Dynamic billboard consists of 6 main parts: pillar, axis of rotation, bearing, fender, body and counterbalance. Dynamic billboard mounts on a pillar and the structure of billboard is not static.
When the wind's Power collides with the structure, it creates torque around the axis of rotation and then the counterbalance generates a force against torque. Background of view ad back to the earliest civilizations and we find obelisk stone columns on ancient Egyptian. That are columns with Four-sided and pyramidal tip are made from a piece of stone, these columns were not only decorative but also used for promote the religion of the Ancient Egyptians, and over there have been engraved words of faith and prayers. Also there were some obelisk which the major of rules inscription over them and they were in public view. Although the content of these columns are limited to political and religious, But without a doubt, is fitted to definition of today advertising.
In 1450 with the invention of the portable printing press by Johannes Gutenberg, the first steps were taken in the course of advertising. By published manually advertisements papers, advertising in its modern form was introduced to the public. In 1796, with the completion of lithographic techniques, the first illustrated poster was created. Over time, people are looking for proper places where installed their ads, to specify a time limit, will have the most visitors and highest impact. Thus, special columns and boxes ads installations were established in most parts of the city were socialize.
The first time advertisement used on the sidelines of roads by traders and Americans local shopkeepers. They rolled the symbols and signs on the walls and fences or installed posters on telegraph poles, walls and every possible location. In New York in 1835, the first poster was very large installed outdoor. This 15 square-meter poster was published by (Jared Bell) printing to advertise a circus.
In 1900, there was happen on the view ad industry. Industries and companies to advertise their products on the domestic market, they paid widespread use of the billboard and from large and gorgeous pictures of the toothpaste and soap until food and drinks, appeared on billboards. During the war, advertising on billboards, were concentrated on the country's defense forces and patriotic slogans, and in peacetime, the focus was on improving the lifestyle and advertise for the latest industrial.

Most of the current billboards have same structure and same overall composition. The main function for billboards is to draw attraction, but current billboards' structure is repetitive and cannot fulfill this task.
Current billboards cannot stand against severe winds and harsh storms make them collapse.
Dynamic billboard mounts on a pillar and billboards structure is not static. If the resultant of forces is 0, it means when total torque of clockwise forces around the axis of the rotation is equal to total torque of counterclockwise forces around the axis rotation, the structure will be balanced.
When the structure is balanced, the section which is located upper than axis of rotation is called Body. When the structure is balanced, the section which is located lower than axis of rotation is called counterbalance.
External or wind forces colliding with the structure, generate a torque around the axis of rotation, in other words when the wind force collides with the structure, the structure gets off balance and moves around its axis. Higher the external forces and longer the arm, - stronger wind force collide with higher sections of structure- more the speed and angle of torque will be. Maximum torque angle is 90° clockwise and 90˚ counterclockwise.
For example, when the wind strikes the structure on the right, it generates counterclockwise torque and the structure becomes skewed or horizontal. The gravity force of the counter balance imposes on the structure and then due to the great force of counterbalance, second force’s torque is generated clockwise. In less than a second the structure become balanced and goes on its clockwise torque and turns skewed, then gravity of the counterbalance imposes on structure and due to the great force of counterbalance third forces torque is created counterclockwise and in less than second the structure become balanced and goes on its counterclockwise torque. As a result of these processes the structure gets pendulum motion and goes on this pendulum motion.
If there is no other wind force except first one, the first torque angle is bigger than the second, and second is bigger than the third, and third is bigger than the forth and so on. It means in every to and fro movement, torque angle decreases and the structure gradually reaches the state of balance. If a new force strikes the structure, it will restart its pendulum motion.
Main parts of billboard are:
1.Pillar
Pillar is a support for the structure and conducts all the forces to the ground.
According to billboard shape and according to the designer’s opinion, billboard could be mounted on one or more than one pillars.

2.Axis of rotation

Depending on billboards shape and designer's view and also number of pillars, there could be one or more than one axis of rotation. If there are more than one rotation axes, all the pillars should have same diameter and be in same direction.

3.Bearing

Maximum and minimum allowed weight or the counterbalance’s weight below the axis of rotation is calculated in the following way( according to math 1 and math 2 and math 3 :
h1= height of structure above the axis of rotation (height of body)
w1= = weigh of structure above the axis of rotation (weight of body)
h2= height of structure below the axis of rotation (height of counterbalance)
w2= weigh of structure below the axis of rotation (weight of counterbalance)
Lighting
Lighting for billboard could be done in following ways:
Light emits to the body from ground.
Light emits to the body from pillar(s).
Light emits to the body from body.
Body is made of LED Lights or LED displayers.
To reach the body, wires must pass through center of axis of rotation.
1-Having dynamic structure and pendulum motion, this invention could attract attention for log time.
2-This invention Never collapse against severe winds and harsh storms, but use this forces to go on its pendulum motion.
3-This invention could be made in many forms and configurations and by this method you could make billboards in any shapes you want.

Axis of rotation is controlled by bearings. Axis of rotation and the structure are firmly connected together. Depending on billboards shape and designer's view and also number of pillars, there could be one or more than one axis of rotation. If there are more than one rotation axes, all the pillars should have same diameter and be in same direction. Axis of rotation is a filled cylinder. The point on axis of rotation which will be connect to body should be machined so that the structure could be placed on it and make firm connection. Axis of rotation should be made of fracture resistant steel 201 .
Body is composed of two parts: structure and surface layer. Body is used for displaying. Body could be made in any forms and geometry shapes, even in the form of products of companies. Body could be made in every size. Body’s structure or underlying layer should be made of light steel. Surface layer could be made of light composites, talc, light metal sheets, Outdoor LED displays, LED Lights, flex face, banners and other modern and traditional materials which can be used alone or in combination. According to billboard shape and according to the designer’s opinion, billboard could be mounted on one or more than one Body. Lighter body of billboard, lighter the counterweight and thereupon lighter the whole structure will be 301 .
Counterbalance is the most important part of this invention. Whenever the structure become skewed, it's counterweight's job to impose its' gravity to the structure and generate a torque in the opposite side and cause the structure to move pendulum. The other role of counter weights is to keep structure balanced and prevent from collapsing . Counterbalance is composed of structure, surface layer and counterweight. Counterweight’s structure or underlying layer should be made of light steel. The structure of counterbalance and body are made as a single unit. Surface layer could be made of light composites, talc, light metal sheets, Outdoor LED displays, LED Lights, flex face, banners and other modern and traditional materials which can be used alone or in combination. Surface layers of the counterbalance and body could be made as a single unit. Counterweight should be made of casting alloys with high weight and low volume like lead and iron. According to the shape and design counterweigh tightly connects to the structure 302 .
This invention is applicable and can be installed in:
Squares in cities
Along city streets and pathways between cities
Along city highways and freeways
At the top of the towers and buildings
Beach
Sea
And wherever there is wind power.

Claims (3)

  1. The billboard can have several shapes as bellow:
    One counterbalance (FIG-10), two counterbalances (FIG-2) or more than two counterbalances (FIG-9).
    One body (FIG-2), two bodies (FIG-12) or more than two bodies (FIG-11).
    One pillar (FIG-2), two pillars (FIG-10) or more than two pillars (FIG-9).
    One axis of rotation (FIG-2), two axis of rotations (FIG-13) or more than two axis of rotations (FIG-9).
  2. In according to claim 1 , A billboard (Display structure and board, Publicity structure and board or urban elements) with pendulum motion that oscillates maximum 180° along its own axis of rotation. This means its movement is clockwise from 0° to 90° and counterclockwise from 0° to 90° which occur by wind force intensity and direction, while it has pendulum motion to resist forces of wind and storm from collapsing. This invention Never collapse against severe winds and harsh storms, but use this forces to go on its pendulum motion (FIG-1). This billboard could be shaped in any geometry, composition and in the form of the company’s product or logo. Other capabilities of the design of this billboard are variety of sizes and materials such as surface layers made of light composites, talc, light metal sheets, LED displayers, LED Lights, flex face, banners and other modern and traditional materials which can be used alone or in combination according to the design.
  3. The billboard according to claim 2 , has counterbalance in lower part of axis of rotation, Counterbalance is the most important part of this invention. Whenever the structure become skewed, it's counterweight's job to impose its' gravity to the structure and generate a torque in the opposite side and cause the structure to move pendulum. The other role of counter weights is to keep structure balanced and prevent from collapsing (FIG-8_FIG-8N).The formula for calculation of counterbalance is in the full specification.
