Abstract
The invention relates to a beach towel fastening device, which comprises a hollow body (2) with a narrow, pointed lower end (2a), which can be embedded easily into soft terrain, and a wide, flat upper end (2b) that defines a mouth, and a cap (3) that adjusts to the perimeter edge of said mouth with sufficient clearance to allow the fabric of a towel (4) to be inserted therebetween and thus clamped and fastened between said upper end (2b) of the hollow body (2) and said cap (3). The cap (3) is preferably joined to the hollow body (2) via a flexible joining bridge (3a) and the hollow body (2) is in the shape of an inverted cone or inverted pyramid, having a height (h) of around 15 cm.
