Abstract

An improved detachable trailer(20) for a stroller (10) and engagement means, the trailer(20) comprises a body(26) having a surface for supporting a child thereon, and at least one ground engaging wheel(22,24) attached thereto. At least one catch member (30a,30b) is inter-engageable with a corresponding shaft(56) for coupling the body to the stroller(10). The catch members (30a,30b) and said shaft(56) are shaped so as to be inter-engageable when the trailer(20) is in an operational position extending substantially horizontally behind the stroller(10). They are shaped to be rotatable relative to each other for pivoting of the body from the operational position to a stored position proximal to the rear legs of the stroller(10), and also disengageable from each other when the body(26) is at a predetermined inclined position between the operational position and the stored position.
