- an apparatus for utilizing water movement energy comprising plurality of blade adapted to be secured with a shaft being secured with a support frame at an angle with respect to the water level available in the water resources, the support frame being mounted on a pedestal adapted to be secured with a plurality of support rods provided at angle, the angular support rods 5 being secured with a main support frame, one end of the angular shaft being coupled with a gearbox, adapted to be secured with an alternator provided for generating electricity, a cover being provided such that to create an air trap to facilitate rotation of the blades uninterruptedly.

- the top end of the angular shaft 2 is coupled with a gearbox 7 through a coupling 8.
- the shaft of the gearbox 7 is adapted to be secured with an alternator (not shown) provided for generating electricity.
- a cover 9, adapted to be secured with the pedestal 4, is provided such that to provide an air trap at the side of the blades which are kept at a slanting height above the water level available in the water resources.
- the blade 1 are of flat plate type blades and thus the manufacturing cost of the blades is reduced substantially.
- the blades 1 are secured with the angular shaft by means of riveting, welding and or nuts and volts.
- presence of the water inside the cover 9 is reduced by increasing air pressure inside the cover 9. During the operation of the device, the water pushes the turbine blade 1 which are in contact with the water, but the blades rotates in the air trap provided inside the cover 9 at the other side without obstruction a the water is not present there.
- the angular shaft is rotated and consequently shaft of the alternator is rotated and electricity is generated.
