By the way, in the above-mentioned conventional musical instrument having a housing and a sound source, the sound generated in the housing may not efficiently go out from the desired opening of the housing (for example, the opening at the top of the housing in the upright piano) .
For example, in a general upright piano, a soundboard and an upper front plate and a lower front plate are arranged in parallel with each other in the front-rear direction of the casing (the direction orthogonal to the vertical direction). For this reason, the sound generated in the soundboard and propagated in the housing is repeatedly reflected and attenuated between the upper front plate or the lower front plate and the soundboard. As a result, there is a problem that the sound propagating in the housing can not be efficiently output to the outside from the opening at the top of the housing.
The present invention has been made in view of the above-described circumstances, and it is an object of the present invention to provide an instrument and an upright piano which can efficiently emit the sound generated in the housing from the desired opening of the housing. I assume.
A musical instrument according to the present invention comprises an inner space, a case having an opening connecting the inner space to the outside, a sound source generating sound and propagating the sound in the inner space, and an opening of the case outside the case. And a lid portion which can be disposed at a position where the opposing surface is inclined with respect to the opening of the casing, and the casing is provided in the internal space, and the casing generates the sound generated in the sound source And a reflective portion having a reflective surface that reflects in a direction approaching the opening of the light source.
The upright piano of the present invention has an inner space and a case having an opening for connecting the inner space to the outside, and a sound of vibration of a string hit by a hammer causing the sound transmitted by the piece to propagate in the inner space. A plate, a cover having an opposing surface facing the opening of the casing on the outside of the casing, and a lid portion that can be disposed at a position where the opposing surface is inclined with respect to the opening of the casing; Among them, a reflecting portion is provided at a position facing the inner surface of the sounding board, and has a reflecting surface that reflects the sound generated in the sounding board in a direction approaching the opening of the housing.
It is a side sectional view showing an upright piano concerning one embodiment of the present invention. It is a top view which shows the sound board and piece in the upright piano of FIG. It is a figure for demonstrating transmission of the sound in the upright piano of FIG. It is a sectional side view which shows the principal part of the upright piano which concerns on other embodiment of this invention.
Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. In this embodiment, an upright piano 1 (hereinafter referred to as a piano 1) is illustrated as a musical instrument according to the present invention.
In FIG. 1-3, the lateral direction of the piano 1 is the X axis direction, the longitudinal direction of the piano 1 is the Y axis direction, and the vertical direction of the piano 1 is Z as viewed from the player P of the piano 1 (see FIG. 3). It is in the axial direction.
As shown in FIG. 1, the piano 1 according to the present embodiment includes a housing 2, a soundboard (sound source) 3, a lid 4, and a reflector 5. In addition, the piano 1 of the present embodiment has a general upright piano configuration such as the keyboard 6, the action mechanism 7, the strings 8, and the pieces 9.
The housing 2 has an internal space 11 and an opening 12 connecting the internal space 11 to the outside.
The internal space 11 of the housing 2 in the present embodiment includes the upper front plate 13, the lower front plate 14, the pair of parent plates 15, the roof 16, the bottom plate 17, the shelf 18, the forehead 19, the keyboard portion 6 and the soundboard It is a space surrounded by three. That is, the keyboard unit 6 and the sound board 3 of the present embodiment constitute a part of the housing 2. The inner surface 3a of the sounding board 3 (the surface facing the inner side of the housing 2) is the inner surface 13a, 14a of the upper front plate 13 or the lower front plate 14 (the inner side of the housing 2) in the longitudinal direction of the piano 1 (Y axis direction). Facing the face). Further, the inner surface 3 a of the soundboard 3 is parallel to the inner surfaces 13 a and 14 a of the upper front plate 13 and the lower front plate 14.
The opening 12 of the housing 2 in the present embodiment is a region surrounded by the upper ends of the upper front plate 13 and the pair of parent plates 15 and the front end of the rear roof 16. In the present embodiment, the opening 12 of the housing 2 faces upward (in the Z-axis positive direction) of the housing 2.
The soundboard 3 generates sound and propagates it in the internal space 11 of the housing 2. The mechanism for generating sound in the soundboard 3 is similar to that of a general upright piano. That is, when the key 21 of the keyboard 6 is depressed, the hammer 22 of the action mechanism 7 strikes the string 8 stretched on the inner surface 3 a of the soundboard 3. The struck string 8 vibrates. The vibration of the strings 8 is transmitted to the soundboard 3 through the pieces 9 provided on the inner surface 3 a of the soundboard 3. As a result, the soundboard 3 vibrates in the thickness direction to generate a sound.
The soundboard 3 vibrates most at a portion where the vibration of the string 8 is transmitted through the piece 9. For this reason, the magnitude of the sound generated in the soundboard 3 is the largest in the portion of the soundboard 3 to which the vibration of the strings 8 is transmitted through the pieces 9.
The sound generated in the sounding board 3 is in a direction (mainly Y-axis negative direction) away from the outer surface 3b of the sounding board 3 (a surface facing the outside of the housing 2) mainly in the thickness direction of the sounding board 3; It propagates in the direction away from the inner surface 3a of the soundboard 3 (mainly in the Y-axis positive direction). That is, the sound generated in the soundboard 3 propagates to the rear and the front of the piano 1. As described above, the inner surface 3 a of the soundboard 3 formed on a flat surface is a sound emitting surface that emits the sound generated in the sound board 3.
The lid 4 has a facing surface 4 a facing the opening 12 of the housing 2 at the outside of the housing 2. The lid 4 is disposed at a position where the facing surface 4 a of the lid 4 is inclined with respect to the opening 12 of the housing 2 as illustrated in FIG. 1.
The lid 4 in the present embodiment is the front of the roof of a general upright piano and is connected to the front end of the rear 16 of the roof.
In the present embodiment, the facing surface 4a of the cover 4 is inclined in the upward direction (Z-axis positive direction) of the piano 1 as it goes from the front of the roof 16 to the front of the piano 1 (Y-axis positive direction). ing. The facing surface 4a of the lid 4 may be formed, for example, in a curved surface, but in the present embodiment, it is formed in a flat surface.
The lid 4 in the present embodiment is rotatably attached to the housing 2 so that the inclination angle θ1 of the facing surface 4 a changes. Specifically, the lid 4 is rotatable around an axis extending in the left-right direction of the piano 1 with respect to the front end of the roof 16. When the inclination angle θ1 of the facing surface 4 a is 90 degrees, the opening 12 of the housing 2 is closed by the lid 4.
The lid 4 of the present embodiment is held to the housing 2 such that the facing surface 4a is maintained at a predetermined inclination angle θ1 (with respect to the opening 12 of the housing 2). The predetermined inclination angle θ1 may be arbitrary as long as it is a range larger than at least 0 degree and smaller than 90 degrees. The configuration for holding the lid 4 relative to the housing 2 may be, for example, any support rod extending from the lid 4 to the upper end of the upper front plate 13 or the parent plate 15.
For example, the lid 4 may be fixed to the back 16 of the roof of the housing 2 so that the inclination angle θ1 of the facing surface 4a with respect to the opening 12 of the housing 2 does not change. Even in this case, the inclination angle θ1 of the facing surface 4a may be at least larger than 0 degrees and smaller than 90 degrees.
The reflection unit 5 is provided in the internal space 11 of the housing 2. Specifically, the reflecting portion 5 is provided at a position facing the inner surface 3 a of the sounding board 3 which is a sound source in the internal space 11. The reflection unit 5 has a reflection surface 5 a that reflects the sound so that the sound generated in the soundboard 3 comes out from the opening 12 of the housing 2. That is, the reflecting surface 5 a reflects the sound generated in the soundboard 3 in the direction approaching the opening 12 of the housing 2. The reflecting surface 5a may be, for example, a curved curved surface, but is a flat surface in the present embodiment.
The reflective portion 5 is disposed to face the inner surface 3 a of the soundboard 3 such that the reflective surface 5 a is inclined with respect to the inner surface 3 a (sound emitting surface) of the soundboard 3.
The reflective surface 5 a is inclined with respect to the inner surface 3 a of the soundboard 3 so as to face both the inner surface 3 a of the soundboard 3 and the opening 12 of the housing 2. Specifically, the reflecting surface 5a is separated from the inner surface 3a of the sounding board 3 as it approaches the opening 12 of the housing 2 along the inner surface 3a of the sounding board 3 (as moving in the positive Z-axis direction), It is inclined with respect to the inner surface 3 a of the soundboard 3.
The inclination angle θ2 of the reflective surface 5a with respect to the inner surface 3a of the soundboard 3 may be at least larger than 0 degree and smaller than 90 degrees. The inclination angle θ2 of the reflective surface 5a in the present embodiment is 5 degrees or more and 15 degrees or less.
The reflecting portion 5 may be disposed, for example, between the soundboard 3 and the upper front plate 13 or the lower front plate 14 in the front-rear direction of the piano 1. That is, the reflecting portion 5 may be disposed at an interval with respect to the inner surfaces 13 a and 14 a of the upper front plate 13 and the lower front plate 14. In addition, the reflecting portion 5 may be attached to, for example, the lower front plate 14 or may be attached to both the upper front plate 13 and the lower front plate 14. In the present embodiment, the reflecting portion 5 is attached only to the upper front plate 13. The reflecting portion 5 of the present embodiment is configured separately from the upper front plate 13 and is fixed to the inner surface 13 a of the upper front plate 13 by adhesion or the like.
The reflection part 5 should just be comprised so that a sound can be reflected efficiently at least, and may be comprised with arbitrary materials, such as wood, metal, ceramic, resin.
The dimensions of the reflecting surface 5a of the reflecting portion 5 (for example, the dimensions of one side, the length of the diameter, etc.) are set, for example, sufficiently larger than the wavelength of the sound generated in the soundboard 3. When the dimension of the reflective surface 5a is smaller than the wavelength of sound, it is difficult for the sound of the corresponding wavelength to be reflected by the reflective surface 5a, and a diffraction phenomenon easily occurs. That is, by making the size of the reflective surface 5a sufficiently larger than the wavelength of the sound generated in the soundboard 3, the sound of the corresponding wavelength can be effectively reflected on the reflective surface 5a. Also, by making the dimension of the reflecting surface 5a larger, sound in a frequency band wider than that (for example, by increasing the area occupied by the reflecting surface 5a on the inner surfaces 13a and 14a of the upper front plate 13 and the lower front plate 14) Can be reflected at the reflective surface 5a.
The reflecting portion 5 may be provided at a position facing an arbitrary area of the inner surface 3 a of the soundboard 3. The reflecting portion 5 may be provided, for example, on all or part of the upper front plate 13 and the lower front plate 14.
In addition, the reflection unit 5 may be provided, for example, at a position in consideration of the characteristics of the soundboard 3. Hereinafter, the characteristics of the soundboard 3 will be described. On the inner surface 3a of the soundboard 3, various types of strings 8 having different frequencies are arranged in parallel in the longitudinal direction of the pieces 9 (the long pieces 9A and the short pieces 9B) shown in FIG. For this reason, in a predetermined area of the inner surface 3a of the soundboard 3 supporting the predetermined chord 8 via the piece 9, compared with other areas of the inner surface 3a of the soundboard 3, according to the frequency of the predetermined chord 8 Strongly emit the sound of different frequency. That is, the frequency of the sound strongly emitted from the inner surface 3 a of the soundboard 3 differs depending on the area of the inner surface 3 a of the soundboard 3.
The reflection unit 5 is provided, for example, at a position opposite to the region of the inner surface 3a of the soundboard 3 which generates a sound having a frequency higher than the Schmidder frequency in the inner space 11 in consideration of the characteristics of the soundboard 3 described above It may be done.
The Schrader frequency is a frequency calculated by the volume of the internal space 11 of the housing 2 and the reverberation time (sound absorption coefficient).
Sound with a frequency lower than the Schrader frequency is a frequency at which phenomena such as resonance (sound interference or diffraction) attributable to the acoustic mode of the internal space 11 of the housing 2 become dominant in the internal space 11 of the housing 2 It is included in the band (mode acoustic area). That is, in the internal space 11 of the housing 2, phenomena such as resonance caused by the acoustic mode of the internal space 11 of the housing 2 become dominant with respect to sound having a frequency lower than the Schrader frequency.
On the other hand, in the internal space 11 of the housing 2, sound having a frequency higher than the Schroeder frequency is a frequency band in which phenomena such as reflection and diffusion due to the geometrical shape of the internal space 11 of the housing 2 become dominant (geometry Included in the sound area). That is, in the internal space 11 of the housing 2, phenomena such as reflection and diffusion resulting from the geometric shape of the internal space 11 of the housing 2 become dominant with respect to sound of a frequency higher than the Schmidder frequency.
The Schrader frequency in the internal space 11 of the piano 1 of the present embodiment is 1 kHz.
For this reason, the reflection part 5 of this embodiment is provided in the position which opposes the area | region which generate | occur | produces the sound of a frequency higher than 1 kHz among the inner surfaces 3a of the soundboard 3, for example. In addition, the reflection unit 5 may be provided, for example, at a position facing the area of the inner surface 3a of the soundboard 3 which reliably generates a sound having a frequency of 1.5 kHz or more which is included in the geometric acoustic area.
The reflection unit 5 may be provided, for example, at a position opposed to a region where the frequencies of the fundamental sound and the overtones (double harmonics, triple harmonics, etc.) of the inner surface 3 a of the soundboard 3 are 1.5 kHz or more. . In addition, the reflection unit 5 may be provided at a position facing, for example, a region in the inner surface 3a of the soundboard 3 in which the frequency of the fundamental sound to be emitted is 1.5 kHz or more. For example, as shown in FIG. 2, the area of the inner surface 3a of the soundboard 3 where the fundamental sound frequency is 1.5 kHz or more is the area of the inner surface 3a of the soundboard 3 where the upper right portion of the long piece 9A is arranged It is an area.
As shown in FIG. 1, in the piano 1 in which the opening 12 of the housing 2 is positioned above the piece 9, the reflection part 5 is a predetermined part of the piece 9 (for example, a soundboard where a sound of 1.5 kHz or more is emitted) When it is arranged to face 3), the lower end of the reflecting surface 5a of the reflecting portion 5 may be located lower than the piece 9 facing the reflecting surface 5a as shown in FIGS. In this case, a large sound emitted radially from the region of the inner surface 3a of the soundboard 3 in which the predetermined portion of the piece 9 is disposed is more reliably reflected on the reflection surface 5a of the reflection portion 5 to make the opening 12 of the housing 2 It can be turned to the side.
Next, the operation of the piano 1 according to the present embodiment will be described mainly with reference to FIG. In FIG. 3, the main propagation direction of sound is indicated by an arrow.
When the vibration of a predetermined string 8 is transmitted to the soundboard 3 through the piece 9 in the piano 1, the soundboard 3 vibrates in the thickness direction, and the sound is generated in front of the piano 1 as shown in FIG. That is, it propagates in a direction away from the inner surface 3a of the soundboard 3 (mainly in the Y-axis positive direction).
The sound propagated in the direction away from the inner surface 3 a of the soundboard 3 is reflected by the reflective surface 5 a of the reflecting portion 5 facing the inner surface 3 a of the soundboard 3. Here, the reflective surface 5 a is inclined with respect to the inner surface 3 a of the soundboard 3 so as to face both the inner surface 3 a of the soundboard 3 and the opening 12 of the housing 2. For this reason, the sound reflected on the reflection surface 5 a propagates in a direction inclined upward (Z-axis positive direction) of the piano 1 with respect to the thickness direction (Y-axis direction) of the soundboard 3.
The sound reflected by the reflecting surface 5 a may exit from the opening 12 of the housing 2, for example. In the present embodiment, the sound reflected on the reflection surface 5 a is further reflected on the inner surface 3 a of the soundboard 3. Here, the sound reflected on the reflection surface 5 a is incident from a direction inclined to the inner surface 3 a of the soundboard 3. Therefore, the sound reflected on the inner surface 3 a of the soundboard 3 propagates in a direction inclined upward (Z-axis positive direction) of the piano 1 with respect to the thickness direction (Y-axis direction) of the soundboard 3.
The sound reflected on the inner surface 3a of the soundboard 3 may, for example, come out from the opening 12 of the housing 2 or be further reflected on the reflection surface 5a of the reflection portion 5 and the inner surface 3a of the soundboard 3 as shown in the example. , And may exit from the opening 12 of the housing 2 to the outside. In the illustrated example, the light is reflected twice each by the reflection surface 5 a of the reflection portion 5 and the inner surface 3 a of the soundboard 3, and then exits from the opening 12 of the housing 2.
Thereafter, the sound emitted to the outside from the opening 12 of the housing 2 is reflected on the facing surface 4 a of the lid 4 inclined at a predetermined inclination angle θ 1 (see FIG. 1). Thereby, the propagation direction of the sound emitted from the housing 2 to the outside can be changed. The lid 4 according to the present embodiment is attached to the housing 2 so that the inclination angle θ1 of the facing surface 4a changes, so that the sound emitted to the outside from the opening 12 of the housing 2 is propagated in a desired direction. be able to.
In the piano 1 of the present embodiment, the combination of the inclination angle θ2 of the reflective surface 5a (see FIG. 1) and the inclination angle θ1 of the facing surface 4a of the lid 4 is appropriately set, whereby the case 2 is exposed to the outside The sound can be suitably directed to the player P located in front of the piano 1. For example, when the inclination angle θ1 of the facing surface 4a of the lid 4 is 45 degrees (or an angle close thereto), the housing 2 can be formed by setting the inclination angle θ2 of the reflection surface 5a to 12 degrees to 13 degrees. The sound coming out from the outside can be suitably directed to the player P located in front of the piano 1.
As described above, according to the piano 1 of the present embodiment, the sound generated in the soundboard 3 in the internal space 11 of the housing 2 is output to the outside through the opening 12 of the housing 2. A reflector 5 is provided to reflect light in the direction approaching the second opening 12. Therefore, the sound generated in the soundboard 3 and propagated in the internal space 11 can be efficiently emitted from the opening 12 of the housing 2. In particular, in the present embodiment, the sound generated in the sounding board 3 and propagated in the internal space 11 can be actively emitted from the opening 12 above the housing 2 to the outside.
Further, according to the piano 1 of the present embodiment, the lid 4 has the facing surface 4 a that is inclined with respect to the opening 12 of the housing 2 on the outside of the housing 2. For this reason, the sound emitted to the outside from the opening 12 of the housing 2 can be propagated in the desired direction outside the piano 1 by reflecting it on the facing surface 4 a of the lid 4.
In particular, in the present embodiment, the sound emitted to the outside from the upper opening 12 of the housing 2 is propagated to the front side (the Y-axis positive direction side) of the housing 2 by reflecting it on the facing surface 4 a of the lid 4. Can. Thereby, the localization of the sound in the piano 1 can be positioned higher compared to a general upright piano. For example, the localization of the sound on the piano 1 can be made closer to the localization of the sound on the grand piano.
Further, according to the piano 1 of the present embodiment, the reflecting surface 5 a of the reflecting portion 5 is opposed to the inner surface 3 a of the soundboard 3 so as to be inclined. For this reason, by reflecting the sound emitted from the inner surface 3 a of the sound board 3 at the reflection surface 5 a of the reflection unit 5, the propagation direction of the reflected sound is the sound emitted from the inner surface 3 a of the sound board 3 It can be inclined relative to the direction of propagation. That is, the propagation direction of the sound in the housing 2 can be changed. Thus, the sound generated in the housing 2 can be reliably output from the opening 12 of the housing 2 to the outside.
Moreover, according to the piano 1 of this embodiment, inclination-angle (theta) 2 of the reflective surface 5a with respect to the inner surface 3a of the soundboard 3 is 5 degrees or more and 15 degrees or less. When the inclination angle θ2 of the reflective surface 5 a is 5 degrees or more, the sound reflected by the reflective surface 5 a can easily reach the opening 12 of the housing 2. Moreover, the volume of the reflection part 5 in the internal space 11 can be restrained small by making inclination angle (theta) 2 of the reflective surface 5a into 15 degrees or less. Thereby, interference with other parts of the piano 1 arranged in the internal space 11 of the housing 2 such as the action mechanism 7 can be suitably suppressed. Moreover, the change of the acoustic characteristic of the internal space 11 of the housing | casing 2 by the reflection part 5 can also be restrained small.
Further, according to the piano 1 of the present embodiment, the reflecting portion 5 is fixed to the inner surface of the housing 2. Specifically, the reflecting portion 5 is fixed to the inner surface 13 a of the upper front plate 13. Therefore, simply by providing the reflection portion 5 on a general upright piano (conventional musical instrument), the sound generated in the soundboard 3 and propagated in the internal space 11 can be efficiently and easily from the opening 12 of the housing 2 It can be exported outside. This effect can be achieved similarly even when the reflective portion 5 is fixed to the inner surface 14 a of the lower front plate 14.
Further, as compared with the case where the space is spaced apart from the inner surface of the housing 2, it is possible to suppress the change in shape of the internal space 11 of the housing 2 due to the provision of the reflecting portion 5. Therefore, the change of the acoustic characteristic of the housing 2 based on the reflection unit 5 can be suppressed.
Further, in the piano 1 of the present embodiment, when the reflecting portion 5 is provided at a position facing the area generating the sound of a frequency higher than 1 kHz (Schroeder frequency) in the inner surface 3 a of the soundboard 3, The following effects are achieved. The sound of the frequency included in the geometric acoustic area is efficiently reflected by the reflection surface 5a of the reflection portion 5 while suppressing the size of the reflection portion 5 (particularly the reflection surface 5a) provided in the housing 2 to a small size. Can be taken out of the housing 2.
In the above-described embodiment, as illustrated in FIG. 4, the reflection unit 5 may be rotatably attached to the housing 2 such that the inclination angle θ2 with respect to the inner surface 3 a of the soundboard 3 changes. Specifically, the reflection unit 5 may be rotatable around an axis extending in the left-right direction of the piano 1A with respect to the housing 2. Although the reflection part 5 may be attached to the inner surface 13a of the upper front plate 13 like an example of illustration, it may be attached to the inner surface 14a etc. of the lower front plate 14, for example.
In this case, the upper end portion of the reflecting portion 5 in the vertical direction of the piano 1A may be attached to the inner surface of the housing 2 via the hinge 30 or the like. In addition, the reflecting portion 5 may be held with respect to the upper front plate 13 or the lower front plate 14 so that the reflecting surface 5a is maintained in the inclined state at the predetermined inclination angle θ2. The configuration for holding the reflecting portion 5 with respect to the housing 2 may be, for example, any support bar extending from the lower end portion of the reflecting portion 5 to the inner surface of the housing 2.
When the reflecting portion 5 is rotatably attached to the inner surface of the housing 2 such as the upper front plate 13 and the lower front plate 14, the reflecting portion 5 is mounted on a general upright piano as in the above embodiment. Only by the provision, the sound generated in the soundboard 3 can be efficiently emitted to the outside from the opening 12 of the housing 2. In addition, even if the mounting accuracy of the reflecting portion 5 with respect to the housing 2 is low, the inclination angle θ2 of the reflecting surface 5a can be appropriately adjusted after the reflecting portion 5 is attached to the housing 2. That is, the inclination angle θ2 of the reflecting surface 5a can be easily set.
Further, in the above embodiment, for example, the reflecting portion 5 may be integrally formed with the upper front plate 13 or the lower front plate 14. That is, the reflecting surface 5 a of the reflecting portion 5 may be constituted by the inner surfaces 13 a and 14 a of the upper front plate 13 and the lower front plate 14, for example. In this case, the inner surfaces 13 a and 14 a of the upper front plate 13 and the lower front plate 14 are, for example, a portion on the inner surface 13 a and 14 a side of the upper front plate 13 and the lower front plate 14. You may make it incline with respect to 3a. Further, the inner surfaces 13a and 14a of the upper front plate 13 and the lower front plate 14 are arranged such that the upper front plate 13 and the lower front plate 14 are inclined with respect to the inner surface 3a of the sound board 3, for example. It may be inclined relative to the inner surface 3 a of the plate 3.
When the reflecting portion 5 is integrally formed on the portion of the housing 2 such as the upper front plate 13 and the lower front plate 14, it occurs on the soundboard without increasing the number of components of the upright piano (musical instrument). Sound propagating in the internal space 11 can be efficiently emitted from the opening 12 of the housing 2 to the outside.
As mentioned above, although this invention was demonstrated in detail, this invention is not limited to the said embodiment, It is possible to add a various change in the range which does not deviate from the meaning of this invention.
