, that is, when When a terminal sends an uplink signal on NR, the terminal does not send an uplink signal on LTE, and vice versa.
- the LTE network equipment configures the terminals working in DC mode with the same reference uplink and downlink configuration in the case of TDD-FDD carrier aggregation and TDD carrier as the main carrier, as follows Table 1 shows.
- the network device may configure the terminal with one of the seven configurations in Table 1, so that the terminal device sends an uplink signal only on a part of the LTE uplink subframe. For example, when the terminal is configured with reference uplink and downlink configuration 0, the terminal device can only send uplink signals on subframes 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, and 9.
- the uplink signals include PUCCH (Physical-layer uplink control channel, physical Uplink control channel), or PUSCH (Physical-layer shared channel), or PRACH (Physical-layer random access channel), or SRS (Sounding reference signal)
- the terminal device cannot send any uplink signals on the sub-frames 0, 1, 5, and 6 (that is, the sub-frames marked with "-" in the table).
- the network device can also configure an offset value for the terminal. The value of this offset value ranges from 0 to 9 and is used to adjust the number of uplink subframes that the terminal device can use. For example, when the terminal device is configured with reference uplink and downlink configuration 1, the original terminal device can only send uplink signals on subframes 2, 3, 7, and 8. If the terminal device is also configured with an offset value, such as 2 , Then the subframes in which the terminal sends uplink signals become subframes 4, 5, 9, and 0.
- the terminal device can only send a PUCCH on the uplink subframe corresponding to the uplink and downlink configuration, and for other uplink signals including PUSCH and PRACH With SRS, the terminal device can also only send in the uplink subframe in which the PUCCH is sent.
- the terminal on the NR side does not necessarily send uplink signals within the time period corresponding to these subframes, which will cause the terminal to waste uplink resources on the LTE side and reduce the network.
- Spectrum utilization As shown in Figure 1, the correspondence between LTE and NR subframes, where "U” represents uplink, "D” represents downlink, and "X” represents a subframe that cannot be used for communication.
- the terminal uses a 15kHz subcarrier interval on the LTE side.
- the 30kHz subcarrier interval is used on the NR side.
- the NR side only performs downlink reception in the time period corresponding to the LTE subframe included in the box, so LTE should have been able to perform uplink transmission in this subframe, but Due to the limitation of the reference uplink and downlink configuration in the prior art, the terminal cannot send an uplink signal on the subframe, resulting in a waste of resources.
- the uplink and downlink configuration with reference to the uplink and single transmission is used to implement resource allocation of uplink information on the LTE side with insufficient flexibility.
