Abstract

A safe filling and consumption system, meant to be used with refillable drinking water packagings, which increases the reliability of audit or control carried out by consumers and/or authorities on carboys filled with water, comprising; a fixed marking unit (10) providing application of a unique fixed marker (11) individually to each carboy; a central server (80) in which data of producer of the packaging, production date, date of expiry, filling company and the fixed marker (11) is stored; a control unit (20) which checks whether or not a carboy meets usability criteria using information reached through the fixed marker (11) on the carboy; a single use filling label (41) containing a unique code which is placed onto the mouth part/lid of the carboy filled in a filling unit (30), which rips upon attempted removal or when the lid is opened; a filling labeling unit (40) providing the filling label (41) to be connected to the carboy; a coupling unit (50) providing the fixed marker (11) present on the carboy and the filling label (41) placed on the mouth part/lid of the carboy to be coupled and for the filling label (41) to be activated on the central server (80); a regulation device (60) providing for authorities to access the data of the carboy through the central server (80) by scanning the filling label (41) and a mobile application running on a mobile device for consumers.
