Description

ELECTRIC TRANSMISSION LINES TROUBLESHOOTING SYSTEM
The Related Art
Invention relates to troubleshooting system detecting faults and cuts in electric transmission lines used in electric power transfer and informing them to the concerned unit.
The invention relates to troubleshooting system transferring the data on electric transmission lines to concerned unit through stations in order to make it in more consistent, accurate, fast and secure.
Background of the Invention
Electricity power is transferred to the areas needing supply of it by means of electric poles and lines laid between them for many years. Electric transfer lines may pass from cities or rural lands subject to the region where electric is transferred. Electric transmission lines are defenceless against environmental physical conditions. Electric transmission lines may get failure because of flying living beings, wind, trees and similar problems.
In the current related art, a conventional method is employed for detection of faults on electric transmission lines. The residents of the region where electric transmission line passes through call the concerned unit and inform the fault. However, since all regions where electric transmission lines pass are not residence areas, cut and faults in rural areas can not be detected. Also recovery of faults and cuts delays.
In the literature search, it was seen that there are systems measuring current at electric transmission lines, transmitting such values to related units by use of GSM technologies. However, use of GSM technology for data transmission is not adequate and thus data transmission is not adequately accurate, fast and secure. Transmission of measurement data received from thousands of points to servers and controlling such data values can not be conducted by today’s GSM technology. Even if the number of measurement points is decreased, cost problem of GSM technology reduces applicability of the system. Patent document numbered TR 2016/13293 at Turkish Patent and Trademark office reads as: "Invention relates to electric cut control system and method. System consists of modems (1 ) generating start/stop signals related to electric mains of the associated building, field cabin (2) wherein internet access is checked for enhancement of accuracy of alarms, DPI servers (3) where signals from the models (1 ) are transmitted, a control module (4) where the signals from the modems (1 ) are sorted out from signals from other operators, a database (5) where data of power cut/power on specified as a result of applied control operation are recorded and servers (6) owned by electric distribution companies providing transmission of such data to electric distribution companies. Said method provides instant determination of electric cut by use of said system components and makes in ready for attempt to recover failure.”
In said invention, cuts and failures related electricity to the buildings by means of modems are tried to be tracked. Cuts occurring in the buildings are reported by those living in the building. Cuts in electric transmission lines can not be detected by the system. Because the system is applied to electric switchboards in the buildings.
