Description

A SYSTEM FOR DEMOGRAPHIC ANALYSIS OF MOBILE OPERATOR SUBSCRIBERS VISITING THE AREAS WHEREIN INDOOR BASE STATION IS ESTABLISHED
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a system which carries out demographic analysis of mobile operator subscribers who get service from base station in private areas (such as shopping mall, hospital, hotel, convention centre, stadium, etc.) wherein indoor base station is established and enables to compare mobile operator subscribers visiting the areas wherein indoor base station is established according to their demographic structures.
Background of the Invention
Today, mobile operators follow up location data of their subscribers over network signals. Mobile operators put location-based services into practice by using the location data of their subscribers. In addition to providing individual services by means of location data, mobile operators also carry out location-based density and distribution analysis of their subscribers by means of services such as smart map for carrying out their subscribers' mass analysis.
However, while performing the transaction of outdoor location determination over network signals, base stations where-from subscribers get service may change in order to balance the network traffic on the base stations in the event that there are a plurality of base stations wherefrom subscribers can get service. In addition to this, location data of subscribers is determined as a certain boundary as within a certain area or neighbourhood boundaries. Therefore, location data of subscribers are not always reliable in the transaction of outdoor location determination.
In the common usage in the state of the art, mobile operators present the density and distribution data of their subscribers -which they obtain in accordance with their location data- to their customers demanding from different sectors upon analysing them in line with the demands of their customers. However, as mentioned above, location-based subscriber analysis of mobile operators cannot be sufficient due to the fact that the location data obtained over outdoor base stations determine subscriber location within a broad boundary and they are not always reliable.
As mentioned above, the fact that mobile operators cannot determine their subscribers' location data precisely by the methods in the state of the art affect reliability of location-based services and subscriber analysis. Therefore, there is need for a system wherein services provided over location data of mobile operator subscribers and subscriber analysis are carried out by means of more reliable data in line with the requirements. The United States patent document no. US20120271883, an application in the state of the art, discloses a system and method which enables to carry out analysis of users and store them in databases and to display matching users on map in accordance with the location data determined from indoor or outdoor base stations and the profile analysis.
The United States patent document no. US20090083121, another application in the state of the art, discloses a method which enables to carry out demographic evaluation of customers by using video recording devices in shopping malls and to display appropriate advertisements on advertising boards according to this evaluation result and to conduct market research. Summary of the Invention
An objective of the present invention is to realize a system which provides demographic analysis of mobile operator subscribers who get service from base station in private areas (such as shopping mall, hospital, hotel, convention centre, stadium, etc.) wherein indoor base station is established.
Another objective of the present invention is to realize a system which enables to compare mobile operator subscribers visiting the areas of the same sector wherein indoor base station is established according to their demographic structures.
