Description
NOBLE METAL PRODUCTS IDENTIFICATION AND TRACKING SYSTEM
Technical Field The invention is related to a reliable product identification and detection method for the control processes regarding the authenticity and artificialness, which are required during the goods delivery of the valuable products such as gold.
Prior Art Today, by the known methods, in order for, detect the authenticity and carat of gold processes such as touching with hand, color control by eye (oxidation detection) can only be performed by jewelers with the specialist level knowledge by additional special implications such as using touchstone and acid. These processes provide inadequate results and also have undesired side effects such as abrasion of the gold and decrease of the brightness of the gold. For instance, in the touchstone method, a line is created by rubbing the touchstone against the gold and acid is poured onto the created line. If the acid deletes the line on the touchstone, the carat of the gold is low and it is evaluated as not-real-gold.
Especially the carat of the gold which is defined as 24, 22, 18, 14 (in other words, different purity ratios over 999,9/1000) describe the monetary value of the said gold. The gold is commonly used and highly valid commercially, and since using the specialist knowledge in daily life for the accurate detection of the purity of the gold and controlling the authenticity is not within the natural flow of the commercial life, the system of the invention aims to provide the abovementioned process with the minimum intervention.
Abstract of the application with number TR201314622, which is found as a result of technical research: the invention relates to a method of detecting the valuable metal ratios in jewelry and mining ores in the jeweler and mining sector. The invention is a method enabling the detection of the valuable metal ratios in the jeweler and mining sector, wherein it comprises the steps of preparing a sample from the material of which the noble metal ratio is going to be determined, wrapping the prepared sample into the
metallic packing, keeping the wrap inside an oven of 1000 °C degrees for 15 minutes and detecting the noble metal ratio by XRF analysis device.
As it can be seen, the system that is mentioned above is related to a method which enables the detection of the valuable metal ratios in noble metals. The said application does not mention neither any process regarding signing of the gold and other noble metals and practices nor a structuring which can provide a solution to the disadvantages that are described above.
As a result, a novelty in the technical field regarding the problems, that are mentioned above and that cannot be solved with the prior art, is required.
Aim of the invention
The invention aims to provide a structure that has different technical properties which enables novelties in the field, in opposition to the current structuring used in prior art.
The primary goal of the invention is to provide performing a control step regarding the authenticity of the product during the delivery and exchange processes of the product, for products which have high financial values such as gold.
Another aim of the invention is to detect fake and imitation products during the product delivery and prevent the trade of the inappropriate products by providing a controlling the identities of the gold products which had been identified previously in the exchange points.
Another aim of the invention is to especially enable the acceptance of gold products as bank deposit in the banking sector.
Another aim of the invention is to provide confirmation process by the identification process which is performed by the concealed sign on the gold, during the purchase of the gold or return of the gold to the manufacturing sites.
Another aim of the invention is to provide a reduction in the needs of processes which have undesired side effects such as abrasion of the gold, decreasing the brightness of the gold etc., which are difficult to perform and which result in inadequate consequences. In order to obtain the goals that are mentioned above, the present invention is;
A Noble metal product tracking system which enables the control of the
authenticity/artificialness status of the noble metals with high financial value and enables the access to the properties/information regarding the said noble metals, wherein it comprises · a concealed sign which is engraved on the noble metal and which enables the distinction of the said noble metals from each other (a singular concealed sign which is comprised of a serial number, a square code or both),
• a database onto which the concealed signs are recorded,
• a reader device which enables the reading of the concealed sign and the transmission of the information regarding the noble metal to the user,
• a server which enables the control of the information received from the said reader device with comparison to the concealed sign data that are recorded on the said database.
The structural and characteristical features of the invention along with all its advantages shall be understood more clearly with the figures provided below and the detailed description that refers to these figures. Therefore, an evaluation shall be made by taking these figures and the detailed description into account.

Detailed Description of the Invention
In this detailed description, the preferred structurings of the invention are described merely for the purpose of the invention to be better understood and they are not limiting in any manner.
During the production and engraving processes of the noble metals (10), generally before the packaging or enwrapping process, a concealed sign (1 1 ) is put onto the said noble metal (10) which can be read by a reader device (20). This process can be performed by a special invisible ink, micro- abrasion method or application of the both methods together. In this step, where the concealed sign (1 1 ) is put, a unique distinctive identification is aimed for each noble metal (10) (especially gold). A singular serial number or square code are given to the noble metals (10) by the said concealed sign (1 1 ). Information such as the manufacturer of the product, weight and picture of the product and carat of the product are matched to the said concealed sign (1 1 ) and recorded onto a database (30).
At any place and time where the noble metal (10) is on use on the market, in production sites or bank branches, in places where the delivery or acceptance occur, it is checked by a reader device (20) whether the noble metal (10) comprises a concealed sign (1 1 ). The information of the noble metals (10) with a concealed sign (1 1 ) are read by a reader device (20) and controlled on a database (30) via a server (40). The data which is controlled on the database (30) are transmitted to the said reader device (20) via the said server (40) and they are shown to the user via a screen on the reader device (20).
The process steps performed by the system of the invention are as follows;
• Identification of the noble metal (10) by being engraved with a unique concealed sign (1 1 ),
• Recording the said concealed sign (1 1 ) onto a database (30),
• Reading the concealed sign (1 1 ) on the noble metal (10) by a reader device (20), o providing information to the user via the reader device (20), in case there is not a concealed sign (1 1 ) on the said noble metal (10). · Controlling the data read by the reader device (20) in comparison with the database (30) via a server (40),
Transmitting the data which is controlled on the database (30) to the said reader device (20) via the said server (40) and showing it to the user.
