  • Lid 20, as more clearly seen in FIG. 4 can be detachably fastened to the open upper portion of the rigid shell 15. As shown specifically in FIG. 4, lid 20 can include a closed upper end 26 with an inner surface 28 that has one or more fasteners 24. As shown, the fasteners 24 can be threaded surfaces though lid 20 is not so limited and any number or type of fasteners are contemplated for use.
  • lid 20 may also be pivotally connected to the rigid shell 11 across a hinge or other pivoting arm-type feature so that the lid 20 can be moved between and opened and closed state.
  • the lid 20 may also include a cavity or reservoir or fastener for receiving one or more cosmetics, cosmetic applicators, or even a mirror.
  • a protective shell can be formed about the receptacle 60 and contents stored, housed, or otherwise disposed therein, such as the plurality of cosmetics and/or cosmetic applicators.
  • the central peripheral portion 40 can include a lower portion 42 and an upper portion 48 and the lower portion, as shown in FIGs. 5A-5B. Specifically, FIG. 5 A depicts a close-up perspective view of portion 40 shown its lower end and FIG. 5B depicts another close-up perspective view of portion 40 shown the inner and peripheral surfaces of portion 40.
  • the lower portion 42 as shown can be wider than the upper portion 48 to form a flange 45 for receiving the lid 20.

  • the lower section 41 can be wider than the upper section 43 to form a flange on which the mounting surface 30 can securely and selectively rest.
  • the flange can operate as a predetermined positioning mechanism to locate and/or separate the mounting face 30 and/or receptacle 60.
  • the flange can also include a locking mechanism to lock or otherwise maintain the face 30 and receptacle in a secure arrangement (e.g. fixed vertical position).
  • FIG. 7 depicts a top plan view of the central portion 40 depicted in FIGs. 5A- 6, whereby it can be seen that three radial members 41, 43 are depicted being evenly and radially spaced about portion 40 and extended internally from the outer surface of portion 40.
  • container 10 is not so limited and any number of members 41, 43 could be included, including only one or more than three, and not necessarily evenly or sequentially spaced.
  • Each of members 41, 43 could be detachably positioned as well as adjustable as to a location (e.g. a vertical location) of the flange.

  • Mounting face 30 can be disposed on, or otherwise detachably connected onto an upper surface of the elongated core 60 when assembled with container 10 and the flange formed by radial member 41, 43 can be operable for securely receiving the mounting face 30.
  • the face 30 can include a substantially planar outer surface 30 and include a plurality of radial alignment members 33 operable to communicate and engage with members 41, 43 during assembly.
  • Members 33 can be radially alignment notches on one or more perimetral edges of the mounting face 30 that are substantially aligned with the radial alignment members 41, 43.
  • Members 33 may be selectively positioned and oriented to align with members 41, 43.
  • the mounting face 30 can include a plurality of radially spaced cutouts 37 of varying diameters and shapes.
  • cutouts 37 could be any shape, including elliptical, squares, rectangular, triangular or any other shape. Cutouts 37 could also be slits able to expand or conform to the corresponding cosmetic or cosmetic applicator. Cutouts 37 can also be substantially aligned with the cavities 67 of the core 60.
  • the mounting face 30 can be a disk or otherwise extruded or machined piece and can be rigid, resilient, or some combination thereof. The mounting face 30 can also be detachably connected onto an upper surface of the core 60.

  • Members 63 can be a notch or a groove extended inwardly from and/or running along an outer peripheral surface 62. In this respect, members 41, 43of the central peripheral portion 40 can be guided or slidable through a respective notch or groove 63.
  • receptacle 60 can include one or more cavities 67 that can extend from an upper surface of the core to a predetermined depth. Each cavity 67 can be operable to snugly and securely cushion the corresponding cosmetic and/or cosmetic applicator inserted therein.
  • One or more of the cavities 67 could extend the entire length of receptacle 60 but any depth could be used as needed or required. The depth of each cavity 67 could also be adjusted as needed or required.
  • Each cavity 67 can be capable of flexing or otherwise being adjusted between one of a plurality of different diameters to securely and/or snugly receive different sized cosmetics and/or cosmetic applicators.
  • the elongated core of receptacle 60 can be constructed from a foam (e.g. EVA, EPE, PU, PE, etc.) or a combination of foam with other resilient and/or rigid material or the like. Receptacle 60 in this respect can include an optimized stiffness or softness as needed or required.

Abstract

L'invention concerne un récipient pour produits cosmétiques et/ou applicateurs associés.
