The memory 110 may store instructions executable by the processor 120. The processor 120 may execute the instructions stored in the memory 110. The processor 120 may execute the application installed in the mobile apparatus 100 according to a user input. The processor 120 may provide a virtual keyboard for user input and various fields related to the virtual keyboard on the screen of the mobile apparatus 100 through the user interface device 130.
The processor 120 may receive a text into an input field through a virtual keyboard from the user interface device 130. The processor 120 may provide recommended words related to the received text to a recommended word providing field above the virtual keyboard. For example, the processor 120 may provide an autocomplete word including the received text or a word having a high correlation with the received text as a recommended word to the recommended word providing field.
The processor 120 may perform continuous recommended word input in such a manner as to repeat, according to a long press on a recommended word provided to the recommended word providing field, a long-press drag of dragging while maintaining a contact (touch by contact) of the long press on an extended recommended word providing field without disconnection of the contact of the long press. The processor 120 may perform the continuous recommended word input by dragging and selecting any one of predicted recommended words as a word following a long-pressed recommended word, in the extended recommended word providing field. The processor 120 may perform the continuous recommended word input while maintaining an initial contact according to the contact of the long press until completion of the continuous recommended word input in the process of repeating the long-press drag for the continuous recommended word input.
The processor 120 may predict a word following the long-pressed recommended word and provide predicted recommended words to the extended recommended word providing field. For example, an N-gram language model may be a probabilistic language model that probabilistically represents a chain of N words. The N-gram language model may be a model representing the probability that N consecutive words will occur. The N-gram language model may be a representation of a probability value of occurrence frequency according to a statistical method, with respect to each of N words of various combinations. As such, the N-gram language model may be used to predict an Nth word from (N-1) word strings and output a probability value thereof.
The processor 120 may select the word following the long-pressed recommended word by dragging from the long-pressed recommended word to any one of the predicted recommended words. The processor 120 may continue the continuous recommended word input when the contact is maintained and determine the completion of the continuous recommended word input when the contact is disconnected, as a result of determining whether the contact is disconnected after the drag. The processor 120 may complete the continuous recommended word input when the contact state on the extended recommended word providing field is not maintained during repetition of the long-press drag.
The processor 120 may input the recommended words selected according to the repeated long-press drag as a word string into the input field according to completion of the continuous recommended word input.

Hereinafter, a process of receiving a recommended word continuously from a virtual keyboard will be described in detail.
FIG. 2 is a diagram illustrating a process of receiving a recommended word continuously from a virtual keyboard according to an embodiment.
Referring to FIG. 2, a process of receiving a recommended word continuously from a virtual keyboard in order to input a word string (or sentence) "I think a lot" is illustrated. As illustrated in FIG. 2, an input field may be displayed above a virtual keyboard to display a user's input. A recommended word providing field may be located between the virtual keyboard and the input field. When there is a text input of the user, the recommended word providing field may be provided with recommended words corresponding to an input text and a predetermined number of recommended words having a high priority based on usage frequency may be displayed.
Referring to FIG. 2, as the user touches and inputs "I" in the virtual keyboard, autocomplete words including "I" may be recommended in the recommended word providing field. As the user performs a long press on a desired recommended word in the recommended word providing field, a continuous recommended word input function may be activated and a word following a long-pressed recommended word may be predicted and provided to an extended recommended word providing field. As illustrated in FIG. 2, as the user long-presses on "I", the words "don't", "am", and "think" that may follow "I" may be provided in an extended recommended word providing field with a new recommended word bar. The user may perform a drag from "I" to "think" while maintaining the long press on "I". When the user stays for a predetermined time after performing a drag to "think", since it is determined that a long press is again performed on "think", the words "a", "we", and "he" that may follow "think" may be provided in an extended recommended word providing field with a new recommended word bar. The user may perform a drag from "think" to "a" while maintaining the long press on "think". When the user stays for a predetermined time after performing a drag to "a", since it is determined that a long press is again performed on "a", the words "little", "lot", and "man" that may follow "a" may be provided in an extended recommended word providing field with a new recommended word bar. The user may perform a drag from "a" to "lot" while maintaining the long press on "a". When a contact that has been maintained since the initial long press on "I" is disconnected from "lot", it may be seen that the continuous recommended word input is completed. In other words, it may be seen that the user has performed the continuous recommended word input while maintaining the contact state during the repetition of the long-press drag three times until the disconnection of the contact after the drag to the recommended word "lot" after the initial contact according to the long press on the recommended word "I". In FIG. 2, only the currently-dragged recommended word is displayed to be discriminated; however, in order to show the history of consecutively-input words, all recommended words dragged in the continuous recommended word input process may be displayed to be discriminated or a drag trace thereof may be left.
As illustrated in FIG. 2, the processor 100 may extend the recommended word providing field by increasing the number of recommended word bars constituting the recommended word providing field in proportion to the number of repetition of the long-press drag performed with maintenance of the user's contact. The mobile apparatus 100 may sequentially accumulate the recommended word bars according to repetition of the long-press drag to provide the predicted recommended words to the extended recommended word providing field. In the case of FIG. 2, since there were three long-press drags, it may be seen that three new recommended word bars were generated sequentially. In an example of FIG. 2, the long-press drag is repeated three times and thus three recommended word bars are added; however, the number of recommended word bars added is not limited thereto. Also, the number of recommended word bars displayed in the extended recommended word providing field may be adjusted according to the user's settings. For example, the mobile apparatus 100 may perform a control operation to increase the number of recommended word bars to a set number and then include only the recently-added recommended word bars in the extended recommended word providing field according to the priority thereof based on the recent addition order thereof after the number of recommended word bars reaches the set number.
FIG. 3 is a diagram illustrating a process of receiving a recommended word continuously from a virtual keyboard according to another embodiment.
As in the embodiment illustrated in FIG. 2, a process of receiving a recommended word continuously from a virtual keyboard in order to input a sentence "I think a lot" is illustrated. The difference from the embodiment illustrated in FIG. 2 is the form of an extended recommended word providing field.
As illustrated in FIG. 3, the mobile apparatus 100 may extend a recommended word providing field by increasing the number of recommended word bars constituting the recommended word providing field to two. The mobile apparatus 100 may provide predicted recommended words to an extended recommended word providing field by alternately using two recommended word bars according to repetition of a long-press drag performed with maintenance of a user's contact. In the case of FIG. 3, although there are three long-press drags, since only one new recommended word bar is added, a total of two recommended word bars are alternately used for each long-press drag to provide new recommended words.
FIG. 4 is a flowchart illustrating a method of receiving a recommended word continuously from a virtual keyboard according to an embodiment. The above description of the mobile apparatus 100 for receiving a recommended word continuously from a virtual keyboard may be similarly applied to a method of receiving a recommended word continuously from a virtual keyboard, although omitted below.
In operation S410, the mobile apparatus 100 may receive a text into an input field through a virtual keyboard.
In operation S420, the mobile apparatus 100 may provide recommended words related to the received text to a recommended word providing field above the virtual keyboard.
In operation S430, the mobile apparatus 100 may perform continuous recommended word input by dragging and selecting any one of predicted recommended words as a word following a long-pressed recommended word, in an extended recommended word providing field, in such a manner as to repeat, according to a long press on a recommended word, a long-press drag of dragging while maintaining a contact of the long press on the extended recommended word providing field without disconnection of the contact of the long press. The mobile apparatus 100 may perform the continuous recommended word input while maintaining an initial contact according to the contact of the long press until completion of the continuous recommended word input in the process of repeating the long-press drag for the continuous recommended word input.

In operation S530, the mobile apparatus 100 may select the word following the long-pressed recommended word by dragging from the long-pressed recommended word to any one of the predicted recommended words.
In operation S540, the mobile apparatus 100 may continue the continuous recommended word input when the contact is maintained and determine the completion of the continuous recommended word input when the contact is disconnected, as a result of determining whether the contact is disconnected after the drag.
Referring again to FIG. 4, in operation S440, the mobile apparatus 100 may input the recommended words selected according to the repeated long-press drag as a word string into the input field according to completion of the continuous recommended word input. Accordingly, the number of input keystrokes for inputting words to express a sentence may be significantly reduced.
