Description

A CLEANING ROBOT Technological Field:
Invention is related with a cleaning robot to be used in the spaces such as planes, public means of transport (T), hospitals, intensive care units and so on which people use commonly and for which great importance is attached.
Known State of Technique:
Today, public transport vehicles are cleaned with traditional methods. Cleaning staff primarily cleans visible particles like dust and dirt, then, performs processes like vacuum cleaning and wiping with a detergent cloth. These methods are ideal for the spaces like home and office where a small number of people uses. However, they fall behind in the spaces like public transport vehicles, plane, intensive care units where both large number of people use and cleaning is very important. Although environments appear clean, they contain wide range of bacteria and viruses and pose a threat for the individual health. Particularly internationally travelling planes lead the virus and bacteria in different countries to be transported among countries. This situation is highly dangerous. For example; people living in African continent develop immunity to the virus and bacteria in their own regions. However, when these micro organisms are transported to Europe by plane, they pose a risk for those living in there. For this reason, there is a necessity for a cleaning method which will clean micro-organisms in the planes. In the known technique, there are devices that are suitable for cleaning the floors and clean the micro-organisms with UV (ultraviolet) rays. These devices are convenient only for cleaning the surface under its base part. Thanks to its UV ray diffuser in the base part, it purifies the surface where it stands from the micro-organisms. However, a device and method providing 360 degree of cleaning are needed in commonly used places. In the known technique, there are devices which are fastened onto the seats by means of handles, radiate UV rays and purify the micro-organisms on the seat. The usage area of these devices are particularly planes. These devices do not allow 360 degree of cleaning, too. Also, a personnel is needed for positioning onto each seat. The time of the process is long and unpractical.
In the literature research conducted, USA patent document numbered US8907304 (B2) was found. In the said document, it is stated that "A mobile body was structured in such way which will move onto the surface in the plane cabin. A UV radiation source is mounted into mobile body and it is configured for directing the UV radiation to the surface in a pre-established dosage. At least two jointed handles were mounted into the mobile body and UV lambs were respectively mounted into the handles. The mobile body is a trolley for negotiating the plane corridor". In the said USA patent document numbered US8907304 (B2), it is stated that 360 degree of cleaning can be performed. However, diffusers radiating only UV rays were used. But, some micro-organisms are resistant to UV rays. Therefore, a complete protection could not be provided. Also, the cleaning process has made autonomous. The device is used manually.
In conclusion, a cleaning robot for which known state of the said invention technique is overcome, disadvantages are removed, is needed.

Description of Invention:
In this detailed description, the cleaning robot which is the subject of the invention (1 ) is described for only better-understanding of the matter, with the examples which will not form any restrictive effect. In the description book, a cleaning robot (1 ) to be used in the spaces such as planes, public means of transport (T), hospitals, intensive care units and so on which people use commonly and for which great importance is attached, is described.
In Figure 1 , perspective view of the cleaning robot (1 ) that is the subject of the invention is given. The cleaning robot is consisted of lateral handle (1 1 ), upper handle (12) and cross handle (13) placed onto the body (10). Lateral handle
(1 1 ), upper handle (12), cross handle (13) and body (10) contain light source
(14) radiating UV rays and multiple nozzles (15) spraying silver ions on both lateral surfaces. Optionally, silver ions and UV light method may be either simultaneously or selecting only one of which. Here, the aim is to inactivate any kind of micro-organisms. The body (10) was positioned onto the wheels (18) and can move easily. It is equipped with a step motor which is suitable for autonomous operation. Distance is measured by a sensor (19) placed onto the body (10). Thus, the risk of striking to any object or surface is prevented. The cleaning robot (T) may be programmed over the control screen (17) placed in the front surface of the body (10). For example; the cleaning robot goes from the beginning to the end of the corridor and turns back with a pre-established speed.
In Figure 2, view of A detail specified on Figure 1 , is given. There is detailed view of lateral handle (1 1 ), upper handle (12) and cross handles (13) in detail A. Flandles (1 1 , 12, 13) are connected to each other with joints (16), thus, it is provided the handles (11 , 12, 13) to turn around the axis of the joint (16). Thus, a disinfection process may be performed with an angle of 360 degree. In the figure, there is a light source (14) radiating UV light at the end parts of cross handle (13) and upper handle (12). Also, there are nozzles (15) spraying silver ions at the end part of the upper handle (12) and cross handle (13) (not shown in the Figure).
In Figure 3, lower perspective detailed view of lateral handle (1 1 ) of the invention is given. In the detailed view, there are light source (14) positioned from end to end in the lower part and multiple nozzles (15) ranked on both sides of the light source (14). Light source (14) radiates UV light and provides the micro-organisms to be cleaned. Nozzles (15) spray silver ion and provides disinfection.
In Figure 4, elements in the inner part of the invention body (10) are shown. A power supply (20) providing energy supply for the light source (14) and silver ion reservoir providing silver ion supply for the nozzles (15) are positioned into the body (10).
In Figure 5, a simulated view of the cleaning robot (1 ) that is the subject of the invention within the public means of transport (T) like plane, is given. The robot (1 ) performs disinfection by making back and forth movements in the corridor of the plane. Seats, corridor, luggage cabinets, upper surface and lateral surface, seats' lateral surfaces in the plane are completely purified from micro-organisms like bacteria and virus. However, it should not be supposed that this invention is valid only for planes. It can be used in all places where importance is given to the hygiene line public means of transport (T), intensive care units and so on.
