Definitions

  • This invention relates to an apparatus for utilizing water movement energy to generate electricity.
  • the apparatus is thus useful to produce electric energy by taping the energy intrinsic in water movement in canals, rivers, seas and oceans to generate electricity.
  • Still another disadvantage associated with the known devices is that known devices are unable to tap energy from water streams having low depths.
  • an object of the present invention is to provide an apparatus for utilizing water movement energy available in canals, rivers, seas, oceans, etc. which obviates the disadvantages associated with the prior art.
  • Another object of the invention is to provide an apparatus for utilizing water movement energy and to generate electricity in all kinds of conditions that is when the apparatus is submerged in water partially or fully.
  • Yet another object of the invention is to provide an apparatus for utilizing water movement energy and to generate electricity and which is cheap in cost, but has high efficiency.
  • Still another object of the invention is to provide an apparatus for utilizing water movement energy and to generate electricity which can work irrespective of the water level present in the river, sea and ocean in order to tap the intrinsic energy of the water movement.
