Description

Sound reproduction device
The present invention relates to a sound reproducing apparatus such as an earphone used in connection with a player, and more particularly to a wireless sound reproducing apparatus that does not require a cable connection with the player.
Conventionally, wireless earphones that do not require a cable to connect to a player are used as earphones that are used by being connected to a device (hereinafter referred to as a "player") having an audio player, smartphone, etc. that has a playback function of music etc. Are known. The wireless earphone can wirelessly receive and reproduce a music signal by pairing with a player through wireless communication such as Bluetooth (registered trademark). As a result, compared to a wired earphone connected with a cable to the player, the cable is not caught when walking or exercising, and comfort and convenience are further improved.
Recently, in the case of a completely wireless earphone marketed, a battery is built in each of the left and right earphones, so it becomes possible to connect the left and right earphones to each other wirelessly, and further downsizing and weight reduction are realized .
However, in the case of the completely wireless earphone, since the battery is built in the left and right earphones, the outer size and thickness of the battery are limited. Therefore, the battery capacity can not be increased, and the reproducible time is limited to about several hours. Therefore, when not viewing and listening, the wireless earphone can be charged using the battery of the cradle by housing the wireless earphone in a case (referred to as a "cradle") in which the battery is built (for example, 1).

Conventionally, when performing various setting operations of the wireless earphone, a smartphone, a smart watch or the like is connected to the wireless earphone, and a setting operation instruction is input through these devices. According to the configuration of the present embodiment, the user calls the various menus using the touch panel 51 and performs the touch operation on the screen to perform the setting operation of the wireless earphone 1 even without the smartphone or the smart watch. It can be carried out. For example, setting of acoustic characteristics of the wireless earphone 1, setting of an external monitor function of the wireless earphone 1, and the like can be performed. The details of the setting operation will be described in a later embodiment.
FIG. 2 shows an example of the internal structure of the wireless earphone 1 a and the cradle 50. The left figure shows the form of the left-ear wireless earphone 1a before storage, and the right figure shows the form after storage. Although FIG. 2 exemplifies the left-ear wireless earphone 1a, the following description will be made only for the left-ear wireless earphone 1a, but the right-ear wireless earphone 1b has a similar structure.
A circular acoustic speaker 2 is built in the wireless earphone 1a for the left ear, and a coin battery 5 is concentrically arranged. A processor circuit, a memory circuit and the like are mounted on the PCB 4. The microphone 6 is used for voice input and an external monitor. The sensor unit 7 includes an acceleration sensor, a gyro sensor, a heart rate sensor, and the like. By pressing the multifunction button 8 of the wireless earphone 1, it is possible to perform ON / OFF of the wireless earphone 1, connection with the smartphone 80, volume adjustment, and the like.
Below the printed circuit board (PCB) 4, a USB Type-C (registered trademark) connector 3 is provided. When the wireless earphone 1 is pushed into the cradle 1, the Type-C connector 3 is connected to the Type-C connector 53 of the cradle 50. Inside the cradle 50, a printed circuit board 54 and a battery 55 are provided. The battery 55 is charged from an external AC power source or the like through a USB terminal (not shown). The wireless earphones 1a and 1b can communicate with the cradle 50 by Bluetooth to display data acquired by the sensor of the wireless earphone 1 on the display 51 in real time.
By using Type-C connector 53, even if a short circuit occurs due to foreign matter mixing in wire earphone 1 or cradle 50, the charging side by the dedicated IC defined in the charging standard of USB Type-C and the charging side The security technology can improve the safety because it can detect an abnormality. In addition, since USB is a universal standard and widely used, it can be connected to a wide variety of battery devices, thus providing a wide selection of users. Recently, a safety certification group related to charging of mobile devices, MCPC (Mobile Computing Promotion Consortium), has been launched, and a certification system has been implemented to determine whether a circuit for securing safety by MCPC is provided. Certified products are given a certification mark, which makes it possible to easily distinguish them from inferior products. Since the USB is a standardized product, the reliability of the connector itself is high, and if the safety circuit can be demonstrated in the certification test, the product's safety will be highly evaluated and recognized.
FIG. 3 is a block diagram showing functional components of the audio information terminal device according to the present embodiment. The wireless earphone 1 includes a speaker 2, a microphone 6, a sensor unit 7, a connector 3 of USB Type-C, a coin battery 5, a multifunction button 8, a GPS 9, an LED 10, and a processor circuit 11. Inside the processor circuit 11, a codec encoder unit 21, a memory unit 22, a Bluetooth module 23, a sensor signal processing unit 24, an equalizer processing unit 25, and a monitor signal adjustment unit 26 are provided. The cradle 50 includes a touch panel 51, a battery 55, a USB terminal 57, and a log data processing unit 56. The smartphone 80 and the wireless earphone 1 can transmit and receive data at the connector 3.
As described above, the acoustic reproduction device according to the present embodiment is characterized in that the cradle 50 includes the touch panel 51. The touch panel 51 can be used as a GUI of the wireless earphone 1, so that the wireless earphone 1 can be operated without using the smartphone 80. The cradle 50 is also a storage case for the wireless earphone 1, and is always carried by the user along with the wireless earphone 1. If the cradle 50 is provided with the touch panel 51 as a GUI of the wireless earphone 1, it is possible to make it customary for the user to store the wireless earphone 1 in the cradle 50. As a result, the wireless earphone 1 can be prevented from being lost.
By configuring the memory unit 22 of the processor circuit 11 with a rewritable recording device such as a flash memory, the firmware version of the wireless earphone 1 can be upgraded. Although it is possible to rewrite the firmware of the wireless earphone by wireless communication when the amount of data is small like a simple bug correction, when the amount of data of firmware being rewritten is large as when adding a new function, etc. In wireless communication, data transfer rate and capacity are limited. For this reason, in the case of the configuration in which the firmware version can be upgraded only by wireless communication, there is a disadvantage that addition of functions is also limited. On the other hand, if the cradle 50 and the wireless earphone 1 are configured to be connectable with the connector 3 of USP Type-C as in the present embodiment, the memory (not shown) of the cradle 50 is By storing the wireless earphone 1 by storing the wireless earphone 1 in the cradle 50, the firmware can be read from the cradle 50 to the memory unit 22 of the wireless earphone 1 to upgrade the firmware version. The firmware can be read into the memory of the cradle 50 by connecting the USB terminal 57 to a PC or the like.
In addition to upgrading the firmware via cradle 50, use the USB Type-C connector 3 of the wireless earphone 1 to directly connect the wireless earphone 1 to a PC etc. and download the firmware from the PC. Is also possible.
As described above, by having the USB Type-C connector 3, the wireless earphone 1 can read firmware with a large data capacity in a short time and upgrade the version. For example, recently, it is expected that the processor circuit 11 of the earphone processes a learning function such as a more advanced voice recognition system or an automatic translation function called AI (Artificial Intelligence). The configuration of the present embodiment is also effective when adding future AI new functions, biological signal processing functions, and the like.
For example, in the case where the wireless earphone 1 has an AI function, if the cradle 50 is provided with a speaker (not shown), the cradle 50 can be used as an AI speaker. An AI speaker is a speaker that can use an AI assistant that supports interactive voice operation, and has recently been widely used in various applications such as music viewing via the Internet, use of search services, shopping, etc. . According to this configuration, not only the wearer of the wireless earphone 1 but also surrounding friends and family can listen to the output from the AI function of the wireless earphone 1 (for example, information provision from AI, advice, music, etc.) it can. In addition, since the cradle 50 can be carried, there is an advantage that the AI function of the wireless earphone 1 can be utilized at various places such as outdoors or in a car unlike the stationary AI speaker.
Further, in this case, if not only the speaker but also the microphone (not shown) is provided in the cradle 50, a user other than the user of the wireless earphone 1 can also give an audio instruction to the AI function via the microphone of the cradle 50. It becomes possible.
In addition, since the wireless earphone 1 is not equipped with a display, conventionally, when visually checking data stored in the wireless earphone 1 or changing it while looking at the setting contents, conventionally, a smart watch, a smartphone, etc. Display terminals were sometimes required. On the other hand, according to the sound reproduction apparatus according to the present embodiment, such a display terminal is unnecessary, so that cooperation between devices can be simplified, and the economic burden on the user can be reduced.
The operation of the wireless earphone 1 using the touch panel 51 as a GUI is also possible in a state where the wireless earphone 1 is attached to the ear without being accommodated in the cradle 50. In this case, the wireless earphone 1 and the cradle 50 communicate via Bluetooth.
Second Embodiment
The second embodiment of the present invention will be described below. In addition, about the structure which has the same function as the structure demonstrated in 1st Embodiment, the same referential mark is attached and the detailed description is abbreviate | omitted. The same applies to each embodiment described later.
FIG. 4 and FIG. 5 show an example of display on the touch panel 51 of the cradle 50 of the second embodiment. The left figure is a menu screen 60 of fitness log data, and the right figure is a graph display screen 61 for plotting the log data selected in the menu and displaying it.
In the present embodiment, the sensor unit 7 includes an acceleration sensor, a gyro sensor, a heart rate sensor, and the like. The data acquired by the sensor unit 7 is taken in and processed by the sensor signal processing unit 24 of the processor 11 and accumulated in the memory unit 22. As a result, when the user wears the wireless earphone 1 and exercises, data on exercise (for example, walking or running distance, number of steps, speed, calorie consumption, heart rate, etc.) can be stored in the memory unit 22.
In the present embodiment, when the wireless earphone 1 is stored in the cradle 50, data stored in the memory unit 22 is transferred to the cradle 50 via the connector 3 and the log data processing unit 56 receives the data. The log data processing unit 56 processes the data transferred from the memory unit 22 of the wireless earphone 1 to generate a graph or the like and displays it on the touch panel 51.
The sensor unit 7 and the memory unit 22 may be provided only in one or both of the left ear wireless earphone 1a and the right ear wireless earphone 1b.
When the sensor unit 7 and the memory unit 22 are provided in both the left ear wireless earphone 1a and the right ear wireless earphone 1b, sensor data is acquired from each of the left ear and the right ear and stored in the memory unit 22. . Also, in this case, when the wireless earphone 1 is stored in the cradle 50, the log data processing unit of the cradle 50 is obtained from the memory unit 22 of the left-ear wireless earphone 1a and the memory unit 22 of the right-ear wireless earphone 1b. Data is sent to 56. As a result, the log data processing unit 56 can separately display the processing results of the log data of the left and right ears, and can monitor changes in physical function and balance. Of course, if it is resistant to always wear both of the wireless earphones, the same effect can be expected even if one of the left and right wireless earphones is worn.
In the example of FIG. 4, when the user selects the distance (distance) by the touch operation on the touch panel 51 as shown on the left, the display on the touch panel 51 is processed by the log data processing unit 56 as shown on the right. As a result, switching is made to display a graph of travel distance. On the side of the graph, today's travel distance, the longest travel distance within a predetermined period, and the average travel distance are displayed as numerical values (text).
Further, in the example shown in FIG. 5, as shown in the left figure, when the user selects the heart rate (Heart Rate), as shown in the right figure, the display of the touch panel 51 is switched to display a heart rate waveform. The current heart rate, the maximum heart rate within a predetermined period, and the average heart rate are displayed as text next to the heart rate waveform. Since the wireless earphone 1 and the cradle 50 can be connected by Bluetooth even while the user is wearing the wireless earphone 1, the output of the sensor signal processing unit 24 can be displayed in real time. For example, even while exercising with yoga while listening to music with the wireless earphone 1, it is possible to grasp the current condition of one's own body on the screen displayed on the touch panel 51. Although biological data detected from the left ear or the right ear is displayed in FIG. 5, it is also possible to compare and display detection data of both the left ear and the right ear. Changes in body function and balance can be monitored by comparing left and right detection data.
As a method of detecting the heart rate, in addition to the heart rate sensor, a microphone capable of detecting the vibration of the air generated by the vibration of the skin or tympanic membrane portion accompanying the pulsation of the blood vessel is used to close the microphone and the vibration source. It is also possible to use a measuring device that detects the pulsatility signal.
FIG. 6 is a block diagram of the wireless earphone and cradle of the second embodiment. An example of the function of the block diagram shown in FIG. 6 will be described. When the user makes a question by voice as “Today's health condition?”, The microphone 6 detects voice, and after the processor 11 recognizes voice, the past data accumulated in the memory unit 22 and the log data processing unit 56 of the cradle 50 The speaker transmits a message to the user of the calculation result obtained by comparing with the real time data detected from the sensor unit 7. For example, you can give appropriate advice by voice saying "Let's relax a little more". Further, when the user is running long distances, it is possible to transmit the distance to the destination, the lap time, the physical condition and the like by voice as a result of calculating the position information and the traveling distance by the GPS 9.
As described above, according to the sound reproduction device of the present embodiment, it is possible to display the analysis result of motion information and biological information acquired by the sensor of the wireless earphone 1 on the touch panel 51 of the cradle 50 during charging or in real time. it can.
Conventionally, it is a smart watch as a wearable terminal, which detects heart rate from the user's wrist with a heart rate sensor, detects travel distance and consumed calories using a GPS function, and detects the detection results in real time on the dial display There was something to display. However, in the case of such a smart watch, when checking the past training history, it was necessary to transfer the smart watch to the smartphone. On the other hand, the sound reproduction apparatus according to the present embodiment can confirm past data and its analysis result without requiring a smartphone.
Further, in the present embodiment, when displaying the advice according to the processing result of the log data processing unit 56 on the touch panel 51 of the cradle 50, an image of a famous athlete or the like may be displayed. Also, when outputting the advice from the speaker of the cradle 50, it may be reproduced by the voice of a famous athlete or the like. This can improve the motivation for continuing the exercise.
Third Embodiment
The sound reproducing apparatus of the third embodiment will be described below. The sound reproduction apparatus according to the present embodiment can set the frequency characteristic of the wireless earphone 1 by operating the touch panel 51 of the cradle 50 while the user wears the wireless earphone 1.
FIG. 7 is a display example of the touch panel 51 of the cradle 50. As shown in FIG. In this example, a menu 70 for adjusting the equalizer characteristics of the audio is displayed on the touch panel 51 as a GUI. By touching the slide bar displayed in the menu 70 with a finger and sliding the level up and down to move the level of each frequency, the frequency characteristic of the earphone 1 can be set as desired. In this example, the case of simultaneously setting both the R channel and the L channel is illustrated, but it is also possible to set each channel separately.
FIG. 8 is a diagram extracting and showing blocks involved in the process of setting the above-mentioned frequency characteristics among the functional blocks shown in FIG. In other words, among the functional blocks shown in FIG. 3, the functional blocks not shown in FIG. 8 can be omitted if only the functions of the present embodiment are realized.
When the user operates the touch panel 51 of the cradle 50, an instruction corresponding to the operation is sent to the equalizer processing unit 25 of the processor circuit 11 via the Bluetooth connection between the cradle 50 and the wireless earphone 1. Although the encoder 21, the memory unit 22, the Bluetooth module 23 and the like are involved in the communication between the touch panel 51 and the equalizer processing unit 25, the illustration thereof is omitted in FIG. The equalizer processing unit 25 changes the level of each frequency band according to the instruction, and outputs the reproduced sound according to the changed frequency characteristic to the speaker 2. The sound source of the reproduced sound at this time may be supplied from the player 80 or may be stored in the memory unit 22.
