Description

BIDET MECHANISM MOUNTING SYSTEM
Subject of the Invention
The invention relates to a bidet mechanism mounting system, which enables the bidet mechanism, used in the toilets in order to prevent wastewater from flowing into the clean water installation, to be mounted to a toilet.
State of the Art
The cleansing after the use of a toilet is of importance for the personal cleanliness. For this reason, the bidet apparatus are often employed in the toilets. However, in the applications where the bidet apparatus are directly connected to the clean water installation, the possibility exists for the dirty water to mix into the clean water installation. In case a clogging is present in the wastewater installation and the wastewater accumulates within the toilet bowl as a result of such clogging and also in case a vacuum develops in the water installation to which the bidet apparatus is connected, the dirty water inside the toilet bowl may mix into the clean water installation, thereby causing the clean water to become contaminated. The flowing of the wastewater within the toilet bowl to the clean water installation may lead to serious health problems.
Various bidet apparatus are employed in order to prevent this situation. In such bidet apparatus, most of the time an air gap is formed between the bidet end opening into the toilet bowl and the clean water installation, thereby preventing the wastewater from mixing into the clean water installation even in case the interior of the toilet bowl has become filled with dirty water for any reason and a vacuum effect has developed in the clean water installation. The document no. DE202012002585 discloses a system, which forms an air gap between the end of the bidet apparatus opening into the toilet bowl and the connection end of the clean water installation. This system has two ends. The clean water installation is connected to one end and the water coming from the clean water installation is sprayed towards the other end with the help of a sprayer. Said sprayed water is collected by a collector connected to the other end of the system and is conveyed to the bidet apparatus. While the sprayed water passes to the other end, some quantity of water is unable to reach the other end and thus drips. Said dripping water is conveyed by means of an opening into the toilet bowl. Due to the lack of a physical connection between the end of the clean water installation and the end of the bidet apparatus, i.e. due to the presence of an air gap between the same, a situation like the flow of the wastewater into the clean water installation is out of question.
It is necessary to mount the system described in the document no. DE202012002585 and the other similar systems with an air gap in some way on the toilet or the flush tank. For the mounting of these systems, the platforms placed into the flush tank or mounted on the toilet are mostly utilized. The document no. US20150354190 describes a platform positioned on the toilet. Said apparatus is placed on the platform described in said document, wherein one end thereof is connected to the clean water installation and the other end thereof is connected to the bidet apparatus. The water that drips during the spraying of the water from the end to which the clean water installation is connected is delivered into the toilet bowl by means of the platform. The platform described in the document no. US20150354190 is fixed on the toilet, the intermediate tap regulating the water flow rate, connection hoses and other connection members are located within said platform and the toilet seat cover is also mounted on said platform. Such platforms may cause certain problems because they occupy much space and eliminate the aesthetic appearance and also because they are not compatible with the standard toilets and toilet seat covers. In addition to all these, the water stains may develop on the ceramic surface since the dripping water flows from the upper part of the toilet along the ceramic surface and then falls into the toilet bowl, and the development of such water stains is an undesirable situation.
With the invention, there is described a bidet mechanism mounting system, which enables the systems operating based on the principle described in the document no. DE202012002585 or the systems operating based on a similar principle with the water being transferred via an air gap to be mounted on the toilets, wherein said bidet mechanism mounting system is preferably positioned at a location between the hinges of the toilet seat cover and is thus able to be used with the existing toilet seat covers and wherein the dripping water is delivered to the clean water channel, which enables the clean water coming from the flush tank to be conveyed into the toilet bowl.
Object of the Invention
An object of the invention is to develop a bidet mechanism mounting system, which enables the bidet mechanism, used in the toilets in order to prevent the wastewater from flowing into the clean water installation, to be mounted to the existing toilets without causing any change in the exterior design of the toilet and in the flushing system.
Another object of the invention is to develop a bidet mechanism mounting system, wherein the water connections for the bidet mechanism are also included in the mounting system and thus the possibility of malfunction and leakage is minimized.
Another object of the invention is to develop a bidet mechanism mounting system, which enables the bidet mechanism, used in the toilets in order to prevent the wastewater from flowing into the clean water installation, to be mounted on the toilet preferably at a location between the hinges of the toilet seat cover, wherein said bidet mechanism mounting system does not disturb the aesthetic appearance and is able to be used with the existing toilet seat covers.

The end portions of the connection member (4) penetrate into the connection member slot (214) to enable the hose (3) to be secured within the hose slot (23). A hose (3) is likewise used in conveying the water, which has passed through the air gap and has reached the water outlet end (12), to the bidet apparatus (91). One end of this hose (3) is connected to the water outlet end (12), while the other end thereof is connected to the bidet apparatus (91). A connection member slot (214) is present also on the slot with small diameter (211). The hose (3) is fixed on the bidet mechanism (1) and the mounting system (2) by means of the connection member (4), which is placed into the connection member slot (214) on the slot with small diameter (211). The hose (3) additionally passes through the hose slot (23) to be connected with the bidet apparatus (91). The hose slot (23) also provides support for fixing the hose (3).
The mounting system (2) is positioned on the toilet mounting hole (92), which is located on the toilet and which opens into the clean water channel (93) of the toilet. The toilet connection protrusion (26) of the mounting system (2) penetrates into the toilet mounting hole (92). In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the mounting system (2) comprises at least one, preferably more than one toilet connection tabs (24). These toilet connection tabs (24) enable the mounting system (2) to be fixed in the toilet mounting hole (92) located on the toilet.
According to another preferred embodiment of the invention, the mounting system (2) may be fixed in the toilet mounting hole (92) by means of a connection system that opens towards the sides of the toilet mounting hole (92), in a manner similar to the method employed for mounting the sockets in the walls that relies on the tightening action with the help of a bolt.
It is necessary to ensure the sealing of the toilet mounting hole (92), because the clean water is conveyed into the toilet bowl via the clean water channel (93). For this purpose, at least one sealing member (5) is utilized. Owing to the sealing member (5), which is placed on the toilet connection protrusion (26), i.e. between the toilet connection protrusion (26) and the toilet mounting hole (92), the water leakages from the toilet mounting hole (92) are prevented in case the clean water channel (93) becomes filled with water. In other words, the sealing is achieved between the mounting system (2) and the clean water channel (93).
Although it is desired to prevent the passage of water from the clean water channel (93) to the toilet outer surface, it is necessary to convey the waters, which flow through the bidet mechanism drip opening (16), to the clean water channel (93). The bidet mechanism drip opening (16), which is placed into the mounting system drip slot (22), is connected directly to the clean water channel (93) and enables the quantity of water that drips while the water coming from the water inlet end (11) passes through the air gap to be drained into the clean water channel (93).
The overflow of water to outside of the toilet via the bidet mechanism drip opening (16) in case the clean water channel (93) becomes filled with water is an undesirable situation that needs to be prevented. In other words, whereas the passage of water is desired from the bidet mechanism drip opening (16) to the clean water channel (93), the passage of water from the clean water channel (93) to the bidet mechanism drip opening (16) is undesirable. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, preferably at least one ball float (6) is utilized in order to prevent such undesired water passage. The ball float (6) is located at the part of the mounting system drip slot (22) that opens into the clean water channel (93). By way of fixing at least one ball float cover (61) to the mounting system (2), the movement of the ball float (6) is limited between the mounting system (2) and the ball float cover (61). The ball float (6) is able to freely move within the ball float cover (61) in the direction of the gravitational force or in an opposite direction. This movement of the ball float (6) is provided owing to the buoyancy of the water within the clean water channel (93) and to the gravitational force. There are present channels on the ball float cover (61), through which the water may pass. In case the clean water channel (93) becomes filled with water, the interior of the ball float cover (61) is also filled with water and, owing to the buoyancy effect imparted by the water and owing to the air gap within the ball float (6), the ball float (6) moves in the direction that is opposite to the gravitational force and plugs the mouth of the mounting system drip slot (22) that opens to the clean water channel (93); in other words, it blocks the connection between the bidet mechanism drip opening (16) and the clean water channel (93). When the water level drops inside the clean water channel (93), the ball float (6) moves this time in the direction of the gravitational force, thereby enabling the mouth of the mounting system drip slot (22) that opens to the clean water channel (93) to be opened; in other words, opening the connection between the bidet mechanism drip opening (16) and the clean water channel (93). The ball float cover (61) is fixed on the ball float cover connection protrusion (25) that is located on the lower surface of the mounting system (2).
According to a preferred embodiment, the invention comprises at least one valve (7). Said valve (7) is positioned on the surface of the mounting system drip slot (22) that opens into the clean water channel (93). The valve (7) is secured to the mounting system drip slot (22) via at least one valve connection member (72). The valve connection member (72) prevents the valve (7) from getting out of the mounting system drip slot (22), while at the same time allowing the movement of the same within the mounting system drip slot (22) in the direction of the gravitational force or in an opposite direction. There is present a valve air gap (71) on the lower surface of the valve (7). When the clean water channel (93) becomes filled with water, the air that is entrapped within the valve air gap (71) applies a buoyancy force on the valve (7) and enables the valve (7) to move in a direction opposite to the gravitational force to thereby plug the mouth of the mounting system drip slot (22) that opens into the clean water channel (93); in other words, it enables the connection between the bidet mechanism drip opening (16) and the clean water channel (93) to be blocked. Preferably at least one sealing member (5) is located on the valve (7) and plugs the mouth of the mounting system drip slot (22) that opens into the clean water channel (93) depending on the movement of the valve (7) in the direction opposite to the gravitational force. In case the water level drops again within the clean water channel (93), the valve (7) moves in the direction of the gravitational force under the effect of gravity to thereby unplug the mouth of the mounting system drip slot (22) that opens into the clean water channel (93); in other words, it enables the connection between the bidet mechanism drip opening (16) and the clean water channel (93) to be opened.
According to another preferred embodiment, the invention comprises at least one drip channel (8). The drip channel (8) is secured on the surface of the mounting system drip slot (22) that opens into the clean water channel (93), while its end is connected to the bidet apparatus (91). The drip channel (8) extends from the rear surface of the toilet to its front side; in other words, it extends with a downward inclination in the same direction as the flow direction of the water through the clean water channel (93). In this way, it enables the waters, which drip while the water, entering the bidet mechanism (1) via the water inlet end (11), passes through the air gap and is conveyed to the water outlet end (12), to be delivered to the clean water channel (93). Owing to the positioning of the drip channel (8) in the same direction as the direction the water coming from the flush tank follows as it passes through the clean water channel (93) while being delivered to the toilet bowl, a negative pressure is generated within the drip channel (8) and as a result, the water within the clean water channel (93) is not able to move upwards from within the mounting system drip slot (22). In other words, the dripping water may be delivered to the clean water channel (93), but no passage of water occurs from the clean water channel (93) to the bidet mechanism drip opening (16). Depending on the preference, the mounting system (2) may be positioned on the toilet, preferably at a location between the hinges of the toilet seat cover or at a location behind the toilet seat cover and it may be used with the existing toilet seat covers. After the mounting system (2) is mounted on the toilet, a mounting system cover (27) may be fitted on the same, again depending on the preference. This mounting system cover (27) prevents the water from splashing outside, conceals the bad appearance and enables to obtain an aesthetic appearance.
With the mounting system (2) according to the invention, it becomes possible to perform the mounting of the bidet mechanism (1), used in the toilets in order to prevent the wastewater from flowing into the clean water installation, to the toilets in a manner independent from the type of the flush tank and without the need for any change in the flush tank and in the mounting of the hanging toilet bowl to the wall.
