Abstract
The present invention relates to a use of ellipticine for inducing the differentiation of a stem cell into a chondrocyte. More specifically, by proving that ellipticine has excellent capability for inducing the differentiation of a stem cell into a chondrocyte, and the chondrocyte obtained by the ellipticine-induced differentiation has an excellent therapeutic effect for osteoarthritis or the like, the present invention can provide a potential use as a cell therapy product for chondropathy.
