Dans l’exemple de mode de réalisation, l’épaisseur est de 3 mm et est réalisé en matériau composite qui comporte des fibres courtes. Lors d’un choc contre une barrière qui s’étend sur toute la hauteur de la face avant du véhicule, l’absorbeur de chocs 6 forme avec le moteur 3, un ensemble homogène qui répartit au mieux la déformation des parties du véhicule qui viennent en contact de cet ensemble. L’absorbeur de choc 6 doit présenter une bonne résistance à un choc contre un obstacle qui se déforme comme une barrière, justement pour homogénéifier la déformation de la barrière, mais doit pouvoir s’écraser dans le cas d’un choc contre une structure rigide comme un mur. Un tel comportement est adapté à des matières métalliques tendres comme l’aluminium, des matières plastiques ou des matériaux composites. The absorber 6 also has a height adapted for an upper portion 61 of the shock absorber 6 extends above the box of 4 speeds up to a height that is substantially that of the engine 4. Such a height depends on the size of the engine 3 and is generally between 250 and 350 mm. More particularly, in the exemplary embodiment as shown, the height of the shock absorber is taken substantially equal to 300 mm. A holding device 7 forms a reinforcement for the upper part 61 of the shock absorber 6. The holding device 7 has a square shape and is interposed between the upper part of the gearbox 3 and the upper part 61 of the the shock absorber 6. The holding device 7 is generally made of metal with a thickness of the walls which is between 2 and 3 mm, allowing it to withstand shock by bending, but without breaking. In the exemplary embodiment, the holding device 7 is made of steel and has a thickness of these walls of 2.5 mm. At the end of shock, it may still be interesting that the holding device 7 bends without breaking, which allows a metal such as steel. The holding device 7 is screwed onto the gearbox 3. The shock absorber 6, depending on the size of the gearbox 6, has a width along the transverse axis Y which is between 150 and 250 mm. In the exemplary embodiment, the width of the shock absorber is about 200 mm. The shock absorber 6 comprises a honeycomb structure with cavities 62 which are oriented along the longitudinal axis X. The cells 62 have walls whose thickness is between 2 and 4 mm and may be made of different materials. such as soft metal materials such as aluminum, plastics or composite materials. In the exemplary embodiment, the thickness is 3 mm and is made of composite material which comprises short fibers. During an impact against a barrier that extends over the entire height of the front face of the vehicle, the shock absorber 6 forms with the engine 3, a homogeneous assembly that best distributes the deformation of the parts of the vehicle that come in contact with this set. REVENDICATIONS
1.
