Abstract
Disclosed is a method for treating sewage. In particular, the present invention relates to a method for treating sewage by utilizing the action of clay mixed with coal ash, wherein same belongs to the field of the treatment of sewage. The method involves first crushing clay, coal ash and lime, pouring the crushed mixture into sewage to be treated, and stirring same for 10 hours; and then introducing corn starch into the sewage to be treated, and rapidly stirring same for 10 minutes. The treatment cost is low, the adsorption and flocculation ability of the clay is strong, the sedimentation time is short, there is less sludge, and the effect and efficiency of the sewage treatment are further improved; in addition, the addition of corn starch and activated carbon further enhance the adsorption and flocculation ability, and no chemical preparation remains in the water after same has been treated.
