L'invention porte principalement sur une architecture de traction (10) pour véhicule automobile comportant: - une chaîne de traction (11) implantée sur un train avant (12), - une machine électrique tournante (26) de type réversible, ladite machine électrique tournante (26) étant implantée sur un train arrière (27), caractérisée en ce qu'un dispositif d'accouplement (30) disposant d'un premier rapport de vitesse et d'un deuxième rapport de vitesse est interposé entre la machine électrique tournante (26) et le train arrière (27).

Description

ARCHITECTURE DE TRACTION MUNIE D'UN DISPOSITIF
D'ACCOUPLEMENT À DEUX RAPPORTS ENTRE UNE MACHINE ÉLECTRIQUE TOURNANTE ET UN TRAIN ARRIÈRE DE VÉHICULE AUTOMOBILE La présente invention porte sur une architecture de traction munie d'un dispositif d'accouplement à deux rapports entre une machine électrique tournante et un train arrière de véhicule automobile.
De façon connue en soi, une chaîne de traction implantée sur le train avant d'un véhicule automobile comporte un moteur thermique accouplé à une boîte de vitesses par l'intermédiaire d'un embrayage. La boîte de vitesses est reliée mécaniquement aux roues par l'intermédiaire d'un différentiel.
Une machine électrique réversible et à courroie est accouplée au moteur thermique via la façade accessoires. Cette machine électrique, appelée communément alterno-démarreur, est apte à fonctionner dans un mode générateur pour recharger une batterie du véhicule ainsi que dans un mode moteur pour assurer un démarrage du moteur thermique. Cette machine électrique pourra également être utilisée pour fournir de l'énergie à la batterie lors d'une phase de freinage récupératif.
Pour des applications à quatre roues motrices, il est connu d'utiliser une autre machine électrique réversible implantée sur le train arrière du véhicule. Cette machine électrique est apte à fonctionner en mode moteur pour assurer une traction du véhicule seule ou en combinaison avec le moteur thermique. Cette machine est également apte à fonctionner en mode générateur pour fournir de l'énergie à la batterie du véhicule. La machine électrique arrière est reliée au train arrière par l'intermédiaire d'un dispositif d'accouplement. Généralement, le rapport de démultiplication du dispositif d'accouplement est choisi suffisamment grand pour permettre un décollage électrique et un roulage électrique du véhicule automobile. Toutefois, lorsque la vitesse du véhicule dépasse un seuil, il existe un risque que l'entraînement de la machine électrique par les roues du véhicule engendre une détérioration de la machine électrique dont la vitesse de rotation maximale est dépassée.
La présente invention vise à remédier efficacement à cet inconvénient en proposant une architecture de traction pour véhicule automobile comportant: - une chaîne de traction implantée sur un train avant,
- une machine électrique tournante de type réversible, ladite machine électrique tournante étant implantée sur un train arrière,
caractérisée en ce qu'un dispositif d'accouplement disposant d'un premier rapport de vitesse et d'un deuxième rapport de vitesse est interposé entre la machine électrique tournante et le train arrière.
L'invention permet ainsi à la machine électrique arrière d'assurer un roulage électrique à basse vitesse lorsque le premier rapport est engagé et d'assurer une récupération d'énergie optimum à haute vitesse lorsque le deuxième rapport de vitesse est engagé, sans risque de détérioration de la machine électrique tournante.
Selon une réalisation, le premier rapport de vitesse entre la vitesse de rotation de la machine électrique tournante divisée par la vitesse de rotation des roues du véhicule automobile est supérieur ou égal à 20.
Selon une réalisation, le deuxième rapport de vitesse entre la vitesse de rotation de la machine électrique tournante divisée par la vitesse de rotation des roues du véhicule automobile est inférieur strictement à 20.
Selon une réalisation, le premier rapport de vitesse est engagé tant que la vitesse du véhicule automobile est inférieure à un premier seuil de vitesse et le deuxième rapport de vitesse est engagé lorsque la vitesse du véhicule automobile passe au-dessus du premier seuil et jusqu'à ce que la vitesse du véhicule automobile passe en dessous d'un deuxième seuil de vitesse. Une telle configuration en hystérésis permet d'éviter un changement de rapport intempestif.
Selon une réalisation, le premier seuil de vitesse et le deuxième seuil de vitesse sont différents l'un par rapport à l'autre. Selon une réalisation, le premier seuil de vitesse est compris entre 60 et 100 km/h, et vaut de préférence 90 km/h.
Selon une réalisation, le deuxième seuil de vitesse est compris entre 20 et 50 km/h et vaut de préférence 40 km/h. Selon une réalisation, le dispositif d'accouplement est apte à prendre un état assurant un découplage mécanique entre la machine électrique tournante et le train arrière.
Selon une réalisation, la machine électrique tournante est connectée à un réseau électrique ayant une tension de fonctionnement inférieure à 60 Volts. Selon une réalisation, la tension de fonctionnement du réseau électrique est de 48 Volts.
Selon une réalisation, ladite architecture de traction comporte en outre une machine électrique tournante de type réversible accouplée à un moteur thermique de la chaîne de traction du train avant. Selon une réalisation, ladite architecture de traction est configurée pour pouvoir réaliser une fonction de roulage électrique.
Selon une réalisation, ladite architecture de traction est configurée pour pouvoir réaliser une fonction de roulage à quatre roues motrices.
Selon une réalisation, ladite architecture de traction est configurée pour pouvoir réaliser une fonction de décollage électrique du véhicule automobile.
Selon une réalisation, la machine électrique tournante est de type synchrone à aimants permanents.
L'invention sera mieux comprise à la lecture de la description qui suit et à l'examen des figures qui l'accompagnent. Ces figures ne sont données qu'à titre illustratif mais nullement limitatif de l'invention.
La figure 1 est une représentation schématique d'une architecture de traction pour véhicule automobile selon la présente invention; La figure 2 est une représentation schématique du dispositif d'accouplement monté entre la machine électrique tournante et le train arrière du véhicule automobile;
La figure 3 est une représentation schématique des réseaux électriques interfacés mis en œuvre dans la présente invention;
La figure 4 est un tableau illustrant les différentes fonctions pouvant être mises en œuvre respectivement avec une architecture à alterno-démarreur seul et avec une architecture selon l'invention comprenant un alterno- démarreur utilisé en combinaison avec une machine électrique implantée sur le train arrière.
Les éléments identiques, similaires, ou analogues, conservent la même référence d'une figure à l'autre.
La figure 1 montre une architecture de traction 10 pour véhicule automobile comportant une chaîne de traction 1 1 implantée sur le train avant 12 d'un véhicule automobile. Cette chaîne de traction 1 1 comporte un moteur thermique 13 accouplé à une boîte de vitesses 16 par l'intermédiaire d'un embrayage 17. La boîte de vitesses 1 6 est reliée mécaniquement à un différentiel 18 du train avant 12.
Une machine électrique tournante 21 de type réversible est accouplée au moteur thermique 13 via la façade accessoires. Le dispositif de transmission de mouvement 22 entre le moteur thermique 13 et la machine électrique 21 pourra par exemple être à courroie ou à chaîne.
Cette machine électrique 21 , appelée communément alterno-démarreur, est apte à fonctionner dans un mode générateur pour recharger une batterie 24 du véhicule ainsi que dans un mode moteur pour assurer un démarrage du moteur thermique 13 alors que le véhicule est à l'arrêt ou lors d'une transition d'un mode de roulage électrique vers un mode de roulage thermique. Cette machine électrique 21 pourra également être utilisée pour fournir de l'énergie à la batterie 24 lors d'une phase de freinage récupératif. En outre, une deuxième machine électrique tournante 26 de type réversible est implantée sur un train arrière 27 du véhicule automobile. La machine électrique arrière 26 est mécaniquement découplée du train avant 12. La machine électrique 26 est apte à fonctionner dans un mode générateur lors d'une phase de freinage récupératif pour recharger la batterie 24 ainsi que dans un mode moteur pour assurer un roulage électrique du véhicule. La machine électrique 26 est associée à un onduleur qui pourra être fixé à l'arrière de la machine 26 ou être séparé de la machine 26. Le circuit de refroidissement des machines électriques 21 , 26 pourra être à base d'eau ou d'huile.
Un dispositif d'accouplement 30 disposant d'un premier rapport de vitesse R1 et d'un deuxième rapport de vitesse R2 est interposé entre la machine électrique tournante 26 et le train arrière 27, tel que cela est illustré par la figure 2.
Le premier rapport de vitesse R1 entre la vitesse de rotation de la machine électrique 26 divisée par la vitesse de rotation des roues du véhicule automobile est supérieur ou égal à 20.
Le deuxième rapport de vitesse R2 entre la vitesse de rotation de la machine électrique tournante 26 divisée par la vitesse de rotation des roues du véhicule automobile est inférieur strictement à 20.
Le premier rapport de vitesse R1 est engagé tant que la vitesse du véhicule est inférieure à un premier seuil de vitesse. Ce premier seuil de vitesse est compris par exemple entre 60 et 100 km/h, et vaut de préférence 90 km/h.
Le deuxième rapport de vitesse R2 est engagé lorsque la vitesse du véhicule passe au-dessus du premier seuil et jusqu'à ce que la vitesse du véhicule automobile passe en dessous d'un deuxième seuil de vitesse. Le deuxième seuil de vitesse est compris par exemple entre 20 et 50 km/h et vaut de préférence 40 km/h. Une telle configuration en hystérésis permet d'éviter un changement de rapport intempestif.
Lorsque la vitesse du véhicule devient supérieure à un troisième seuil compris par exemple entre 130 et 140km/h, le dispositif d'accouplement 30 est apte à prendre un état assurant un découplage mécanique entre la machine électrique tournante 26 et le train arrière 27. Cela permet de supprimer les pertes de la machine électrique 26 afin d'améliorer le rendement du système.
A cet effet, le dispositif d'accouplement 30 comporte un crabot 31 solidaire en rotation avec l'arbre de sortie tout en étant mobile axialement, suivant la flèche F, pour lier sélectivement en rotation un pignon fou 32 du premier rapport de vitesse R1 ou un pignon fou 33 du deuxième rapport de vitesse R2. La position intermédiaire du crabot 31 dans laquelle ce dernier n'est pas lié au pignon 32, ni au pignon 33 permet de découpler mécaniquement la machine électrique 26 par rapport au roues du véhicule à haute vitesse. En outre, l'arbre de sortie du dispositif 30 est connecté aux roues par l'intermédiaire d'un différentiel 34.
Comme on peut le voir sur la figure 3, les deux machines électriques tournantes 21 , 26 sont connectées à un premier réseau électrique 35 sur lequel est également branchée la batterie 24. Ce réseau électrique 35 présente une tension de fonctionnement inférieure à 60 Volts. Avantageusement, la tension de fonctionnement du réseau électrique 35 est de 48 Volts. D'autres charges électriques 36 pourront également être connectées sur le réseau électrique 35.
Chaque machine électrique 21 , 26 pourra présenter une puissance comprise entre 15kW et 25 kW et fournir un couple compris entre 55Nm et 100Nm en fonction de sa longueur. Les machines électriques 21 , 26 pourront par exemple être des machines de type synchrone à aimants permanents.
Le réseau électrique 35 est interfacé avec un deuxième réseau électrique 38 basse tension par l'intermédiaire d'un convertisseur continu/continu 39. Un démarreur optionnel 40 assurant les démarrages à froid du moteur thermique 13, ainsi que des consommateurs électriques 41 du véhicule de type éclairage, actionneurs de vitres ou de sièges, et contrôle moteur, sont connectés au réseau électrique 38. Ce réseau électrique 38 associé à une batterie 42 présente une tension de fonctionnement inférieure à celle du premier réseau électrique 35. La tension de fonctionnement du réseau électrique 38 est de préférence de l'ordre de 12 Volts. Comme cela est illustré par la figure 4, une telle architecture 10 permet, grâce à la première machine électrique 21 , d'assurer une fonction d'arrêt et de redémarrage automatique du moteur thermique 13 en fonction des conditions de circulation (fonction dite STT pour "stop and start" en anglais). Une fonction dite "boost" en anglais permet à l'une et/ou l'autre des machines électriques 21 , 26 d'assister ponctuellement le moteur thermique 13 lors d'une phase de roulage en mode thermique.
Une fonction de freinage récupératif permet à l'une et/ou l'autre des machines électriques 21 , 26 de fournir de l'énergie électrique à la batterie 24 lors d'une phase de freinage. L'utilisation simultanée des deux machines électriques 21 , 26 permet de maximiser l'énergie récupérée par la batterie 24 lors du freinage.
Une fonction de roue libre, dite de "coasting" en anglais, permet d'automatiser l'ouverture de la chaîne de traction 1 1 sans action explicite du conducteur pour réduire le régime moteur ou l'arrêter afin de minimiser la consommation en carburant ainsi que les émissions polluantes. S'il a été arrêté, la machine électrique avant 21 pourra assurer le re-démarrage du moteur thermique 13.
En outre, par rapport à un alterno-démarreur 40 seul, l'architecture 10 permet de disposer d'un couple électrique à l'arrêt du véhicule pour assurer notamment un décollage du véhicule (fonction dite de "take-off" en anglais).
La machine électrique arrière 26 permet également d'assurer un roulage électrique pur. Le roulage électrique pourra être sollicité juste après une sortie de phase de roulage en roue libre. Dans certaines situations de vie dans lesquelles la batterie 24 est vide, la machine électrique avant 21 pourra fournir directement une énergie électrique à la machine électrique arrière 26 pour assurer une traction du véhicule.
Compte tenu de la séparation entre les deux machines électriques 21 , 26, l'architecture 10 garantit une transition souple entre le mode de roulage électrique pur et le mode de roulage thermique. L'architecture 10 permet également de réaliser une fonction de roulage à quatre roues motrices (mode 4x4) qui est limitée par l'autonomie de la batterie 24 et la puissance de génération d'électricité de la machine avant. Le mode de fonctionnement 4x4 pourra être utilisé pour améliorer la sécurité du véhicule en cas de situation d'urgence et un meilleur comportement de route sur le sol glissant ou en pente.
Grâce au roulage électrique pur, à la fonction de freinage récupératif par les deux machines électriques 21 , 26, ainsi qu'au poids réduit des batteries utilisées 24, 42, l'invention permet un gain en carburant de l'ordre de 20% lors des roulages sur de longues distances.
Lors de la transition du mode de roulage électrique vers le mode de roulage thermique, l'énergie de la batterie 24 est utilisée afin de démarrer le moteur thermique 13 avec la machine avant 21 . Il sera possible de contrôler un niveau de charge suffisant de la batterie 24 permettant le démarrage du moteur thermique 13. Si ce n'est pas le cas, le calculateur moteur pourra commander l'arrêt du mode de roulage électrique afin de disposer d'un niveau d'énergie minimum. Le convertisseur 39 pourra également être utilisé pour transférer de l'énergie depuis la batterie 12 Volts vers la batterie 48 Volts afin de garantir le démarrage du moteur thermique 13 par la machine électrique avant 21 .
Dans un mode de réalisation particulier, il sera également possible d'implanter l'onduleur de la machine électrique arrière 26 ainsi que le convertisseur 39 à l'intérieur d'un même boîtier.
Suivant une variante de réalisation, il sera possible d'implanter une machine électrique supplémentaire sur le train arrière 27, afin d'augmenter la puissance et le couple disponible en roulage électrique.
Bien entendu, la description qui précède a été donnée à titre d'exemple uniquement et ne limite pas le domaine de l'invention dont on ne sortirait pas en remplaçant les différents éléments par tous autres équivalents. En outre, les différentes caractéristiques, variantes, et/ou formes de réalisation de la présente invention peuvent être associées les unes avec les autres selon diverses combinaisons, dans la mesure où elles ne sont pas incompatibles ou exclusives les unes des autres.

Claims

REVENDICATIONS
1 . Architecture de traction (10) pour véhicule automobile comportant:
- une chaîne de traction (1 1 ) implantée sur un train avant (12),
- une machine électrique tournante (26) de type réversible, ladite machine électrique tournante (26) étant implantée sur un train arrière (27), caractérisée en ce qu'un dispositif d'accouplement (30) disposant d'un premier rapport de vitesse (R1 ) et d'un deuxième rapport de vitesse (R2) est interposé entre la machine électrique tournante (26) et le train arrière (27).
2. Architecture de traction (10) selon la revendication 1 , caractérisée en ce que le premier rapport de vitesse (R1 ) entre la vitesse de rotation de la machine électrique tournante (26) divisée par la vitesse de rotation des roues du véhicule automobile est supérieur ou égal à 20.
3. Architecture de traction (10) selon la revendication 1 ou 2, caractérisée en ce que le deuxième rapport de vitesse (R2) entre la vitesse de rotation de la machine électrique tournante (26) divisée par la vitesse de rotation des roues du véhicule automobile est inférieur strictement à 20.
4. Architecture de traction (10) selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 3, caractérisée en ce que le premier rapport de vitesse (R1 ) est engagé tant que la vitesse du véhicule automobile est inférieure à un premier seuil de vitesse et le deuxième rapport de vitesse (R2) est engagé lorsque la vitesse du véhicule automobile passe au-dessus du premier seuil et jusqu'à ce que la vitesse du véhicule automobile passe en dessous d'un deuxième seuil de vitesse.
5. Architecture de traction (10) selon la revendication 4, caractérisée en ce que le premier seuil de vitesse et le deuxième seuil de vitesse sont différents l'un par rapport à l'autre.
6. Architecture de traction (10) selon la revendication 4 ou 5, caractérisée en ce que le premier seuil de vitesse est compris entre 60 et 100 km/h, et vaut de préférence 90 km/h.
7. Architecture de traction (10) selon l'une quelconque des revendications 4 à 6, caractérisée en ce que le deuxième seuil de vitesse est compris entre 20 et 50 km/h et vaut de préférence 40 km/h.
8. Architecture de traction (10) selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 7, caractérisée en ce que le dispositif d'accouplement (30) est apte à prendre un état assurant un découplage mécanique entre la machine électrique tournante (26) et le train arrière (27).
9. Architecture de traction (10) selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 8, caractérisée en ce que la machine électrique tournante est connectée à un réseau électrique ayant une tension de fonctionnement inférieure à 60Volts.
10. Architecture de traction (10) selon la revendication 9, caractérisée en ce que la tension de fonctionnement du réseau électrique (35) est de 48Volts.
1 1 . Architecture de traction (10) selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 10, caractérisée en ce qu'elle comporte en outre une machine électrique tournante (21 ) de type réversible accouplée à un moteur thermique (13) de la chaîne de traction (1 1 ) du train avant (12).
12. Architecture de traction (10) selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 1 1 , caractérisée en ce qu'elle est configurée pour pouvoir réaliser une fonction de roulage électrique.
13. Architecture de traction (10) selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 12, caractérisée en ce qu'elle est configurée pour pouvoir réaliser une fonction de roulage à quatre roues motrices.
14. Architecture de traction (10) selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 13, caractérisée en ce qu'elle est configurée pour pouvoir réaliser une fonction de décollage électrique du véhicule automobile.
15. Architecture de traction (10) selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 14, caractérisée en ce que la machine électrique tournante (26) est de type synchrone à aimants permanents.
