A lid is provided at the water feed opening. Another side of a housing of a heater is provided with an electric heating member. An air inlet and an air outlet are arranged at the housing. The housing is provided with a humidity detection sensor for detecting an indoor humidity level. The humidity detection sensor is connected to an audible alarm circuit. The housing is provided with a room temperature detection sensor connected to a light-emitting alarm circuit. Feeding of water into the humidifier only requires removal of the lid from the top portion, and thus a water-feeding operation can be performed conveniently. Moreover, a water-feeding device can be activated according to the indoor humidity level. The heater exhibits excellent heating performance.
