Abstract

A transport system comprising a powered vehicle running through a tunnel floating in the sea or other body of water with in the epipelagic zone. The tunnel comprises inner and outer tubes (148a) and (148b) between which high speed currents of air flow in the direction of travel of the vehicle. A wind turbine (409) is driven by the air currents to generate power. The tunnel is tethered to the seabed (40) by steel ropes (151) adjustable by means of powered reels (203), and telescopic platforms (P1, P2) extract power from tidal and wave movements. The platforms (P1, P2) may also be arranged to collect solar power.

Description

TRANSPORT SYSTEM USING RENEWABLE ENERGY
This invention relates to transport systems using renewable energy, particularly but not necessarily such systems providing long-distance transport across oceans or other large bodies of water such as seas, seaways and lakes.
More than a century, many inventors and companies have tried to find the best solutions to connect mainlands to islands or countries to countries, or even continent to continents by permanent methods through sea ways such as bridges and undersea tunnels. For many years, it has been attempted to connect Alaska and Russia together but it was very difficult because most of the tunnel technology used were old-fashioned methods and sometimes the weather conditions were a big obstacle, especially the wave wind and frozen sea.
The object of the invention is to provide a transport system that can be constructed and operated efficiently across oceans or other large bodies of water.

Following a brief introductory description, the invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings, some features of which are referred to in the introductory description.
The atmosphere contains different zones, like the sea depth contains different zones. Using different temperature in the under tunnel system, both ends are open to the fresh air and create high speed wind inside a long tunnel which makes the new logistic communication a big advantage as it does not use any C02 gasses or fuel to run the sunlit train floated tunnel system.
The sunlit tunnel designed and invented to harvest under sea and over sea renewable power such as wind tower power 439 and solar power (not Shown) on the platforms, and artificial wind in the tunnel sleeve 403 and vertical wave power from the telescopic vertical platforms 101 and tidal energy power from the tidal current 307 the energy which is not used in the sunlit train tunnel system will transfer to land by HVDC cables.
The advantage with sunlit floated train tunnel will opens the possibilities to transport goods and passengers through a safe, long tunnel in one piece from London to Alaska, passing under the frozen of the Arctic Ocean. This will be the first time in history that a communication between London and Alaska can be done within less than a day seaway, using high speed maglev train using the sunlit tunnel with minimum air resistance.
As an inventor I came with a new way of sea way connection, for both short distances and long distances using the undersea level tunnel of isolated steel cable. The wire cable ropes make the sunlit tunnel become one piece endless, quick and easy way to assembly to transferring passengers, container goods, drinking water and Crude oil and gas at a very high speed using electromagnetic train technology (MAGLEV).
This will basically will be an undersea train using straight line of tunnel, which is floating under sea approximately within epipelagic or photic zone meters below the world’s largest ship’s Hull D2.
This new invention applies a physical tunnel between country to country, island to island or continent to continent. This new endless straight floated sunlit tunnel operate in the epipelagic zone with normal fresh air supplied from both end of the sunlit tunnel and the vertical telescopic platforms via elevator 350.
The endless sunlit tunnel will be in one piece, and the idea is to use circular metal surrounded by tens or hundreds of steel wire ropes isolated by hard rubber surrounded along and apparel the tunnel In two layers or more along the Sunlit Tunnel in parallel with Tunnel direction, under natural sea pressure to keep all this steel wire ropes together tight , creating a flexible mechanical wall which surrounds the inner metal tube (the tunnel) used for very high speed passenger trains and unmanned container trains or hybrid vehicles for short and very long distance traffic communications under sea level.
The benefit of this system is to create very fast trains to transport passengers, containers or vehicles at a very high speed which can in the near future exceed over 1 ,000nm/h. connecting all north Canada islands or connect all main ports in the artic ring together by using the undersea roundabout 9 in Fig. 10
For long distance, London - New York 3300nm in less than 4 hours journey , London-panama 4725nm less than 5 hours journey, Panama- Auckland 6550 nm less than 7 hours, London-Stockholm 1200 nm less than 2 hours Yokohama -Basra7279nm less than 8 hours journey, Cape Town - London 6150nm less than 7 hours journey there will be one sunlit tunnel without any cuts in the structure of the undersea floated sunlit tunnel.

The difference between this invention technology and traditional tunnelling system, is not need digging in the sea bed because the tunnel will be horizontally levelled with the sea level in depth from 10 meter and more from the super tanker ship’s Hull to keep the both the undersea floated tunnel safe from the a way from super tanker traffic iri sea and ocean or water channels.
Another advantage of the sunlit tunnel along the tunnel, there will be many hundreds, or thousands of special new designed platforms ‘vertical telescopic energy platforms’ which is explained in figure 5 and 6,. there will be special designed hydroelectric tidal current turbine 307 which is surrounded along the tunnel, The system will harvest electrical energy horizontally from wave tidal a current by venture effect will harvesting huge electrical power and will be send to land by help of the Sunlit floated tunnel with the combination of the vertical telescopic sea energy platform and the artificial high sleeve wind turbine will become one of the biggest electrical of renewable generator machine all organized well and work because of the flexible steel wire floated under sea tunnel.
Under the assembling the tunnel system the tunnel system will use
Turbine 307 will work as propeller to pull the tunnel in the sea along the platforms and once the tunnel is built, this propeller will work as a generator turbine producing electricity and the power will be transported to land by the HVDC high voltage direct current cable to transfer the produced electricity by the HVDC for long distance for safety is outside the sunlit floated tunnel fig2, 3, 5, 6, 7.
A project like this, will create huge energy which can be enough to cover the demand of UK/US and Ireland household energy plus income from the passenger, container goods and oil/ gas pipe line, fibre optic cable, and marine research centres.
The undersea floated tunnel will transfer powers power cable and fibre optic and data cables from one continent to another in a straight line, which will save a lot of money and time to compare with laying the cable on sea bed and is one of the options to supply todays crypto currencies minor which uses huge electric power. The platforms are connected to the sea bed by a steel cable 151 and is connected to parallel lines along the tunnel to transfer crude oil, gas and monitored and supplied by renewable energy with the platform along the Sunlit Tunnel.
An undersea sunlit floated tunnel using straight line to run electromagnetic high speed and floating within epipelagic, photic, called sunlit zone meters below the world’s largest ship’s Hull point under the sea level made of many layers of steel ropes wire and gap of fresh air along the tunnel in horizontal parallel line with sea level connected to vertical telescopic shaped energy platforms connected by elevators along the sunlit tunnel and connected with cable to the sea bed.
The sunlit tunnel system run by own renewable energy and able to produce thousands of MW electricity of clean energy sources from differential of temperature between isolated and less isolated of the outer layer on hot and cold area in the sunlit tunnel and each end of the sunlit tunnel is on land and open for fresh air the speed of the undersea sunlit train will be many times more faster than Mako shark speed for transporting passengers and container goods, and fibre optic cables and power cable oil /gas and fresh water between country to country, island to island or continent to continent and using recycled heat by cooling thousands of transformers and cryptocurrency minor to create artificial high speed wind in the sunlit tunnel.
With this new tunnelling, a passenger can travel with a high speed train from London to New York under less than three hours. A container can also travel under less than three hours, fully automatic and with unmanned operation for both passenger and container train.
In the accompanying drawings, which are purely schematic - Figure 1 illustrates the undersea Sunlit train floated tunnel positioned horizontally and parallel in Epipelagic zone consist of two circular metal, with a sleeve gap (fresh air) in between inner tunnel and outer tunnel creating high speed train and producing renewable electric both from the platform and the tunnel;

This high speed wind will boost the speed of the sunlit maglev train speed many times faster than Mako shark speed to transport passengers and container goods, oil /gas and fresh water from London to new York or to any port or under the iced arctic ocean in north pole, the journey with Sunlit train will take less than 3 hours under the sea to reach New York and use its own renewable energy.
This new invention is different and new generation of traffic communications using under sea Sunlit technology without harming the marine life and animals in sunlit zone, and without using any fuel to run the system or the super high speed train in Epipelagic or photic zone, which is just a few meters below the super tanker Hull or under the frozen ice of the Arctic Ocean.
The tunnel is straight and flexible and contains fresh air 407 from both ends of the tunnel also receives fresh air by the Vertical telescopic platform to regulate the wind speed 407 in the sleeve 411 H hotter than the 411C area to keep the high speed wind continue along the sunlit tunnel.
The old fashion under sea bed digging is costly, time consuming and damaged the environment of the sea bed.
The undersea sunlit tunnel Train is positioned below the super tank’s lower parts D2. The tunnel is between the sea level D1 and mesopelagic zone. The Sunlit tunnel is metres below the Hull of the biggest super tanker and meters above the mesopelagic zone. The tunnel contains an inner ring 148a electromagnetic train’s maglev and the second ring 148b contains the hot air and the super-giant wind ring generator 409 which turns the generator 403 produce heat which help the system to turn. The tunnel is horizontally levelled with D1 which is the sea level. Both main ends of the Sunlit tunnel on land and the rest are floating in the sea with the help of the vertical telescopic energy platform P (101) fig 1 .
The hot air 411 H moves from the half way isolated tunnel 148b, in the same direction as the sunlit maglev train 147 from heat zone H to the cold area zone 405C. The platforms supply the heat through the elevator 350, 350c, and 350d along the tunnel the heated air creates an artificial high speed wind, which minimises the air resistance on the sunlit train. The epipelagic zone level has less under sea pressure and is close to the sea surface, which makes the best option for very high speeds of communication between port X1 and port X2. For example, a destination using under sea Sunlit Maglev Train tunnel systems 148b.
The tunnel and the platforms produce huge amounts of electricity from
101 or 307 and 409. This tunnel and the platform contain areas for cooling transformers cryptocurrency minor, which require very high electricity and need a cooling system. The heat released from the cooling system will be recycled again in the tunnel to boost the high speed artificial wind in the tunnel, in the sleeve area and in the 147 the heat from the platform P and the elevator 350, 350c and 350d will used as heat exchanger to regulate the wind speed 411 H and 405C by the temperature inside the inner and outer tunnels 148a and 148b.

This mechanical undersea pressure will have the vertical on both 153a and 155a and become horizontal on first layer 153a which makes these two layers, a very powerful wall surrounding the ring tunnel 331a. These layers can be two or more, depending on the depth of the sea, the more you go down in the sea, the more layers there will be. The second layers are squeezed by two half inner smooth curved sprocket which have T-shaped ribs 148a, 148a joined together by a spring connection 172. These ribs are installed along the tunnel and connect one T ribs to other by bar 330 and 335. The tunnel has vertical and horizontal structure which helps to keep the ring in circle form and has two floors 341. The four square opening 147, is for passenger and container goods fast train. The side areas 112 is for emergency and services below opening 111 is for internal power cable and fibre optic cables from one port to another.
The opening top 350a is used for emergency and situations and fresh air temperature control for the wind speed as connected to the elevator 350 and from there it is connected to platform 310 have solar energy and wind tower439 for producing renewable energy which . The two or more outside tidal current turbines 307 are connected by a rotatable device 311. The turbine has two functions under the construction of the tunnel and assembly turbine 307 is used as a propeller to pull the new build tunnel T to connect to the vertical energy platforms in open sea and when the tunnel is in function under the sea level, the turbine 307 works as a generator produced energy from tidal currents from the ocean. The two layer also used for drill arm of many steel ropes rest on the profile of 331 used for drill arm 148x fig12. Figure 4
Isometric view of the undersea floated sunlit tunnel. This shows the emergency flap shutter 11 , which is in the opening position in event of any accident in the sunlit tunnel, the sensors will shut automatically from both ends of every section. Each section is longer than the length of one long Sunlit Train. The flap shutter is originally from my own old invention the automatic leak detection system for pipeline and contains three parts 25, 21 , 23, all hinged together by 21a, 27, 29. This view also shows the connection between two T ribs 330, 335 which keeps the horizontal undersea tunnel in one piece.
The present invention utilises variants of certain previous proposals of my own, viz US 7441441 (Figures 1 , 2 and 3), US 7329963 (Figure 4), US 7619320 (Figure 3) and GB 2467026 (Figures 3 and 4).

The complete system of sunlit train floated tunnel and the connections from sea level D1 to sea bed 40 comprising all devices involved in two tunnels T1 , T2 connected to elevator 350 to vertical hydraulic telescopic energy produce platform 101 and dry platform floors P of more than one storey above sea level and one or more stories below the sea level. This figure is the assembly machine 84 start from the port toward the open sea for assembling the sunlit tunnel structure specially for the placing the steel rope wire is not sectioned but in one piece by extending all the steel cable in two or more layers by using this method as calculation for example e.g. if used 224 steel cable in one circular layer 153a around inner ring 331 and the length of each cable is 4000 meter the result will be one cut in one steel cable and joined to extend the steel wire every 17 meter will have one cut joined of cable of total 224 steel cable and this is why this invention is unique and will make the wall structure very strong and endless flexible in one piece of floating tunnel in sea or in ocean and is new way for marine technology.
The reels 274 connected to the main holder 271 by the shaft 309 and the method of assembling the undersea tunnel first start from inner ring with the sunlit tunnel 331 by using each inner metal tube section e.g. 50 meter and has one female head 331c and one male head 331 and the male connection 343 which will be robotic welded together.
The second process to lay out all the steel rope cables along the tunnel, the feeding of the 331 c will be from behind.
The Sunlit tunnel is quicker and less time consumed to assembly than traditional undersea bed tunnel digging.

Today’s global warming changes the world’s environment. On our planet and this system will radically will minimize the C02 level in air and in sea, there are countries which have no rivers and fresh drinking water and destination systems which cost the countries huge amounts of money every day.
The new undersea tunnelling system make all countries and islands have access to fresh drinking water and divert the direction of the river streams from reach country of fresh water river to area or countries without access for fresh water using under water sunlit tunnel, or to transfer parts of the river flow or the whole river flow through the sunlit tunnel e.g. D6 is a mountain in Indonesia WA (rich of rivers), which is possible to build a water pipe WA to run down the hill 435 to reach the coast line D4 using the hydro power pressure of the height of the mountain or the hill and through the straight line of the undersea Sunlit tunnel 148b will supply many m3/s of water.
Using the sunlit tunnel 148a, 147 for water transport and energy producing the sleeve area 407 for generating electricity, or using the electric generator 403 to pump the water to increase the flow of the river inside the sunlit tunnel from Indonesia in much higher speed of the water flow in the direction of GCC countries, this will benefit both Indonesia and GCC countries. GCC countries WB can transfer oil or gas 222 and electric power 111 fibre optic through the tunnel 148b. This system is the first kind to divert a river from one island to another island, or from one country to another country using floated flexible sunlit tunnel system for the distance of thousands of Nautical miles nm.

The mechanical part of this invention has no cut or sections in the system, it is all in one piece as explained in figure 7. The zig zag ports is on higher position on land to avoid tsunami waves in the UK and in the USA using the undersea floated tunnel system allow us to use highest communication technology unmanned sunlit trains for container and goods transport or for both method, which will save time and money, and this is only because of the undersea flexible steel ropes sunlit tunnel.
With this new technology possible to send every few minutes unmanned single container using the floating undersea sunlit tunnel electromagnetic rail system from London to reach New York less than 3 Hours. For every one hour and if one container train caring 100 container for each train the daily transport will be for both way 4500 container every 24 hours for both way and the sunlit tunnel also producing huge clean energy (electricity power).

This is a diverting system 9a for an undersea sunlit tunnel roundabout 9 which can divert the undersea sunlit train within the sunlit tunnels 148a or 148b and train destinations from tunnel T2 or straight to T1. This method is important for any undersea sunlit roundabout that requires four diverting traffic systems undersea or under frozen iced north pole artic to travel north, east, south and west or to connect USA, Russia, Canada, Greenland, Norway, Iceland in one undersea sunlit round about for passenger or for container or crude Oil /Gas transport all year around because the sunlit high speed train will work under the sea within in the same speed because the undersea conditions below the sea level D1 and D3 more or less all are same. The new drilling 148x is same structure of 148a and because of the flexibility can be used for drilling services which can reach thousands of metres below the sea. The difference between this drilling system and existing drilling systems are that the flexible arm made of wire cable ropes and the drill arm not rotatable but the head of the drill 147z is hydraulically rotatable and contains same time hammering and vibration bar 401 , and cut bits 429.
The drill arm 148x can be assembled with different sections and can be quickly fixed together 148x. The fixed part and the rotating part are isolated from each other, by a bearing 10b. The hydraulic system 466 contains two or more special designed vertical and horizontal hydraulic cylinders 349 and 349a.
This is connected to shoes and grasps the drill hole and extends the hydraulic rod 452, or changes the directions of the drilling by extending one of the hydraulic cylinders 349 with help from 363. The crushed rocks will suck from 147y to 147X to the sea surface. This drilling has flexibility to clean the sea bed from heavy spilled crude oil, or to drill rocky tunnels in any direction or use it for oil and gas wells, or even for gold mining drilling.

This Hydraulic diagram used for harvesting energy from the sea wave both vertically and horizontally partly from my old invention. This contains two hydraulic cylinders 101 with hydraulic piston and hydraulic rod 105. This system works as explained in the patent. The movement of sea waves, both horizontally and vertically, will produce electricity based on my two old inventions.
The horizontal HB wave which is close to the shore, using plate 71 which is balanced by air and water 65. When the wave hits the flat part of the plate 73, the plate will engage the cylinder 101 by the rod cylinder 105, pumping high pressure hydraulic oil to the system and boosts the plates speed by the arrow shaped 75. The discharged system of 79 will increase the power of the plate by pushing the front water from smaller diameter 83 which makes a venture affect. This is one of the important parts of marine technology for the future, by changing the water resistance by discharging to power push the water in the front of the flat face 73 and the plate 71 will move opposite direction and engages the piston rod 105 building higher pressure in the horizontal cylinder.
The horizontal system contains two bars 117 and structure 188 and limitation parts 177 to keep the plate in a 100% horizontal position against the wave and to protect the hydraulic rod 105 from twisting. The connection between a horizontal position 101 and accumulator 304 made by structure 224. The vertical hydraulic cylinder 101 is connected to a bowl 4 or any shape, which has a direct benefit with a wave height up and down which is shown in arrow VP. The rod 105 extends with limitations 177 and structure 224 all installed through the cost of the floor 40. Both cylinders 101 are horizontal and vertical, and will produce hydraulic pressure in one direction through the accumulator 34 running hydraulic pump 23A and a generator 205V/H. The accumulator, pump and generator is above the sea level. Key features of the invention may be summarised as follows.
An undersea sunlit floated high speed train tunnel within epipelagic zone , photic zone, called sunlit tunnel zone contains an inner circular tunnel with two or more layers of steel rope resting on the smooth sprocket and surrounded by the super-giant bearing gear system engaged by the speed of the artificial wind turning the blade by venture effect and connected and turning two or more electrical generators by narrowing the inner circle gap by the ring bearing and the gear between the inner and outer ring the artificial wind area created an stream of fast wind speed by the differential of hot air in one end of the sunlit tunnel to cold end of the sunlit tunnel creating a very high speed of wind in the same direction of the electromagnetic super-fast sunlit train in straight sunlit floated tunnel line.

The two tunnels rest below smaller tunnel which directly connected to the platform elevator and transfer high voltage direct current and use the platform wind solar power landing helicopter, and tourism leisure or marine research centre fish and plastic factories and the platform clean the sea from plastics.
The sunlit tunnel further comprises an energy telescopic platform contain fixed top part connected to elevator under sea level and middle part containing energy of hydraulic system of vertical cylinders creating huge energy to supply the sunlit train and countries connected to the system with huge renewable energy.

The system uses the natural undersea pressure to keep the sunlit tunnel have circular form and fully straight line treat the fastest railways transport using electromagnetic system and minimum air resistance.
The tunnel is endless with no section cutting with only one joined steel wire every few meter.
The sunlit tunnel stays floated and in straight line and parallel with sea level by support of hundreds of vertical telescopic energy platforms and fresh air in the sunlit tunnel and satellite navigation weather system to keep the fresh air in the system equal along the sunlit tunnel and the wave heights and all the sunlit tunnel system connected to the sea bed by cable.
The system offers on the seabed oil gas pipeline and power cable and fibre optic cable leak detection laying on the sea bed monitored along the sunlit tunnel.
The system is easy to recycle and extend without major effect on the undersea traffic of the sunlit tunnel system.
The system can include a zig zag port on land by using the sunlit train continue the journey on land railway system and robotic controlled loading and unloading operations of goods container.
A tunnel roundabout can divert the train from one country to another from undersea roundabout.
The system can include hydraulic cylinders to produce renewable wave energy both vertically and horizontally. The hydraulic cylinders the boat using its own movement power from wave and air to travel by using the vertical.
The system can be used for short seaways tunnel connections as well as for long distances for thousands of nautical miles.
The system can be assembled in the port or on the platform very quickly and less time-consumingly using reel assembly feeder of wire ropes by using reel and fast ring plate weld male to female robotic welding.
Telescopic platforms of the sunlit tunnel and the boat can be used for cleaning the sea and ocean from spilled oil or plastic products.
The invention extends to a drill in which one of the many layers of steel ropes wire used to have flexible drill made of none rotatable arm and routable drill head used for cleaning the deepest sea bed from crude or drilling tunnel or oil gas well without braking the drill arm. The drill can use horizontal and vertical hydraulic cylinder to use pressure to drill faster and not using the arm power and it may sucking oil from a contaminated sea bed.
Finally, it should be understood that whilst the invention has been described as having a train which travels through the tunnel, it may otherwise have an individual railcar or other powered vehicle to travel through the tunnel. The term“powered vehicle” as used in the claims hereof should be deemed to include a plurality of vehicles coupled together as in a train.

Claims

CLAIMS The invention claimed is:
1. A transport system comprising a tunnel and a powered vehicle configured and arranged to travel through the tunnel, characterised in that the tunnel floats in a body of water and is tethered within the epipelagic zone thereof.
2. A transport system as claimed in Claim 1 characterised in that the tunnel is tethered at a depth below the surface of the water sufficient to allow clear passage above it of all waterborne surface vessels using said body of water.
3. A transport system as claimed in Claim 1 or Claim 2 characterised in that the tunnel extends between sections at each end above the level of the surface of the water, which end sections are each open to atmospheric air thereby to create air currents through the tunnel from differences in ambient temperature and pressure at the opposite ends.
4. A transport system as claimed in Claim 3 characterised in that said end sections are each on dry land and have a zig-zag configuration.
5. A transport system as claimed in Claim 3 or Claim 4 characterised in that the system includes power generation means operating on renewable energy including:
energy in the air currents; and/or
energy in waves in the body of water; and/or
solar energy.
6. A transport system as claimed in Claim 5 characterised in that the system includes a heat recovery subsystem operative to accelerate the air currents in the direction of movement of the powered vehicle.
7. A transport system as claimed in Claim 5 or Claim 6 characterised in that the system is tethered to the bed underlying the body of water by means including telescopic platforms that alternately extend and retract in response to waves in the body of water and thereby drive said power generation means.
8. A transport system as claimed in Claim 7 characterised in that the alternate extension and retraction of the telescopic arms also drives a pump operable to draw off oil or debris from the body of water.
9. A transport system as claimed in any of Claims 5 to 7 characterised in that the system includes one or more ducts extending alongside the tunnel and carrying fresh water and one or more pumps connected to the power generation means to pump the fresh water through the duct(s).
10. A transport system as claimed in any of Claims 5 to 9 characterised in that the tunnel comprises an inner tubular casing and an outer tubular casing with a space between the two through which pass at least part of said air currents, wherein said space includes a convergent-divergent portion operative to accelerate the air by the Venturi effect and houses a wind turbine driven by the accelerated air.
11. A transport system as claimed in Claim 10 characterised in that the outer tubular casing is surrounded by a plurality of steel cables extending lengthwise of the tunnel and contained within interconnected pairs of semicircular ribs.
12. A transport system as claimed in any of Claims 5 to 1 1 characterised in that power from the power generation means is used for cryptocurrency mining.
13. A transport system as claimed in any preceding claim characterised in that the tunnel is tightly wrapped with steel wire ropes.
14. A transport system as claimed in any preceding claim wherein the tunnel is tethered by steel ropes secured in the bed underlying the body of water at points determined by satellite positioning to make the tunnel straight.
15. A transport system as claimed in any preceding claim characterised in that the tunnel carries water drawn form an upland source and delivered to a lower area of water shortage and goods are carried through the tunnel by the water.
