  • the User can create a highlight clip by selecting a video from content saved on their mobile device. After they choose one clip, they can select another clip of the same format (portrait or landscape) and merge these videos into 1 -highlight reel using the Trim editing tool. The user can merge as many clips together as they wish as long as the final highlight video does not exceed 30 seconds.
  • the user can TRIM a video by moving the scroll bar from the beginning or the end. Once the user selects the frame that they want and click save, the video editor removes the unwanted parts of the video.
  • the user can add a SPOTLIGHT to their video.
  • the user can drag the opaque circle directly onto the video. Once they remove their finger from the circle, it will remain on the video to draw the viewer's attention to that particular athlete within the video.

This allows for a quick and easy way to edit content from previously filmed videos. This is not currently coded in version 2.0 but will be available with version 3.0.

For example if a user is only interested in High School athletes they would simply select "High School” by sliding the radio button to the right. If a user only wants to view videos of "College basketball” and “Pro skateboarding” they can filter the video feed this way as well. Once a filter is selected the icon will turn to blue in the upper right hand corner. To remove the filter the user can select "disable all filters” but sliding this radio button to the right.

  • Twilio is a cross-platform SDK (software development kit). It has One to One chat, Group chat, and Rich messaging. Rich messaging includes a typing indicator and message read status that provide real time feedback. Push notification notifies users of new messages when their app is running in the background. Real time data storage stores all message history in the cloud and access that history from any device anywhere in the world. Message edit and removal instantly updates all locations when users edit or delete message. Local Sync sends outbound messages even when a user's device is disconnected, and sdk saves the message locally and sends it when the device reconnects. Progress marker knows who has seen the message and who hasn't.
  • the A*REEL platform tiranscodes the A*REEL video uploaded by the user to the required mobile format with HLS protocol. User can play video very smoothly with almost no buffering issue. By default the transcoded video will be private but will add open/view permission to the output bucket to make it public.
  • A*REEL can be utilized for other performers such as musicians, singers, actors, models, or even businessman/women (i.e. giving an important speech or presentation).
