Abstract

Respiratory problems are one of the most common problems people have around the world. There are various ways to solve this problem, including the use of drops, types of ointments, etc. Each of which has its own problems. The design eliminates all the problems of the old stuff like unpleasantness, temporary effect, and has a stronger and longer lasting effect, plus it's very easy to use. This product works like a small non-disturbing pad inserted into the nostril wall and begins the treatment process by releasing the drug. The glue on the surface of the adhesive also absorbs the air due to the moisture content and increases the efficiency of the drug.

Description

Drug Releasing Pad
Claimed invention in the field of medicine, especially in the field of inhaling medicine is used.
Patent No. 139550140003010032 on 11/11/2016Ms. Asal Foroughiipour has invented the invention of a respiratory mask equipped with inhalation medication which can’t be useful to some people and has a great deal of contact with the environment.
This product works like a small non-disturbing pad inserted into the nostril wall and begins the treatment process by releasing the drug. The glue on the surface of the adhesive also absorbs the air due to the moisture content and increases the efficiency of the drug.
With the advent of the world and the rise of air pollution, new types of diseases have emerged, mainly due to changes in the breathing air, which are related to the respiratory system.
The methods available so far for solving respiratory problems such as ointments, nasal drops and spray types have their problems. For example, the ointment has an unpleasant sensation and is not usable in all situations and provides short-term effect.
Therefore, the need for a new, simpler, and long-lasting approach is evident.
A three-layer pad with top-down layers comprising damp lint and contact surface enhancer (1), drug storage part (2) and adhesive layer (3) to attach to the inner nasal wall. All parts must be of a material that does not cause sensitivity to the most people. It is recommended to use sterile cotton for this purpose.
Connecting the dampening layer of the contact surface (1) to the drug storage area (2) must be such that the drug can be absorbed into the villi (1), thereby facilitating drug release into the environment. Attach the drug storage layer (2) to the adhesive layer (3) in such a way that the two layers do not interfere with each other (a very thin insulation layer between them).
The drug is injected into the middle part of the pad (this is done by the manufacturer, not the consumer); the drug evaporates in the immediate vicinity of the internal temperature and creates a long-lasting effect. Attach the pad to the inner wall of the nose (3) (on the right side of the inner wall of the right nasal cavity and on the left side of the inner wall of the left side of the nasal cavity) And the drug starts to work.
The adhesive used should not be allergic.
For a better and longer lasting effect, it is best to clean the nose before use.
This method is useful in almost any situation because it is not affected by environmental conditions and is hidden from view.
The advantages of this method over previous methods are that, like ointment, it does not create an unpleasant sensation and does not disrupt the intra-nasal villi that have the function of removing the suspended particles, but rather helps the drug to seep through the nasal surface and absorbs suspended particles. It can be completely removed from the nose by changing the pad and also has a long-lasting effect against the spray and drops (depending on the type and amount of drug used).
Due to the fact that the pad is hidden during the day, it is usable and does not disturb the person during sleep.
It can be used by a wide range of people because of the use of substances that are not Allergic to most people.
It can be used by almost all ages because of the ability to control the amount of drug used and resize.
A wide range of medications can be used.
The drug is sterile and remains sterile until use (unlike ointment that is permanently in contact with hands).

Section A: In this section, the overall shape of the pad is shown, which is based on the shape of the nasal duct designed to fit easily into the inner wall of the nose. The size offered is the most optimal size according to the reviews. It should be noted that the sizes are intended for adult humans and require size reduction to produce samples for children.
Fig. 2
Section B: This section shows the thickness, the order and the type of pad layers. The top-down layer is the contact surface enhancer layer with lint extensions (1), drug storage layer (2) and finally the adhesive layer (3) to attach to the inner nasal wall. The thickness of all sections can be changed depending on the amount of medication and the type of problem.
Pad Material: For the production of different layers of the pad materials should not be allergic to most people and are not harmful to the environment because of their naturalness. The desired material is sterile cotton. These fibers are widely used in various parts and in various forms due to their absorption of moisture, ease of coating and availability.

The invention is used in the pharmaceutical industry, as a platform for the use of respiratory drugs.
