Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de soudage qui peut être conçu pour convertir un substrat constitué de fibres discontinues courtes en un substrat soudé présentant une résistance considérablement accrue par rapport au substrat brut. Lorsqu'il est appliqué à un substrat unidimensionnel, tel qu'un fil, le procédé de soudage peut également réduire le diamètre du substrat soudé par rapport à celui du substrat brut. De plus, le procédé de soudage peut être conçu pour conférer des propriétés de couleur supérieures au substrat soudé par rapport aux propriétés de couleur du substrat brut, lesquelles propriétés de couleur supérieures peuvent être très prononcées lors de la réalisation d'un procédé de soudage sur un substrat brut constitué de fibres recyclées colorées et/ou teintes.
