Definitions

  • PCT Patent Cooperation Treaty
  • the present invention relates generally to personal sanitary care items. More particularly, the present invention is a flatulence odor and sound filtering pad.
  • Flatulence is marked or affected by gases generated in the intestine or stomach of a person and passes through the rectum. It is normal for humans to pass flatus through the rectum, although the volume and frequency may vary greatly between individuals. It is also normal for intestinal gas passed through the rectum to have a characteristic feculent smell, although this too may vary in concentration. Flatus is brought to the rectum by specialized contractions of the muscles in the intestines and colon. The noises commonly associated with flatulence are caused by the vibration of anal sphincters, and occasionally by the closed buttocks. Both the noise and smell associated with flatus leaving the anus can be sources of embarrassment or comedy in many cultures.
  • FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the present invention with the first fabric outer layer partially peeled away, partially exposing the central channel and the second fabric outer layer in accordance with some embodiments.
  • FIG. 2 is a top view of the present invention in accordance with some embodiments.
  • FIG. 3 is a top view of the present invention with a removable scented thread in accordance with some embodiments.
  • the present invention is a sanitary pad for eliminating or reducing odor and sound resulting from flatulence.
  • the present invention is a product that will offer a pad that may be attached to the external surface of the anal ring (anal sphincter) of the user between the buttock/gluteal folds, where gas passes through.
