Casco de protección para motoristas; que comprende una ventana frontal y unos mecanismos laterales para el montaje de los respectivos laterales de una pantalla (20) transparente con posibilidad de giro entre una posición de apertura y una posición de cierre de la ventana frontal; comprendiendo dichos mecanismos laterales: una configuración cilindrica (101) acoplable en un hueco (201) del correspondiente extremo de la pantalla (20) y que define un eje de rotación de la pantalla (20) entre unas posiciones de apertura y cierre; una primera guía (102) curva adecuada para la recepción en dirección radial y el desplazamiento circunferencial en torno al eje de rotación de un primer apéndice (202) radial de la pantalla; y una pieza desplazable (103) en dirección radial entre unas posiciones de bloqueo y de desbloqueo de la pantalla (20), definiendo dicha pieza desplazable (103) una segunda guía (104) curva para la recepción en dirección radial y el desplazamiento circunferencial de un segundo apéndice (203) radial de la pantalla (20) en una posición de montaje de la pantalla; caracterizado porque los mecanismos laterales comprenden una pestaña flexible (105) que tiende a mantenerse en una posición operativa de retención de la pieza desplazable (103) en la posición desbloqueo de la pantalla (20); y que durante el montaje de la pantalla (20) es desplazada por la propia pantalla (20) hacia una posición inoperante de liberación de la pieza desplazable (103) permitiendo su retorno automático a la posición de bloqueo de la pantalla (20) . 1.
