Definitions

  • the utility model relates to a surgical instrument, in particular to a flushing suction device.
  • Flushing the aspirator is an important tool used in laparoscopic and open surgery. It is used to provide irrigation solution to the surgical site to clear the field of view of the bleeding site, and to attract blood and other liquids and tissue fragments from the surgical site by vacuum suction; in particular, it can be identified and accurately before using RF energy or electrocoagulation cutting. Position the bleeding site.
  • the flushing aspirator is typically used in conjunction with a 5 mm or 10 mm trocar sleeve or trocar of a CO 2 pneumothorax to maintain inflation of the body cavity to create a surgical space for delivery of the instrument into the body cavity under operation.
  • Conventional flushing aspirator devices include single lumen tubes (most common 5 mm in diameter, but sometimes 10 mm) and typically one or more valves characterized as "horns" that can be attached to attract or rinse.
  • Disposable instruments are usually made of plastic, and the recirculating instruments are made of detachable stainless steel and cleaned and disinfected before and after use in different patients and surgical procedures. Valves need to be disassembled for effective cleaning and cleaning. However, it is difficult to clean due to valve and pipe geometry. Therefore, one-time use is currently used.
  • Flushing aspirator mainly uses a single lumen tube to flush and attract through a common chamber. Attracting and flushing a common lumen also causes the "dirty" fluid (such as contaminated blood or blood clots and opaque liquids or solids) that has just been sucked back to be returned to the patient. In vivo, this makes the exploration of bleeding sites more difficult. And because the incomplete removal of liquid from the tubing typically results in potentially contaminated liquid remaining in the tubing and back to the surgical site. This is often referred to as the "drip" of the surgical site and creates an additional risk of infection at the surgical site. There are flushing suctions in the prior art via two different chambers, one for suction and the other for flushing.
  • the liquid stream When used for rinsing, the liquid stream typically has a low flow rate and flows slowly from the pipe, so prior art uses a disposable pump or pressurized container (e.g., nitrogen pressurization) to add pressure to the rinsing supply, which adds additional cost. And the risk of using this flushing aspirator. Although it provides a better flushing effect, the high flow rate consumes a large amount of flushing flow and requires frequent suction of excess liquid. To control the total energy in the liquid flow, there must be a relatively low pressure, and excessive pressure can cause unnecessary damage to the surgical part. Therefore, there is no flushing suction device with good flushing effect and convenient use in the prior art.
  • a disposable pump or pressurized container e.g., nitrogen pressurization
  • the utility model has the advantages of poor flushing effect and inconvenient use in the prior art in order to solve the flushing suction device in the prior art.
