Abstract
L'invention concerne une canne anglaise constituée par une tige tubulaire (1, 2) et une coque d'avant-bras (3) prolongée par une poignée (4), comportant au moins un aimant. Le pivot (5) fixé à l'extrémité distale de ladite tige tubulaire (2) ainsi que ladite tige tubulaire (2) présentent une section carrée. Ladite tige tubulaire (1, 2) présente au moins un aimant permanent sur la face opposée à ladite poignée (4). Ladite coque (3) présente au moins un aimant (6,7) à sa surface extérieure.
Description
CANNE ANGLAISE A COQUE AIMANTEE
Domaine de 1 ' invention
La présente invention a pour objet un dispositif orthopédique d'aide à la marche muni d'une poignée anatomique, communément désigné par «canne anglaise ».
Une canne anglaise comporte habituellement un tube métallique réglable en longueur à l'extrémité inférieure duquel est assujetti un embout antidérapant, et à l'autre extrémité duquel est solidarisée une poignée sensiblement perpendiculaire audit tube, lequel est prolongé obliquement vers le haut, ce prolongement comportant à son extrémité une pièce en arc de cercle servant d'appui à l'avant-bras.
La partie supérieure d'un tel dispositif, c'est-à- dire la partie comportant la poignée, le prolongement oblique et la pièce en arc de cercle, est en général réalisée en une seule pièce, et le plus souvent en matière plastique moulée.
Le brevet américain « historique » US1244249 décrit le principe général d'une canne anglaise munie à l'extrémité supérieure d'un support oblique, fixe ou à mouvement compensatoire, sur lequel repose l'avant-bras, maintenu sur ledit support par engagement dans un dispositif de maintien de forme semi-circulaire.
Ce principe général a ensuite fait l'objet de différentes améliorations, notamment pour éviter que les cannes ne tombent lorsqu'elles sont déposées contre un mur ou un meuble. On a proposé différentes solutions basées sur l'utilisation d'un aimant.
Etat de la technique
On connaît dans l'état de la technique la demande de brevet allemande DE 2847732 qui décrit une amélioration sous la forme d'une paire de béquilles munies d'un aimant à l'extrémité avant de chaque poignée, ces aimants étant agencés pour s'attirer l'un l'autre lorsque les poignées sont placées bout à bout. Ainsi, lorsqu'ils sont appuyés contre un mur et avec les poignées placées ensemble, les deux béquilles se tiennent ensemble sous la forme d'une échelle, avec moins de risque de tomber et de faire des marques sur le mur dans le processus .
La demande de brevet européen EP 2979675 décrit un autre exemple de canne anglaise dont le repose-bras est muni d'un aimant pour aider à maintenir la béquille de l'avant- bras .
Inconvénient de l'art antérieur
L'inconvénient des cannes anglaises selon l'art antérieur est que lorsque l'utilisateur les pose contre un mobilier ou un mur, elles ont tendance à tomber, par glissement sur le bord du meuble ou le long du mur, ou par basculement par rapport au pivot cylindrique. La chute de la canne est non seulement source de bruit et de frayeurs, mais oblige aussi l'utilisateur à se pencher pour les ramasser, au risque de glisser à son tour ou de faire un faux mouvement et d'aggraver ses séquelles ou son handicap.
Cette situation est d'autant plus fréquente que les cannes sont généralement posées par paire, et que le glissement de l'une entraîne la chute des deux.
Ce manque de stabilité conduit parfois les utilisateurs à les poser à l'envers, la coque d'avant-bras formant une surface d'appui plus large. Il en résulte un
problème d'hygiène : arrivés à la table de repas, certains utilisateurs posent leurs cannes le long de la table, debout mais à l'envers. Du coup le haut de la canne se retrouve en bas avec une assise plus importante grâce à la coque de l'appui brachial (support de l'avant bras) mais avec le pivot, traînant par terre habituellement, se retrouvant à la hauteur des assiettes et/ou des visages.
Solution apportée par l'invention
Afin de remédier à ces inconvénients, la présente invention concerne selon son acception la plus générale une canne anglaise constituée par une tige tubulaire et une coque d'avant-bras, prolongée par une poignée, comportant au moins un aimant, caractérisée en ce que :
• le pivot fixé à l'extrémité distale de ladite tige tubulaire ainsi que ladite tige tubulaire présentent une section carrée,
• ladite tige tubulaire présente au moins un aimant permanent sur la face opposée à ladite poignée,
• ledit manchon présente au moins un aimant à sa surface extérieure .
Avantageusement, ladite coque présente une pluralité d'aimants répartis sur la surface extérieure.
Selon une variante, ledit aimant sur la face opposée à ladite poignée s'étend sur une longueur de 5 à 20 centimètres en dessous du bord inférieur de ladite coque.
Selon une autre variante, ladite coque présente à sa surface intérieure une mousse (11).
Description détaillée d'un exemple non limitatif de
1 ' invention
La présente invention sera mieux comprise à la lecture de la description détaillée d'un exemple non limitatif de l'invention qui suit, se référant aux dessins annexés où :
- la figure 1 représente une vue de face avant de la canne selon l'invention
- la figure 2 représente une vue de coté de la canne selon l'invention
- la figure 3 représente une vue de face arrière de la canne selon l'invention.
La canne selon l'invention est constituée de deux tubes (1, 2) de section carrée, en aluminium. Ils sont escamotables et verrouillables selon une des positions déterminées par des trous de réglage par un doigt d'indexation au niveau d'une bague de réglage (10).
Une coque d'avant-bras (3) est surmoulée ou glissée sur l'extrémité supérieure de la tige supérieure (1)· Sa surface intérieure est recouverte par une mousse (11). Cette coque (3) est prolongée du coté opposé à la partie concave par une poignée (4). La hauteur totale de la canne est réglable, entre 69 et 99 cm par exemple.
La coque (3) présente sur sa surface extérieure, à l'arrière et de coté des aimants permanents (6, 7, 8).
Sur son côté intérieur de la coque (3) supportant l'avant bras, une pièce en métal est disposée pour permettre l'aimantation avec l'autre canne.
Ces aimants (6 à 8) permettent l'accrochage de la canne à une surface métallique, et notamment à une plaque métallique qui peut être posée sur le mur, dans différents
lieux où l'utilisateur doit déposer provisoirement les cannes, par exemple les WC, la cuisine, la salle à manger...
Une paire de cannes se compose d'une canne droite et d'une canne gauche. Les aimants (6 à 8) sont collés sur les deux cotés et l'arrière de chaque coque (3) avec une direction d'aimantation, par exemple la face Nord de chaque aimant (6 à 8) contre la coque (3). Pour la canne posée contre une plaque métallique, l'un de ces aimants (6 à 8), normalement celui qui est sur l'arrière de la canne, s'aimantera sur la plaque métallique fixée au mur. La coque de la canne complémentaire pourra se loger dans la concavité de la coque (3) de la canne appuyée contre le mur, et ses aimants (6 à 8) s'aimanteront avec les aimants (6 à 8) de l'autre canne.
L'extrémité inférieure de la tige (2) est munie d'un bouchon présentant un filetage pour recevoir une tige filetée surmoulée par un pivot parallélépipédique (5).
La section carrée des tiges (1, 2) et la section carrée du pivot (5) réduisent le risque de roulement de la canne sur le bord d'une table ou d'un meuble.
La tige (1) présente également un aimant (9) fixé sur la face arrière, opposée à la poignée (4), s'étendant depuis le bord inférieur de la coque (3), sur une longueur d'une dizaine de centimètres. Cet aimant (9) permet de maintenir par le couplage magnétique les cannes sur le bord d'un lit métallique (en ephad, à l'hôpital, clinique...), ou sur le bord métallique d'une table à manger ou encore d'un mobilier quelconque sur le bord duquel est collé une bande métallique plastifiée, afin de respecter l'hygiène, la sécurité et le confort de rangement des cannes à proximité de l'usager lors des repas par exemple.
Variante
Optionnellement , la canne selon l'invention peut être munie d'un podomètre connecté. Ce podomètre intègre un module de communication radio-fréquence, par exemple selon le standard Bluetooth, et un ou plusieurs capteurs, par exemple un accéléromètre tridimensionnel et un altimètre ainsi qu'un microcontrôleur exécutant un programme de traitement et de transmission des données.
Ce podomètre permet de mesurer le nombre de pas, la distance parcourue, le nombre de marches gravies d'un escalier. Le podomètre peut synchroniser ses données sans fil avec un ordinateur (PC ou Mac) ou avec une application de téléphone Bluetooth (iOS, Android ou Windows) ou encore avec un équipement e-santé pour interpréter le niveau d'activité, et pour permettre de comparer ce niveau avec un objectif quotidien personnalisé. Il produira des constantes qui permettront à l'équipe soignante, la famille,... d'avoir une vue exacte et précise des tendances, des hausses mais aussi des baisses de «régime» du patient et récupérer des constantes journalières permettant une évaluation du patient vis à vis de la marche et ainsi de son degré de récupération :
Le podomètre pourra être fixé à la canne à l'aide d'un support collant de type scratch.
Claims
Revendications
1 - Canne anglaise constituée par une tige tubulaire (1, 2) et une coque d'avant-bras (3) prolongée par une poignée (4), comportant au moins un aimant, caractérisée en ce que :
• le pivot (5) fixé à l'extrémité distale de ladite tige tubulaire (2) ainsi que ladite tige tubulaire (2) présentent une section carrée,
• ladite tige tubulaire (1, 2) présente au moins un aimant permanent (9) sur la face opposée à ladite poignée (4),
• ladite coque (3) présente au moins un aimant (6 à 8) à sa surface extérieure.
2 - Canne anglaise selon la revendication 1 caractérisée en ce que ladite coque (3) présente une pluralité d'aimants (6 à 8) répartis sur la surface extérieure.
3 - Canne anglaise selon la revendication 1 caractérisée en ce que ledit aimant (9) sur la face opposée à ladite poignée s'étend sur une longueur de 5 à 20 centimètres en dessous du bord inférieur de ladite coque (3).
4 - Canne anglaise selon la revendication 1 caractérisée en ce que ladite coque (3) présente à sa surface intérieure une mousse (11).
5 - Canne anglaise selon la revendication 1 caractérisée en ce qu'elle comporte un podomètre connecté.
