Abstract
A secondary battery according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: an electrode assembly; an electrode lead connected to the electrode assembly; a pouch case which receives the electrode assembly and seals the electrode assembly in a state where the electrode lead is drawn out to the outside; and a sealant layer positioned on at least one of an edge of the pouch case and a portion between the pouch case and the electrode lead, wherein the sealant layer includes a polymer-matrix composite material.
