Description

A REAR AXLE BRAKE PACK
TECHNICAL FIELD
The present invention relates to a brake pack associated with the rear axle in agricultural and construction equipment.
PRIOR ART
Brake systems provide deceleration and stopping of motorized vehicles. Brake systems are also used for preventing acceleration of the vehicle which moves downhill and for sustaining the stopping condition of the stopping vehicle. Brake systems provide stopping or deceleration of the vehicle by turning the kinetic energy in the vehicle into heat energy by means of friction.
In tractors, the braking system exists at the rear axles. The brake system bears vital importance for tractors and for other vehicles. Therefore, the brake system is subjected to specific analysis and controls during production.
Brake systems have a structure which begins from the foot pedal of the user and it is up to the brake linings in the wheels and this structure occupies wide space and it is positioned to the different elements of the vehicle. In the prior art, a section of the parts forming the brake system is assembled onto the transmission and a section of said parts is assembled on the rear axle, and the brake system pack is formed. This leads to some problems related to assembly duration and tests. The most important problem is that brake systems cannot be tested without being connected to transmission. Therefore, the analysis and control of brake systems are difficult and time consuming.
As a result, because of all of the abovementioned problems, an improvement is required in the related technical field. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a brake pack associated with the rear axle in agricultural and construction equipment, for eliminating the above mentioned disadvantages and for bringing new advantages to the related technical field.
An object of the present invention is to provide a brake pack whose production and assembly and tests are facilitated.
In order to realize all of the abovementioned objects and the objects which are to be deducted from the detailed description below, the present invention is a brake pack associated with the rear axle in agricultural and construction equipment. Accordingly, a brake lining group is provided between a brake holder and a brake ring connected to a rear axle body, at least one piston is configured to be pushed towards the brake ring by the brake oil coming from a brake oil inlet, at least one hand brake ring configured to be pushed towards the brake ring by means of the drive received from a hand brake arm. Thus, whole of the brake pack is positioned in the rear axle body. Thereby, the brakes can be tested in an independent manner from transmission.
In a possible embodiment of the present invention, a stop part is provided having a channel extending between the brake oil inlet and the piston.
In a possible embodiment of the present invention, at least one bolt is provided which is connected to the stop part in order to provide connection of the brake pack to the rear axle body.
In a possible embodiment of the present invention, at least one dust seal is provided at the part where the brake arm enters into the rear axle body.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE FIGURES
Figure 1 is a representative cross-sectional view of the subject matter brake pack on the rear axle body.
Figure 2 is a representative lateral view of the subject matter brake pack on the rear axle body. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
In this detailed description, the subject matter brake pack (20) for rear axles is explained with references to examples without forming any restrictive effect only in order to make the subject more understandable.
As can be seen in Figure 1 , the subject matter brake pack (20) is connected to a rear axle body (10).
In more details, a planet group (11) is provided in the rear axle body (10). There is a brake holder (30) provided in the vicinity of the planet group (11). The brake lining group (40), provided next to the brake holder (30), is configured to be pushed towards the brake holder (30) by means of a brake ring (50). There is a piston (72) provided on the opposite side of the brake holder (30) when compared with the brake lining group (40). The piston (72) extends into the stop part (70). A channel (71) provided in the stop part (70) is connected to a brake oil inlet (60). The brake oil inlet (60) and the channel (71) are connected to each other by means of a connection element (61).
Moreover, a hand brake ring (82) is provided in the vicinity of the brake ring (50). The hand brake ring (82) is connected to a hand brake arm (80). At least one dust seal (81) is provided in the part where the hand brake arm (80) enters into the rear axle body (10).
In accordance with said embodiment, when brake is stepped on, the oil, coming through the brake oil inlet (60), advances along the channel (71) and pushes the piston (72). The piston (72) pushed by oil displaces and pushes the brake ring (50) forwardly and provides tightening of the brake lining group (40) between the brake ring (50) and the brake holder (30).
On the other hand, when the hand brake is drawn, hand brake arm (80) is also drawn and the hand brake ring (82) moves axially by means of the balls (not illustrated in the figures) provided on the ball housings (not illustrated in the figures) and exerts pressure to the brake ring (50) and provides the brake lining group (40) to be tightened between the brake ring (50) and the brake holder (30).
In said embodiment, the items providing braking by means of oil coming from the brake oil inlet (60) and all of the items providing braking by means of the force exerted onto the hand brake arm (80) are connected to the rear axle body (10) by means of at least one bolt (90) through the stop part (70). Thus, whole of the brake pack (20) is fixed on the rear axle body (10). By means of this, the brakes can be tested in an independent manner from the transmission. The protection scope of the present invention is set forth in the annexed claims and cannot be restricted to the illustrative disclosures given above, under the detailed description. It is because a person skilled in the relevant art can obviously produce similar embodiments under the light of the foregoing disclosures, without departing from the main principles of the present invention.
