Abstract

L'invention concerne un nouvel appareil, des systèmes et procédés utilisant une technologie de microactionnement fluidique qui permet l'insertion et le positionnement d'électrodes flexibles, sans nécessité de support de raidissement. Selon certains modes de réalisation, la présente invention permet une nette réduction du traumatisme subi par les tissus mous du cerveau pendant l'implantation et une amélioration de la biocompatibilité, la longévité et l'efficacité thérapeutique de l'électrode neuronale.
