Le connecteur comprend en outre un joint souple, disposé entre la batterie et le consommable lorsque le consommable est retenu par le connecteur. Le joint flexible comprend une ou plusieurs fentes de passage d'air, de telle sorte que lorsqu'un consommable est retenu par le connecteur, une voie d'écoulement d'air est fournie par une entrée d'air du dispositif par la ou les fentes de passage d'air et dans le consommable.
